We had an excellent sales experience with the help of Claudio Lovo. He was extremely patient and reasonable, answering our many questions clearly and credibly, and offering terms that seemed fair compared to other dealership experiences elsewhere. The dealership should be commended for having Mr. Lovo on board. The loan manager was extremely knowledgeable, personable and credible in all respects.

    I had an exceptional experience at Lute Riley Honda, thanks to Mo, an outstanding sales representative. I was looking to upgrade from my Civic to a larger vehicle, and Mo expertly guided me towards the perfect choice - the Honda Pilot 2025. He patiently answered my numerous questions about the vehicle's features and leasing costs over three visits. Mo's regular follow-ups helped me make an informed decision without feeling pressured. Although my preferred model, the Pilot FWD in black, was unavailable at Lute Riley, Mo's exceptional customer service and patience convinced me to consider the AWD Pilot instead. I was so impressed with Mo's approach that I decided to either purchase from Lute Riley or wait for my preferred model to become available. Mo's generosity, customer service, and sales expertise ultimately led me to purchase the AWD Pilot. As a loyal Honda driver, I can attest that Mo is an excellent sales representative who will guide you through the process with ease. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a hassle-free car-buying experience.

    I worked with Javed Tarafder and he was amazing! He was very knowledgeable, professional and patient with me. When I picked up the car, he programmed everything thing with me, seats, audio, mirrors etc, I highly recommend him, he’s an expert on everything Honda. Thank you Javed

    I purchased a new Honda Odyssey and made arrangement for loan. After I took the car home and reviewed the document I found out that the loan rate was almost double than the sale manager promised me. I called back to the loan department several times and no one answered the phone. I left voice messages few times and no one returned my call. Also, the Android Auto is not working. I called the tech center and they couldn't help. They wanted to me to bring the new car to the service center. I needed to call back several times to get an appointment.

    I originally went to another dealer, but that dealer didn't have the right color. I found the right color at Lute Riley, walked in, did a test drive, negotiated a good deal, and was back out the door in a new Pilot in less than two hours.

    Had a great buying experience recently at Lute Riley Honda in Richardson, TX. Can’t say thanks enough to Chuck P, our salesman. We originally just wanted to check out the CR-V and HR-V because we are finally ready to downsize from a minivan. Chuck greeted us and gave us a chance to try out both and also listened to our needs as far as features and trim level. Once we tried both, we let Chuck know we had other makes to try and we exchanged information. Chuck was great very patient, kind, and was not pushy or negative about the other brands. Once we tried the others and decided on the CR-V, we called Chuck back and started the buying process. That went fairly easily as well. Of course there was some back and forth haggling, but overall, an easy process there as well and we believe we got a reasonable deal on a car she loves. Thanks again!

    The overall experience was good and the whole staff were pleasant to work with. Richard was a good sales rep. When we were discussing the price for the vehicle and trade-in they told me that they had put a protective coating on the inside of the vehicle and have some other insurance related cost that I didn’t want, but they automatically charge you for it. That was not a good way of doing business.

  • Disappointing Experience with Finance Department

    My recent experience with Lute Riley Honda's finance department was incredibly disappointing. Despite being assured of eligibility for special APR rates and discounts, I encountered numerous issues that left me feeling misled and undervalued as a customer. Prior to visiting the dealership, I was assured that I would be eligible for HONDA Finance Special APR rates listed as follows: 3.9% for 48 months, 4.9% for 60 months, or 5.9% for 72 months. Additionally, I received a comprehensive quote from another DFW Honda dealer that included these rates along with all applicable rebates and discounts. However, upon visiting Lute Riley Honda to finalize the deal on the evening of Friday, April 19th, several issues arose: Despite my requests, I was not provided with a final quote showing my monthly payments prior to my visit. This resulted in discrepancies regarding documentation fees upon arrival. Despite making a $2500 down payment over the phone to secure the deal, upon entering the finance office, I was informed that I could not receive the 3.9% APR rate alongside a $1000 rebate. Instead, I was offered an APR of 7.99%, significantly impacting my monthly payments. Despite my objections, the finance manager insisted on terms that were not previously communicated to me. He also stated that I could not finance less than $11,000, requiring a refund of my down payment. Although he agreed to adjust the amount to $10,515 due to a cashier's check I had already prepared, this adjustment further complicated the situation. When I called the manager, Mr. Ramos, about my bad finance experience, he dismissed my concerns, stating it was too late to make any changes and asked why I hadn't called him before signing. I was surprised by this response, as the finance person, Amin, had informed me that he had consulted with the manager and that the deal was made according to the manager's instructions. A few hours later, I sent an email to both the General Sales Manager (GSM) and General Manager (GM) with all the details listed above, but I received no response until today, May 4, 2024. As a long-term and loyal Honda customer with a credit score of 813, I expected better treatment and transparency throughout the financing process. Unfortunately, my experience fell far short of my expectations. I urge potential customers to exercise caution when dealing with Lute Riley Honda's finance department and to thoroughly review all terms and conditions before finalizing any deals.
