by SA Customer on 05/16/2025i posted on your FB page. the basic services i approved were done satisfactorily. there was a estimate to do my front brakes bvecause my pads were at 4mm, i declined because i thought the estimate was to high. i too it to my mechanic… of 20 years and his assessed they did not need to be replaced, they were at 8mm and still in good shape. GMC west what was that about? i had a hard time getting vehicle status and i had to call every day to see where we were at...the services i approved took longer than i expected. lastly, i got a text saying for the survey not to bother doing the survey if i was not going to rate 5 stars or all superior...IMO not a good way to do business... and i will not be back...you lost my business for good.2025 GMC ACADIA

5 Stars – A Truly Exceptional Experience
by Andrew on 05/04/2025I had been searching across Texas for weeks, looking for a specific Yukon in a certain trim that was clearly in high demand—only ten or so were available statewide. Most dealers I contacted were either marking up the price well over MSRP… and/or adding thousands in unnecessary extras. Then I came across the exact model and trim I wanted on GMC’s website, which showed it was in transit to Cavender GMC West. From there, the experience couldn’t have been smoother. I quickly found the vehicle on Cavender’s website and submitted an online price request. I got an instant response—and to my surprise (and Cavender's credit), they were offering the vehicle below MSRP with no dealer add-ons. A few minutes later, I received a call from Brandon Guzman. He confirmed the price without hesitation. No games, no changes—just total transparency. I asked if I could put down a deposit to hold the vehicle, and Brandon made it happen that evening. Over the next ten days, while I waited for it to arrive, Brandon stayed in touch. As soon as it landed, he called to let me know it would be ready the next day. I drove down from Austin to San Antonio, and when I arrived, the vehicle was freshly detailed, fully gassed up, and waiting for me to take it home. The paperwork took less than 40 minutes. No upselling. No pressure. Just a smooth, easy transaction. Brandon took the time to walk me through all the vehicle’s features and answered every question I had. I was back on the road within an hour and twenty minutes. He even texted me the next day just to check in, make sure everything went well on the drive back, and confirm that I had everything set up the way I wanted. I’ve purchased nine vehicles from seven different dealerships in my lifetime—this was easily one of the best buying experiences I’ve had. Brandon Guzman was honest, responsive, and incredibly easy to work with. Cavender GMC West runs a professional, customer-focused operation from start to finish. When I take my other vehicles to the dealership they greet me at my vehicle, until I went to Freedom Chevrolet, where they don't greet you,… they let you rot in your vehicle until you go find them, so I will now go farther away from home to get service. If I come to your dealership to give you my time, business, and money. Don't make me have to chase you down and beg you to take my money. Evidently Freedom Chevrolet has to much business, and money because they didn't want mine. That's how I ended up here. Once he was able to recognize the issue he worked very diligently to get things moving. With… the extent of the repair and services required, Jesus was able to work with the service technician and parts department to get everything in stock and repaired in a fairly timely manner. He was always communicating with me and responding to any questions in a very timely manner. Bad service
by Mellissa Carrigan on 01/09/2025My husband and I purchased a new 2024 Sierra 1500 on 11/22/2024. We were made aware that the vehicle had been used a courtesy vehicle but being sold as a new vehicle. While test driving the vehicle we became aware of a tear in the center… console and brought it to the attention of the sales person. He said he would speak to the manager and see what could be done about it. We told him at that time that as the vehicle was being sold as a "NEW" vehicle that we would only purchase it if the console were to be replaced and not repaired. We were assured multiple times that that would not be a problem and it would be taken care of so we purchased the vehicle. As time went by and no one contacted us about the "replacement" console we started calling to see when to expect this to be addressed. It became increasingly difficult to get an answer from anyone but finally were told when to bring the vehicle in. My husband took it in at the appointed time (fully expecting a new console) but when he picked it up he realized that they had tried to repair the tear instead of replacing the console like we had been assured of. Since then, after numerous emails and phone calls we still have a very obviously repaired center console and now no one returns our phone calls or emails. As you can see we are very unhappy and disappointed in this dealership and the way we have been lied to and ignored.Mellissa, I'm truly sorry to hear about your experience with the console replacement. Didn't try to sway her decision for the more expensive vehicle, just for a better commission.
