onPleasant, the sell rep was straight foward. Went over everything and let my wife pick the vehicle she wanted. Didn't try to sway her decision for the more expensive vehicle, just for a better commission. The sell rep was more concerned about us being happy with our vehicle and helped on making sure there was an option for us to get it. Highly recommend Cavender West & especially Rolando.

onAverage at Best. Took vehicle in for routine maintenance. Glass cleaner fluid wasn't filled. Have a Parking Assist alert that was not addressed as requested. Vehicle wasn't washed.

onI was able to get in and get my required maintenance taken care and be on my day. I had to fight off acquisitions on trying to buy my truck in while waiting. If they'd open up their wallet a little, they could possibly get it...haha. My service advisor kept informed of everything.

David collins. WORST FRONT DESK SERVICE

onWith a very nasty actitud just told me everyone pays $190 just to check your car. It’s not about the money it’s about how a guys tells a woman something is wrong with the car. Customer service. It ok. I’ll gladly take my car somewhere else. But not with David Collins. Never recommending this dealer.

Truck purchase

onWasn’t not allowed or even asked if I wanted to test drive the truck, only got to drive it in dealer parking lot full of cars. Then was shopping during Labor Day sale, when there was a $750 discount on ANY new vehicle and the details did not mention any exceptions to the discount, when I asked for it, was told it did not apply.. dealer was also charging for a “ceramic coating”applied to the truck, when truck was delivered to me at night there was water spots on it, which a properly ceramic coated vehicle would not have.I also never got a proper delivery of truck, no one bothered to show me features/ connect account etc. for financing was not told the rate or anything until I was at the signing papers part.. when i brought up if I could get a better rate from my bank was told to just refinance.. experience was not such of buying a $90k truck.. lucky for them the truck sold itself.

onJoseph Hamm was the sales person who responded to my inquiry online for a 2023 GMC Canyon. As with most things online, you never what or who you’re going to get and that goes both ways. We set up a time to meet and that’s where I can’t express enough how professional and knowledgeable he was. I, over-research everything and anything that I plan to buy, rent, visit or that I’m just interested or curious about. Joseph was able to throw in small details that let me know he was in the business of customer satisfaction and to ensure the customer had everything that he knew about the vehicle. Picked up my AT4 and other than some minor details (not attributed to sales) it was an exceptionally quick pick up and drive off experience. I’m sure all their sales people are exception, but if you go with Joseph, he’ll treat you right.

Oil change Tire rotation/Alignment another vehicle

onSo, took 3 hrs for the oil chance and a tire rotation. I was there at 7:40 AM. I was actually second person there that morning for an oil change. 3 -4 people went in after my arrival for oil change service. and 3 out of the 4 were out before me. I walked out of there at 10 till 11 AM. But I was patient, up until the 3rd person after me received their vehicle that is was completed. I will not return, and I would just drive an extra few miles for future services to other GM dealership. Worst part is I've taken my other vehicle their for an alignment twice. And the second time it's still not right. I'm just tired of dealing with it, that I will just take it to other GM dealer to hopefully get it done right. I will also not recommend this dealer for any service/maintenance repairs issues. I will drive the extra miles to get better service and work done right the first time. I have told a few people about the alignment service on my other vehicle, and the oild change service and they recommend to me another GMC dealer, and they have been pleased with. So I will try them out. I paid for a full pop alignment service on my vehicle and after 2 times I should be reimbursed. especially when you pay for something to be done and after 2 times it's not done right. So no recommendations here.

Buyer Beware

onOur salesperson told us that the trailer camera that should come with the truck was missing and had to be ordered. He said it should take a couple weeks. To date we have not yet received this camera. We have followed up, talked to numerous people with decision making authority (Including Joey the sales director who gave us some BS reponse a couple months ago and that was it), we also talked to Eric, our one time transaction person to get our camera however no one there really gives a crap to follow through. I feel they were happy to get their money for an $84,000 AT4 and then walk away with the deal unfinished, never to return. For this reason I offer my rating as a 1 and will definitely not go back for another purchase. Ever.

Oil Change

onI paid for an oil change & 5-point inspection. The oil percentage was not reset, the washer fluid wasn't topped off and tire pressure wasn't checked. My washer fluid shows low and tire pressure is also low. I feel concerned that my oil change wasn't even performed and may have to take it somewhere else to have it checked. I have a 10:20am for an oil change and wasn't called to pick up car until 3pm

onDespite having a heavy-duty battery installed in August 2021, towards the latter part of November 2021, the truck began to crank slowly when attempting to start. On December 6, 2021, I scheduled the appointment for December 9. I explained to the person receiving the call the current issue with the vehicle. The receiver explained the need for a Diagnostic Test. Therefore, the truck will most likely remain overnight. I acknowledge. I had already requested time off from work foreseeing that issue. My scheduled days off were December 9 (Thurs) and December 10 (Fri). Upon arrival on December 9 and speaking with Mr. Isaiah Ovalle, he informed me that Monday (December 13) would be the earliest a technician could look at the vehicle. I was blindsided by Mr. Ovalle's estimated time to keep the truck versus what was stated by the person receiving the call. Mr. Ovalle showed no empathy and offered no alternatives. Mr. Ovalle did not call until late Monday afternoon (December 13) to speak on the Diagnostic Test result and the estimated cost. The test showed that the alternator and both battery cables needed replacing. The cost was staggering. Mr. Ovalle, however, claimed that price adjustments were possible. I gave my consent to the repairs. Late Tuesday afternoon, after no status update from Mr. Ovalle, l called the dealership. In that conversation, Mr. Ovalle stated that the vehicle would be ready in the evening. However, Mr. Ovalle later called to inform me that the technician noted that the starter was not good. He explained that since the area where the starter sits was still open, there would not be a labor charge if I consented to replace the starter. However, the part would not be available till the next day. I consented. But seriously questioned, if there was no issue discovered with the starter, how would the truck be ready for pick up within a matter of a few hours seeing how parts needed to be attached? Seeing how Mr. Ovalle does not provide status updates, I called the phone number listed on his card on Wednesday afternoon. Each time, my call went to voicemail. So, I called the dealership's number to reach the service department. To my surprise, Mr. Ovalle was off. The person who ended up helping me was unaware of any price adjustment quoted by Mr. Ovalle. Also, he was not informed about a promised Lift ride to the dealership when the vehicle was finally ready. Nor how I was having AAA replace the faulty battery after getting the truck home. From December 9 to December 15, far longer than expected, there was a need for other means of transportation. Little communication between Service Advisor and myself. The possible untruth that the vehicle may have been ready by Tuesday evening despite the available parts still not put in place. Seeing that he was off, there was no communication with someone regarding this open vehicle repair invoice. The Service Advisor and Service Department Manager made calls to Mr. Ovalle to obtain relative information.
