Painless
by sharolynb on 01/03/2016We had a great experience buying my new car. We went in told them what we wanted they pulled it up and we drove it. It was exactly what we were looking for. Decided to purchase told them where we wanted to be and after some negotiation we… were able to reach a deal. Our salesman Ryan Bilanzich was very professional and provided great customer service. When we asked to be left alone to talk he walked away and gave us some time to make our decision. His service was wonderful. I would definitely recommend him and our finance guy Carlos Ojeda was super professional and explained the invoice in detail for us.I'm extremely happy to hear that your purchasing experience was enjoyable. Thank you for your feedback! I'll be sure to pass it along to Ryan and Carlos. -Phil Pecoraro, General Manager
Used car department
by turbie2276 on 11/06/2015updated 11/13/2015Me and my wife recently bought a used Lincoln mks from lhm ford in sandy and was very impressed with the buying experience, from the professional sales staff to the clean and easy way of buying one of our dream cars. In shopping we went to… other dealers and wasn't nearly satisfied with the quality of cars or sales people. lhm made the buying process more about the people driving them. not just the car and deal itself. Thanks for choosing us to purchase your new MKS! You've made a great choice. I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed the experience. -Phil Pecoraro, General Manager
Corvette in limbo
by justbankit on 10/02/2015I began with one salesperson then was handed over to another who took me for a test drive. During the test drive I noticed engine noises and mentioned it to the salesman who conveyed it to the sales manager. I then made what I thought was a… fair offer which I thought would compensate for the problem. Since I couldn't get a straight offer out of anyone, I left. The next day the original salesperson called and was completely oblivious to what had gone on the said she had other interested parties and tried to leverage me. In summation, the entire transaction was confusing and handled poorly. I have purchased 3 vehicles from this dealership but If I go in again, I should have my head examined.I'd like the opportunity to speak with you further about your comments. I invite you to please reach out to me at (801) 563-4010. -Phil Pecoraro, General Manager

Just let me drive the truck.
by Haresear on 06/25/2015I was looking to replace my F150 and had done my research for the truck I want. We went to LHM and found the truck we wanted to test drive on the lot. we took down the truck number and proceeded to the sales office. the guy at the door… shook our hands and we told him the truck we wanted to test drive and gave him the number. he returned with the sales manager who asked us what we wanted to spend and a bunch of other financial questions "so he could pick out the right truck for us." We told him we new what we wanted and had told the other guy the truck number of the one we wanted to drive. He said "well that guy doesn't know anything, he is an idiot" and laughed like it was ok to call people he worked with idiots. He went on to try and sell us on a truck we did not want. Finally he went back to the office and comes out and sends the other guy to get a golf cart and states that they have a big lot and his computer was not locating that truck. I told him the truck was right over there and we had already looked at it we just wanted to drive it. Long story short he would not let us off the lot with the truck we wanted to test drive and shouted I sell 200 trucks a month as we drove away. I will never step foot on another LHM dealership!Thank you for taking the time to bring this to our attention. It is our goal to provide each of our guests with a satisfying experience. Were always looking for ways to improve the customer experience. For this purpose, Id like to talk with you to learn more about your situation. Could you please give me a call at (801) 563-4010? Best Wishes. -Phil Pecoraro, General Manager

Most Unprofessional Dealership I've EVER Encountered!
by asw_racing on 08/29/2014Very bad experience purchasing a used vehicle from them. They made verbal promises, but didn't want to put it in writing, I had a hard time getting a purchase contract from them, and when I did it was full of mistakes and missing any… mention of their promises. They assured me they'd straighten it all out. But sure enough, when they delivered the vehicle, the paperwork still wasn't right, and worse, the promised bodywork repairs had not been made. The delivery guy called the dealership and got the OK from the general manager, Phil P, to take $200 off the price in lieu of the dent repairs. I heard the whole conversation and even confirmed it myself with Phil. I paid with a certified check with this $200 withheld per the instructions I was given. I thought that was the end of it. Well, a few weeks later when I contacted the dealer to find out why I hadn't received my title, I got accused of shorting them $200. My attempts to reach Phil and straighten this out have been in vain. Multiple messages have gone unanswered. Near as I can tell, my title is being held hostage. I'm not really sure whether this is just a matter of incompetence in the form of poor internal communication within the dealership, or an actual attempt at fraud, but whichever one it is, it sends a bad message about the dealer. Unable to get anyone at the dealership to address this issue or even communicate with me for that matter, I really had no choice other than to file a complaint with the Utah Motor Vehicle Enforcement Division. I have a document signed by the delivery guy confirming that the price would be reduced by $200 due to the failure to repair the dents, so this should really be a slam-dunk. But the very fact that I have to go to that extreme to get LHM Ford Sandy to live up to the agreement, speaks volumes about how they do business there. Nearly as I can tell, they're not the least little bit concerned about customer satisfaction or about fair and honest dealings with customers. Eventually I got my title, but they still hadn't fixed the paperwork, and I ended up paying more sales tax than I should have. When I brought this up with them, the response was that I was a "problem customer" because I "expect perfection". YOU'RE DAMN RIGHT I EXPECT PERFECTION WHEN IT COMES TO KEEPING YOUR PROMISES AND GETTING ALL THE PAPERWORK RIGHT! The very fact that anyone at the dealership has a standard other than perfection is EXACTLY why all these problems occur. The place needs a thorough housecleaning. The staff that doesn't think it's important to keep promises and to get the paperwork perfect should be out on the street and replaced with people who care about doing their job right. And management that's not making that happen isn't doing their job either! To this day, now 4+ months after the purchase, LHM Ford Sandy has not made me whole on the overpayment of my sales tax due to their mistake. What's more, they still owe me the owner's manuals, something that's guaranteed to be included with a Certified Pre-Owned Ford. I asked for them, they were promised, and it's just another in a long series of broken promises. In short, these guys are very unprofessional in the way they go about purchase transactions. It's almost as if they intentionally try to obscure what's really going on. If you do business with them, insist on getting everything in writing, because based on my experience, they try their hardest to leave you in the dark. That leaves a lot of room for mistakes and it opens the door to deception and fraud (which I suspect is the real reason they do it).I apologize that we took a while to connect. If you still have any questions or concerns, I invite you to contact me directly at (801) 563-4010. -Phil Pecoraro, General Manager
Leased Car
by Jennab867 on 01/23/2014updated 06/03/2025I leased a car and was assured that the financing was no problem. I had the car in my possession for more than a week when I was called in and advised I'd have to come up with $5000. as a down payment. I am a single working mom and had to… withdraw money from a 401K to meet this criteria. I believe the information that I received related to qualifying for financing, and letting me leave with the vehicle, were unethical. We understand completely your frustration, and apologize that things weren't able to work out differently. Unfortunately we do not control the financing of the vehicle, the banks do. And occasionally unforeseen issues arise. Again, we apologize for this and hope we can have the opportunity to work with you again in the future.
