Friendly guy at check in and he gave us a loaner car since it was going to take longer than we thought.

We had a slow leak in one of our tires. Rairdon Honda of Sumner got the tire in quickly and replaced it. The price was very competitive and the service excellent.

    5 out of 5 starsby Jose_Aguilar on 04/05/2017

Everything went super fast. I had just woken up when i received a call from rairdon honda. Jamie was excellent at helping me choose a vehicle, even color. She was awesome and then came the decision part and without a doubt played me and told me i just bought myself a car! So in other words, i definetly will recommend this dealership to all my friends and family!

The people were very friendly, and when I said I needed my car by a certain time, the rep suggested that I get a loaner so I wouldn't be stressed. That made everything so much easier!
    • Thank you for leaving us your positive review. We are pleased to hear that you were satisfied with the loaner car we provided and the thorough service you received from us. If there is anything more that we can do please come back and see us again. Take care! Regards, Bryan Kelley, General Manager, bkelley@rairdon.com

Jordan Durham made sure that my car was ready when promised, and he also did a great job with a couple of follow-up visits. I was taken care of quickly and in a professional manner.

  • Lies and more Lies

1 out of 5 starsby LovenCars on 04/30/2016

They lied on the price. Lied and said things were done to the car and weren't, kept swapping items on the finance documents, car was disgustingly dirty and smelly, and when I called the service department about the suppose of maintenance items, he told me that they don't have that info. The tone of this conversation turned when I told him I am a former Honda Dealer Manager and I asked him what computer system they were on, so I could tell him how to use it. Never never again. Ps. My daughter bought this car with out telling me. If I was there, this deal would have never happened.
  • Jay Lee's Honda - worth the drive

    5 out of 5 starsby thomas2 on 01/04/2010

Honda makes great cars; however, the dealership sales experience has been uniformly rated below average (see Consumer Reports and JD Power's surveys). Jay Lee's in Sumner is the exception. I worked with Mr. Todd Fee (Internet Sales). Communicating via e-mail and then phone, he was timely, helpful, pleasant, courteous and straightforward to work with. I did a lot of pre-research and had a feel for what my model of Honda might sell for. Upfront, Todd made me a fair sales offer on our prospective new Honda. No games. When we put our deposit down on the car we selected, he carefully segregated it from the rest of the cars to ensure it was pristine for us. When delivery day arrived, he came in on his day off to ensure the car was ready and presented to us in a professional manner. The Used Car Department also gave me an honest and fair price for my clean Honda trade-in; no lowballs or games here either. Brandon in finance was up-front and professional - the numbers on the documents were totally accurate and he explained the additional coverages available but applied no undue pressure to buy. Darrell and Jeff in the Parts Department were also great. They took the time to bring out, unbox and show me the accessories I was interested in so I could make an intelligent choice. They were competitively priced and were not part of mandatory "packages"; you could buy them to install yourself (at list price), installed or as part of a package -- your choice (some Honda dealerships do not work like that and charge more than list price to boot). Overall, instead of being a stress-filled exercise in confrontation with tempers and raised voices, the purchase of my new Honda was satisfying and memorable. The facility is new and frankly, beautiful; well laid out and modern with a comfortable customer lounge. Its worth the 30-60 minute drive from Seattle or the Eastside to work with these fine professionals.
  • Well worth the trip!

5 out of 5 starsby nancycm on 11/05/2009

If you are going to buy a car, this is where you want to do it. These guys really worked hard (much harder than anyone in the Seattle area given the chance) to find me the car I wanted and to get me the price that I needed to make it possible. It is well worth your time, even if in Seattle, to make the trip to Sumner and find Greg L. The whole experience was fun, personal and rewarding. I love my car. I love its price. I feel as if I made some friends. The showroom is comfortable, clean and professional. The stock is impressive and the employees are genuinely nice people who seem to enjoy their work. There is a Wii set up for the kids (and adults), a lounge, and its a genuinely nice place to be.
  • Dead battery times two

I had some time to kill yesterday, so I stopped by to test drive a 2013 Honda Fit around 8 pm. The salesman was nice and friendly. He went inside the dealership and got the keys for the Fit I chose to test drive. But when he came out with the keys, the brand new car refused to start--the battery was dead. He tried to jump it with a portable jumper thingie, but was unsuccessful. I then asked to test drive the Fit right next to the one with a dead battery. So he went back into the dealership to swap out keys. When he came back out and I tried to start the second Fit, it too had a dead battery. What the heck?!?! Now I would expect this if I was trying to start a 1973 Ford Galaxy 500 at Billy Bob's Bucket of Bolts Used Cars in Hickville. But two BRAND NEW cars at a Honda dealership? Come on guys, get your act together.

We walked in just looking the sales department was extremely polite, truthful, and patient. They asked us to sit down and we ended up with a offer WE couldn't refuse. This is a team that is willing to go out of their way to make sure you get everything you want. We had every opportunity to walk out the door with no pressure. Thank you Justin, Solomon, and Camilo!! We enjoy our 2014 Honda Accord Sport

I purchased a new vehicle in December 2011, interior equipment missing, salesman stated he would get the part, has never happened, Life time oil change was requested, when I went for Oil change there was not record of purchase. Price of the vehicle was misrepresented. I have called, went to the dealership and written a letter, no return calls or coespondance from the dealer.

I drove all the way from Bellevue to inspect a used 2006 Audi A4 that was advertised as great condition. They claimed it was serviced by their own team before the sale. The sales people were nice, seemed sincere and believed the car was as advertised. However, within 24 hours of bringing the car home the check engine lights went on, the service indicator went on and the brakes started to make noises. I called the sales people and they promised to take care of the problem if I bring the vehicle back during the week. Before I could bring the vehicle in, the brakes got progressively worse and sounded like it had serious problems. I called them back to tell them I didn't think it was safe to drive all the way from Bellevue to Sumner. Since the sales people weren't available I left a message with one of the other staff. I waited. I never got a call back. There was no way I would continue driving with a car in that condition, considering I have a 7 month old baby in the back seat. I got the vehicle inspected by a reputable local service center. Apparently, the vehicle had not been serviced in a long time and one engine component was really worn out. It looked like someone had temporarily reset the check engine indicator without having properly serviced the car. The noise from the brakes was because someone tried to install brakes that weren't compatible with the car and it was interfering with the disk. They also didn't install it properly so there was a loose part. The brakes could have failed at any point. The cost to resolve these issues was $1300. The dealer eventually called back and when I told them the cost of repairs to make the car safe to drive, the manager basically said "tough luck...you bought the car as is". This is the worse experience I've ever had in buying a car. After selling me a car that was unsafe to drive, I was told to get lost. I just bought a used 2008 VW GTI for my wife from Chaplins last week and the experience was completely opposite. This was the same place I bought a brand new Legacy GT from and the service was amazing. It's hard to believe how two dealership can be so different.

This staff was far from the calibre of sales people that I'm use to working with when I've purchased any of my other 4 new Honda's. They are nothing but a bunch of used car sales man!!! Save your self the hassle go some where else!
  • TERRIBLE!!!

I have had the worst experience ever with Honda of Sumner!! I bought my last two cars at different honda dealers with no issues at all. Last month I traded in my odyssey for a newer one. After I sign the paperwork I was told they only had a valet key for the odyssey I was buying. Then they said they would give me a new key with a fob. I was told to come back the next day to have it made. I went home to get my son and he noticed the back seat had no seat belt buckle, so he had to use another seat. I came back the next day to complain about the seatbelt missing and they finally replaced it. I asked about the key and fob over 5 times and they kept giving me the run around. I still have not received it and now I have to use the key in the door to unlock and lock, power sliding doors aren't worth having if you don't even have the fob to open them!!! Now that's not all! I was contacted by the bank I had my trade-in odyssey loan through and they say Honda of Sumner never paid off my trade-in. I called Honda of Sumner and was told they couldn't look anything up at the moment and they would have to call me back. I am going to start bringing family down there and start a scene. If they want customers, this is definetly not the thing to do! Everyone they screw over is going to spread the word. Not smart!
