    Purchasing a used vehicle at Mechanicsville Toyota was the best experience I had in a car purchase. Marvin Bracy was professional, always polite and made you feel welcome and important. All questions were answered promptly and he went out of the way to make sure everything was ready for us when we traveled from Hagerstown to pick up our newly purchased car. Even the follow up was caring. It was a good experience.

  • Well worth the trip

    I drove for over 3 hours to look at a specific model car at this dealership as I couldn't find one in my area. Staff members were kind, not pushy or aggressive, easy to work with and accommodating. My salesperson, Marvin, was a delight and incredibly personable and honest. I drove away in the car I wanted that day with no hassle. Everything taken care of for me, even coordination with the bank in another state I was financing with.

    The lady I always deal with Sarah is so nice and she take her time telling me about my car she never seem rushed and that's why I keep coming back when you can take your car to be service and the auto person no your name and can greet you with a smile that is very special. She is alway friendly and very pleasant I wouldn't stop coming there for nothing keeping her there keeps me coming back.

    The service rep saw that I was distressed and just could not have been more kind. He got my vehicle done incredibly fast and made it easy for me to check out. I wish I had remembered to get his name because I would have liked to thank him personally in this survey. Even though I live in Hampton, I already recommend Mechanicsville Toyota to my friends and relatives. First it was because of price, now because of service. As a single woman, follow up service is MORE important than price. My salesman reassured me that i would get the service I was expecting and he was right. Thank you.

    I think you are more honest than other Toyota dealers and other Auto shops( but little pricey). Its the ONLY reason I drive 40 miles( one way) and bring my both cars to your shop.

    This is how buying a car should be, Easy to negotiate a price, no pressure to add options or items at paperwork signing. This is the third car we have bought from them. There is a Toyota dealer a whole lot closer to use, but I would rather drive the distance to deal with good trusting people.

  • Buying Experience

    I began looking for a car online opposed to going from dealership to dealership looking for cars. I found Mechanicsville Toyota and the selection was far better then what I was finding at other comparable dealerships. I emailed the sales manager, Souf, regarding one car I was interested in and he got back to me immediately and so did the General Manager who was on vacation at the time. I scheduled to come in just knowing I wanted the car I found online but once I was there and drove it, I realized it was not me. I had them pick out 4 more cars for me to drive over the next few days, they wouldnt stop until I was satisfied. They were very patient and listened to what I wanted and found it. I love my car so much and will always buy my vehicles there. What I really enjoyed the most from my car buying experience at Mechanicsville Toyota was how friendly everyone was. From the sales guys to the General Manager everyone was so willing to help and you really felt like they cared. When I finally found the car I wanted, they got me in and out with my tags, beautifully cleaned car and no buyers remorse. Keep up the great job guys, I'll continue to refer and purchase cars there for years to come.
  • 15000 miles service

    Terrible! They charged $270 for 15k mile service. They changed cabin air filter for $40 even though it was not required by my Corolla's manual. I will never take my car there for service. Right after the service I called some other dealerships and the price for the same service was $100 less!

    After selling my used vehicle online, I began shopping for a new Toyota. I made many, in-person & online, visits within 150 mile radius. Was surprised & disappointed with sales people, not returning calls and not following up on requests. One salesman even told me he only worked with SERIOUS buyers! This was after I had told him I drove 100 miles to see his inventory! John Nickens and Tony Spain were the exception to ALL other salesmen! All my concerns were explained in depth. As a female senior I was treated with respect and felt very comfortable and not 'put off' or intimidated. I am thrilled with my gorgeous new Highlander! Hopefully we will continue our great relationship! Kudos to John, Tony and Braxton! They are the BEST!

    I recently bought a 2011 Camry from Mechanicsville Toyota. Matt Dobbs worked with me to find the car I wanted and gave a great price. I did have a trade and they matched the offer I had from another dealer. Overall it was a very easy process with no unwanted surprises.
  • A Great Place to Buy a Car

    I did my research online and then contacted Tony Jones to get a price quote on a 2011 Prius 3 with custom leather seats and a navigation package. Tony quickly sent me information on two vehicles and quoted a price which was fair and less that of several other dealerships. In the past, I've purchased mainly from high-pressure, high-volume urban dealers. They play all the auto sales games and drag out the negotiations for hours. Moreover, these days a Prius sells at a premium, and there is little bargaining room. So I was really pleased with the relaxed sales experience at Mechanicsville Toyota. I'll note that I did not have a trade-in and arranged my own financing. But I still feel that the overall tone of this dealership is relaxed and focused on customer satisfaction. I'll go there again. It was worth the 90 mile drive.
