by Happy_Twin_Mom on 11/28/2016Shopping for a car is one of my least favorite things to do, particularly when I had just gone through the process a year ago only to lose my car in last month's hurricane. However, working with Marlon and Select Auto Imports made buying… this car the most comfortable, stress-free experience I've ever had! From the moment we contacted Select Auto regarding a car we were interested in, Marlon was helpful and communicative without being pushy. The car we wanted to drive was in much better condition and priced more reasonably than what we could find locally, so we made an appointment with Marlon and drove up from RIchmond. The car was ready as soon as we arrived and was in immaculate condition. During our test drive, Marlon pointed out several features and answered all our questions in a relaxed and informative way without being overzealous. I really loved the car but was torn between that one and another car I had driven prior to arriving. Marlon and his manger arranged to have the other model car brought over so we could do a side-by-side analysis. They provided a tape measure so we could assess how much space each car had and went through the features of each. While I think they both knew the car we'd driven was a better choice for our family, they respectfully gave my husband and I uninterrupted private time to inspect each vehicle and come to our own decision. I could not be happier with the choice we made, and feel much more settled with our decision because we had the opportunity to compare both cars without pressure. I will gladly send all my Richmond friends to Marlon and Select Auto Imports when they need to purchase a new car. And we will certainly give Select Auto Imports our business again!Great Experience

I shared with him the details of how I wanted my buying experience to be. Marlon, Robert, and Mike were all very accommodating in… meeting my expectations. My comments are not intended to be overly complimentary as I have nothing to gain by exaggerating. I just want to share my experience because I purchased a great car! I would definitely go back if the need warranted as they maintain an inventory of exceptionally beautiful vehicles. Mike (the owner) has extremely high standards and if you buy a car here, you are… getting a great vehicle. I won't go into details here, but Mike helped us out with an issue in a way that was above and beyond -- an issue that was critical to us. Naser Ziarmal, our Sales Consultant, was outstanding as before. He is knowledgeable, friendly, confidence-inspiring, and clearly loves being able to make his customers happy. We had not seen him in a couple of years since our original purchase (a Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid) but he remembered us as if we'd seen him only the day before. Great people (including great service on our financing), great staff, great service. We love our new Mercedes GLK350. They were professional and patient. The car was clean in and out like they said. I took a look around… their lot, and their vehicles are clean. I expect to contact them again when I am in the market for another car. I would give them 5 STARS. If you were in the market for a car, I would give them a go. When I sent them an email they promptly responded. Another dealership I contacted did not get back to me for several days. The entire team was committed to placing us in the right car at the right price and the right terms. We bought a car from Select Auto after the recommendation from a family member who has bought three vehicles from them. Customer service is extremely important and everyone from the receptionist, sales consultant, general manager, business owner, as well as finance/account manager, provided… first-class service. I am very happy with my vehicle. I traded a 10 year old Corvette to upgrade for a practically new StingRay which is not the type of vehicle this dealership specializes. I appreciate the honesty they offered because others may have attempted to sale me a vehicle with very little knowledge and pretend. I also appreciate the sales consultant, Ali, allowing me to make my own decision regarding the transaction. He is a sharp salesman and is going far in the industry. We test drove the car and we told them exactly what we were looking for in terms of price. Marlon took our information and said he would be in contact… with us later. We thought for sure that Select Auto would not be able to meet our terms. We went to Mercedes Benz and they flat out told us they could not meet our terms. As we were leaving we received a call from Marlon saying it's a done deal. We returned and completed all the necessary paperwork. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I truly appreciate all the hard work Marlon did to make this purchase possible and the Select Auto staff for helping us. I highly recommend Select Auto to anyone looking for a high end luxury vehicle that is reliable. Do not believe when other dealership say Select Auto is not the best. They are incorrect. They suggested to take my time, compare all the choices and come back following day with my… no. 1 choice. In other words, there was no pressured or rush. Throughout the visits, I had their undivided and uninterrupted attention. They are firm on their prices. No back and forth between sales person and his manager. In conclusion, I had very good experience. Car buying is like a family affair in this place.Awesome Purchase Experience

I called the dealership to ask a few questions about a car I saw online, they were very polite, accommodating and informative. The car was exactly as advertised. I… had the pleasure to work with Marlon and he was great very knowledgeable, professional, efficient and courteous. Made me feel comfortable. He was able to explain all the various features of the car(s) of interest. I wondered how he remembered all this. Marlon was (is) very responsive to texts, emails and retuning of calls. He personally, as well as a number of his friends and clients, had purchased cars from Select Auto and all had been very satisfied with their purchases. I… had the pleasure of having Naser Ziarmal as my sales consultant. In addition to being very courteous and kind, he is extremely knowledgeable and couldn't have been more accommodating. Naser took the time to listen to what I wanted in a car and found me the perfect combination of style and safety in the form of a beautiful 2014 Mercedes E350. No high pressure sales techniques -- I really got the feeling that he wanted me to be happy and comfortable with my car purchase. While I was at the dealership, I met a man who was making his 8th car purchase from Naser and Select Auto. He told me that all of his car buying experiences had been great and that is why he kept coming back. I was purchasing the car from out of state and therefore the process of my purchase required some attentiveness and communication from the… staff. Marlon was very prompt in all of our communication and made the process very easy for me. He was helpful in answering all of my questions about the vehicle and he streamlined the process to work into my requested schedule. Marlon was always very quick to return calls, texts and emails which instilled a lot of confidence in me regarding the business as a whole. I also had a very good experience with Mike in Finance. Mike helped answer all of my questions, made setting up financing a breeze and facilitated prompt turnaround of all necessary paperwork. Buying a vehicle can sometimes be stressful, particularly when buying out of state but the gentleman at SAI made the process very enjoyable through their professionalism.
