    I was very Happy to choose planet ford to do my new car purchase. After a house a car purchase is the second biggest investment and the team @ planet ford from the general Manager all the way to finance departpmemt make my purchase experience very easy and save me quite a lot of money.
  • misleading sales tactic on prepaid maintenance

    when my platinum f350 was purchased I was also sold the highest prepaid maintenance package which covered everything needed on the truck. it would take me through 125,000 miles. I was just informed on my last maintenance trip that I was only covered for one more maintenance even though I was only at 92,000 miles; I drive a lot and put a lot of miles on my truck. each maintenance is done every 7,500 miles. I asked if my transmission fluid was flushed already and they said no; I was informed that it was not covered under my maintenance package. I informed them that it was and that I purchased the highest level of maintenance package; furthermore, I had previously purchased the prior model of the f350 with the same maintenance package and that one was covered for sure since they did it under that package. the gentleman printed out a copy of the maintenance package with details. I informed him that the listing was incomplete as the def fluid and fuel filters are not listed yet they are covered. he confirmed this was true, but said that the transmission was still not covered; I proceeded to tell him I would pay for it since it needed to be done and didn't want to keep arguing. I also noticed on the printout that it still showed I still had 5 more maintenance visits left on my contract. he came back and highlighted 3 things on the paper; the purchase date and he showed me it states 5 years, the second thing highlighted was mileage which was entered as 101,000 miles, and the third thing highlighted was the number of maintenance visits. he said that what the sales people don't inform the customer is that the contract expires based on time, like the 5 years from time of purchase, the number of visits which I still had 5 left, or the mileage which was entered as 101,000 miles, whichever occurs first. anyhow, this is deceptive and very frustrating. after I purchased my first f350 I had nothing but good experience with the sales experience and the maintenance visits. I sent a lot of my friends to buy their ford vehicles there. everything was good. that maintenance took me through 129,000 miles due to me extending every maintenance visit by some extra miles. I traded that vehicle for this new model at 166,000 miles. on this one, it's a lot more troublesome, not only with the vehicle breaking down but issues with service department not covering parts on the truck that are supposed to be covered and now the premium maintenance package not covering my transmission flush nor lasting as long as it should. planet ford has turned into trash. I will not be buying another vehicle from there.

    My salesman Chris was great, very attentive, knowledgeable and patient. I never felt rushed with him, he took time to answer all my questions and find me just what I wanted! I’ll definitely go back to see Chris next time I need a vehicle!

    I picked up my truck 12/28/202. I am having a problem with my truck. I called the service rep and he never answers the phone. Left a message on the managers phone and no return call.

    Both my husband and I were blessed this year with 2 new trucks (F150 and F250)! We had a great experience with the entire staff from start to finish! We were very pleased with the customer service the whole way through. We bought our trucks for many years at another dealership, but glad I made a switch to Planet Ford as we got a much better price and as I said the customer service was superb! Thanks Planet Ford! We are very happy with our purchases!

    Recently went to Planet Ford Quick Lube in Spring, Texas. No appointment was needed. Wait time for service was reasonable. Had oil changed and tires rotated. Technician recommended Rear brake rotators be resurfaced and new brake pads. I agreed with recommended services and all work was completed to my satisfaction in a timely manner.

    I took my truck in for an oil change, tire rotate and was met by the service crew immediately. They took my truck, and within a little while, my truck was complete and detailed. Planet Ford always goes the extra mile and that I why I continue to remain a customer and recommend this dealership to my friends and family. Great job guys!

    My wife mistakenly put gasoline in our diesel F250, requiring a complete new fuel system. This work was performed at another dealership outside Texas. We drove up from Cypress and picked it up. On our drive back to Texas I noticed the fuel system would lose it’s prime. We took it to Planet Ford in Spring, Texas and they found one of the fuel system lines wasn’t installed correctly, allowing air to enter the fuel system and lose it’s prime. Problem resolved quickly and the installing dealership paid for the labor to repair the mistake. I trust Planet Ford in Spring for service work done right. Also, super thanks for the staff.

    I liked the fact that the pricing was more transparent than other dealers. The salesman kept on top of things - answering questions and providing video tours of the vehicle we were interested in.

    I took my Ford Escape for an oil change and to get a check engine light that came on. At the beginning everything was going great just like always. Then as the results for the check engine light came back I was told that one of the It have something to do with the fuel system. He gave a price and I asked if this need to done that day or can it wait for Saturday. I need to be at an interview at 9am. He responded with yes, he recommended to do so. He quoted me a price and I gave home the green light for the work. Then about 40 minutes later he came back saying that the intercool broke and needed to be replaced. He said not to worry as he was going to provide a loaner vehicle for the day. I told him thank you. Provided him with the information he needed, left on the loaner never didn’t mention to me that I was going to be charged for the part that broke while the other part of as being taken off. I had several jobs done to the car that day besides the oil change and the check engine light. I also asked to check my AC since the car doesn’t cool properly. I am a repeated customer for the pass seven years. Even though I can do some of the things myself I rather pay to get it done right and I’m a timely manner. This allows me well you all allow me to spend more time with my family then doing repairs. As I came back to pick up my vehicle I was given an 800+ repair bill. When the original estimate for the check engine light was almost $400 plus the oil change and AC check. It should have been less then $500. I asked why so much. Then I was told I was being charged for the part and labor of the part that broke. For one I was never aware that I was going to be paying for something that broke while another part was being replaced. Even though I called several times throughout the day to check on the status of the vehicle. This is the second time that this happens to me with you all. I feel like I was taken advantage off the reason I go to you is not only because of the great customer service well besides the last two times. If I wanted to pay less I could go to another shop, but I rather pay premium price knowing it’s going to get done right and I won’t be taken advantage off. I am truly upset and I am considering looking for another shop to take my vehicles to, or just do the work myself. You are not the only quick lane that has disappointed me. Also the quick lane at 249 and Spring Cypress really disappointed me as well. To me having somewhere reliable to take your vehicles is a necessary. You have lost a long time client.

    Planet Ford staff provided a great buying experience. We got what we needed, and wanted, without high pressure sales. Their selection was impressive, giving us a variety of option to chose from within our wish list, and price! Finance kept the deal honest, and straight forward. The truck has exceeded our expectation in performance so far. We chose the 5 liter V8 with optional 3.31 axle, 2 wheel drive.

    Since it has been more than 2 months since it was diagnosed as needing replacement, Planet Ford still can't repair the radio in my 2018 f-150 truck saying the part is still on order I will never give any Ford product a good review until its repaired.
