Great Experience
Truly exceptional buying experience
by txbd on 12/05/2018I have bought several new cars in Dallas/Plano area over the past 20 years - the latest on Black Friday 2018 buying a Porsche Macan, from Porsche Plano was the best experience singularly because of David Yoder. We bought our new 2018 Macan… in about 4 hours the first day we stepped in to the dealership on Black Friday - including test drives. That Porsche does not offer incentives has made David a miracle worker of sorts. David showed us cars with different trims, pros/cons of each and recommended the after market options which we bought. While I have worked with dealerships in other luxury brands over the years, David made the Porsche Plano experience special. David insists on us calling him with questions instead of checking the manual and even showed up at our house to make our old garage door work with the Porsche remote. If you are in the market for a Porsche or a similar brand, first see David and enjoy Suchi and Badri Devallaannual service
by Mike Jordan on 10/31/2018Took car in for 8:30 appt. rental was ready. Entire drop off experience took about 15 minutes. Isaac kept me informed of where they were in the process & my car had been washed & was ready when I went to pick it up. Cost estimate was to… the dollar. Don’t know how the experience could have been improved. But i Don't have that feature...
by NewFeature on 09/26/2018updated 10/04/2018My service adviser Jeff kept up selling me on services and I fell for it, until he offered me a calibration on my "lane deviation" feature that I don't have. When I told him I did not have the feature he assured me I did. Well... when I… picked up my car there was no "lane deviation" feature. I informed the Manager Aaron Woods. First he tried to tell me I was wrong and must have misunderstood. Good thing i have the voice mail my service adviser left me offering the calibration of my lane deviation . The manager said he would "investigate". It's been a week now. Must be a thorough investigation. Scam written all over this one. They got me for $2k.Belly rub of my baby
by 2ndLove on 10/01/2018Just had my 4 year service on my "Baby" and the process was very uneventful. Issac was a dream, so pleasant and communicative.Road Hazard
by autonation on 09/03/2018As always, called Devin with a problem and he had the resources and parts ready when I arrived. Problem solved. Not a good Service Experience
by johnworley77 on 08/06/2018I purchased a 2017 Cayenne from this dealership last fall and had a good experience with the salesman - Josh. I must say that I went into my first Porshe purchase expecting to have a superb customer service experience, but from there it… went downhill fast. First a rat got into the engine compartment and bit through a wire and it was giving me weird warning lights. When I took it in they said it would cost $1,800 to replace the harness as it was not covered by warranty. I asked them to send me a picture and quickly could see that it was just one wire, which I asked them to repair, not replace the whole harness. They would not do it, so I told them to do nothing and took it home and fixed it myself in less than 10 minutes for nothing. The wire that was chewed in two had been stuffed far back up into the bundle of 50 or so wires, so it was hidden from view, which I did not appreciate. I complained to the service dept, the customer service dept, and ultimately wrote a letter to the Manager of the dealership explaining my frustrations and offering to come meet and discuss it. Never heard a word from him. Next, I had a glancing collision with the corner of a curb near George Bush which blew out 2 tires. Thank God I bought the $1,800 tire protection package. Oooopps! Does not cover hitting a curb. So I complained and requested to cancel the policy and get a refund. They agreed, but now 8 weeks later, I don't have the refund and Suzanne, the woman who sold me the policy (from Auto Nation) has not responded to my last e-mail, sent a month ago. Update to the Tire policy refund. After I posted this negative review on a few sites, I got a quick call from the Manager of the dealership, but all he could say was that it is their policy to replace any part that is not working, no matter how easily repaired. He did request that I send all the emails documenting my problems with the service department and then on the policy refund, which I sent several weeks ago and then never heard anything further. Meanwhile, I still did not receive the refund from the Tire policy and it is now 12 weeks. A new person, Nichole emailed me that a check had been sent to my home address 2 weeks before, and that if I had not received it they would stop payment and re-issue. I said I had not received it and she said she would get it that afternoon and FedEx it to me and send me the tracking number. 5 days later I emailed to find out where the tracking information was and she said, oh yes, let me check on that and then emailed back that they could not make payment directly to me because there was a loan. I said fine just send payment to the bank and tell them to credit the loan and notify me. 2 weeks later, I check online and find that there is no payment. Although there was a payment a month ago that was reversed because payment was stopped on the check. Soooo they sent the payment to the bank even though they specifically emailed me with a check # and my home address. I know this is confusing and long, so I will just stop and say that no one I have dealt with beyond the initial salesman seems to have a clue or care, so if you buy a car there, dont expect much after the sale is closed. I am due for my 20K service and checked to see what is included and what it costs. Not much and $1,100. I checked with Kwik Kar and they will do the same things including changing all the filters (air and a/c) and flush the brake system for $350. Hmmmm - what to do? No question there I will save $750 and not have to leave my car for a day at a dealership in which I have no confidence. My new Macan
by Macan lover on 07/01/2018Great customer service and very knowledgeable sales personnel!Incredible experience
by LADinDALLAS on 02/08/2018From the moment we walked in the door we felt welcome and respected. We were focused on purchasing a Macan but needed guidance to determine the specific model. David was very extremely helpful showing us the differences and similarities...… and amazingly patient in tracking down the exact configuration we chose in the end. We truly felt welcomed into the family as he introduced us to various members of the staff and showed us the facility.Quality parts, poor service
by Jesseleeweaver on 12/04/2017So there is a dilemma with my follow-up. Porsche replaced the starter and the car fires up crisp everytime, which is really nice. I give that 5/5 stars for that, for the right diagnosis. However, the service should really get 0/5 stars.… Actually, negative stars if it was a choice. There was a giant communication issue between Jeff and I. What he heard, and what I tried to convey were two different things. I had three other issues another dealership is fixing when I bought the car. However, I believe I clearly stated if it is covered under the warranty, they are welcome to fix it. (Extra money right?) I was not sure if it was covered under my warranty, but Jeff assured me it is his job to find out. Not stating he had to do a diagnosis first, which is at my cost. Odd, because I told him the exact issue with the car. I know from the dealership I bought it from. However, I lived 6 hours from it. Convenience eh? Second, Jeff stated I was missing a sub-frame piece #987 331 161 05, which he stated is a hazard/unsafe if was missing. He said I would have to sign a form saying I am driving the car knowing it is unsafe, since the part is missing. I never sign this document, nor do not have this to show the original dealership i bought it from. Then the day when I went to pick it up, I was called early in the morning and told it was fixed/ready to go, but was not told until I arrived they needed payment from the warranty company prior. ALSO, I was charged for two diagnostic fees, which I paid because I did want my car. However, I got my car at 5;30pm. I did write two emails to address my concerns to the service manager Aaron Woods and Mike Marsh. Aaron was prompt on responding, but I believe there was a communication issue with him/not on the same understanding. He kept stating his technician needs to get paid, but he said if it pleases me he would refund one diagnostic charge. Both should have been refunded. EVEN WORSE, and this is a giant PROBLEM. Mike Marsh called me, starting talking, and then stated "he needs to look into it, [and] he would call me back". He NEVER did. Like I reviewed, the parts department has been great. The service department is HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. My experience was poor here.Excellent experience

by pitr256 on 04/11/2017With many car dealers you feel like you come away with covered in slime, always feeling something dirty just happened. But it was completely different with Porsche of Plano. I came away grinning from ear to ear. The car had something to do… with it but overall experience added to the smile too. I was surprised at how much the staff seemed to exude interest and love for Porsches and their customers. I never felt pressured or that they were hiding something. They were very upfront and patient. They knew this was a big decision for me and wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied. And I was! Highly recommend Porsche of Plano. Great staff, Collin and Sam were amazing. Great facilities. If you are in the market to get a Porsche in Dallas, this is the place to go.Thank you so much for your feedback. by D2Texas on 09/06/2016My salesman, Neil, and the internet manager, Mark, made the decision easy. They worked together, even though I made contact separately, and helped me decide on which Cayenne to purchase. My internet/Edmunds price quote was immediately… honored by Mark, and Neil made me aware of special leasing incentives on the eHybrid. All in all, a good buyer experience.car repair
