The “Oil Change+ All points Maintenance” was done at AL SERRA’s BUICK Service dept., @ Grand Blanc, MI. My appt., was with Mr. Josh Pettinger who took excellent care of my Buick Encore. Everything was explained to me about the Oil Change/ Lube procedure& the NEW GM REWARDS POINT=CASH system. Josh was patient & very clear in explaining all the questions I had. His team of technicians did an outstanding job in the Buick.

Long story short, I came in with a friend and a good salesman turned me onto the idea of trading cars for a midsized diesel truck. The original proposal hinged on the monthly cost of the truck lease matching the monthly payment on the car. I got shuffled around to three additional salesmen and even the manager attempted to hike the monthly payment as well as the cash due at signing to where I would pay an additional 17.5% overall vehicle price. From my perspective, this is borderline fraud. I went to another dealership closer to my house and ended up reducing my monthly payment offer by 21.4% and reduced the cash due at signing by 70.5%. This is using the exact same trade in and incentives. That large of a difference can only be to the dishonest management practices of this dealership. These numbers were ballooned due to the sales team shuffling us around and trying to get us to sign paperwork without seeing the numbers. I will never go back to Al Serra for anything. If their building was on fire and I desperately needed to urinate, I would relieve myself in the opposite direction. I hope the sales manager is fired and that better dealerships represent GM products. If there was a foreign midsize truck on the market, I would have already gone to one of those dealerships. Al Serra is probably the worst dealership experience I've had in my entire life. Al Serra proved to me that it doesn't have to be a bad side of town after dark for someone to try and rob you.

My only negative comment is that we were told at a previous visit (with a different vehicle) that the $100 diagnostic cost would go toward the repair if we decided to do the repair. This time we were required to pay it on top of the repair cost. The lack of consistency doesn't bode well.

We purchased a 2013 Cadillac Eacalade from Sean White in 2013. We since moved from Michigan to Texas. Our experience with Sean was so excellent in 2013 that when he personally called me in late December to inform me of the end of year deals and rebates on a 2016 Escalade we drove all the way from Texas to purchase the vehicle. I have a GMC dealer 2 miles from my home in Rochester Hills. They have the worst customer service. I will drive 40 miles to Al Serra for how well I was treated. Cody Younglove, in service, went above and beyond to see that my truck was done right. The way Al Serra and Cody helped me I will be a customer for life. Terrible Wait time even with an appointment

Had a scheduled appointment for 7:30am, I wait till after 9am to get my vehicle back, all I had done was an oil change. It was an unacceptable wait time. I will not be going back. I would rather pay a little more to have reasonable service. People's time is valuable, they did a good job at wasting mine.

Overall, I like the truck that I purchased. All the processes for purchase were expedited and the staff was very professional. The only problem that I have is the existing damage to the paint job that I didn't see until I got the vehicle home. I brought the vehicle back to have it touched up and I am not totally satisfied with the work that was done. It looks as if there is the potential for corrosion or rusting because there is still exposed missing paint. I would rate the experience as better if I could get that one issue resolved. Can someone please help me resolve this issue?

I thought buying my Buick from Al Serra was a real pleasure, but the best surprise came a year later when I needed service done. Very professional, and fast. My check engine light came on late Friday, and I needed my car to head out of town for a wedding Saturday. They got on it right away and had it done by 9:30 Saturday morning. I can't praise this dealership enough.
