by Oldman on 05/22/2025I visited Reliable Chev 05/14/25 one week ago following a listing for a Ford Escape for $13692 plus TTL and doc fee with a Edmonds Rating of Good Buy. Test drive was good and satisfied so went to buy faze expecting a price of approx $15000… which I had banked for the purchase. SUV was not ready to leave as had a missing door handle and I requested another key with a Fob as was std equip as it had only one basic key. First surprise was additional Recon charge of $1877. argued why this was not in the ad price. Went to pay out and additional 28.29 for Dealer Inventory Tax and 28.75 for Govt and Emissions Fee ( not required in Grayson county) runaround and no response from David Williams (Msg left days ago) or other Mgt and nothing resolved though requested repeatedly. claim door fix is finally done today but several days too late. They have the car and my money - fed up - requested refund - I have never had the car in my posession no longer wish to have it or any to do with this dealer. Did not argue just wanted the Ad pricing! and a fully functional auto. Sr and vet feeling abused here! dont like the sales tactics and believe ad pricing should be accurate not misleading.Thank you for sharing your experience with us. by jfritz17 on 04/13/2025I came later than scheduled and they were very kind about my tardiness. It took a couple hours for the oil change and engine additives(?) to be complete. The woman who checked my in (Maria?) encouraged me to do the engine additives and I… have no regrets. My car does run smoother than it had been. The price quoted was a little higher than the actual price. Nice surprise.Thank you for sharing your experience! The people were friendly and did not try and press a sale. They were professional and friendly, answering any questions… making sure I understand everything about process and the truck I purchased. by JRSantos on 12/29/2022Have taken my 2020 truck to Reliable Chevrolet 3 times for the same thing and they are unable to repair it. At one time it stayed in the shop for over 2 months!! The truck is actually back again at the dealership for the same reason, we're… going on 2 more weeks now. If possible go elsewhere for your repairs.Great Service
