Porsche Plano
Dealership Service Review
So there is a dilemma with my follow-up. Porsche replaced the starter and the car fires up crisp everytime, which is really nice. I give that 5/5 stars for that, for the right diagnosis. However, the service should really get 0/5 stars. Actually, negative stars if it was a choice. There was a giant communication issue between Jeff and I. What he heard, and what I tried to convey were two different things. I had three other issues another dealership is fixing when I bought the car. However, I believe I clearly stated if it is covered under the warranty, they are welcome to fix it. (Extra money right?) I was not sure if it was covered under my warranty, but Jeff assured me it is his job to find out. Not stating he had to do a diagnosis first, which is at my cost. Odd, because I told him the exact issue with the car. I know from the dealership I bought it from. However, I lived 6 hours from it. Convenience eh? Second, Jeff stated I was missing a sub-frame piece #987 331 161 05, which he stated is a hazard/unsafe if was missing. He said I would have to sign a form saying I am driving the car knowing it is unsafe, since the part is missing. I never sign this document, nor do not have this to show the original dealership i bought it from. Then the day when I went to pick it up, I was called early in the morning and told it was fixed/ready to go, but was not told until I arrived they needed payment from the warranty company prior. ALSO, I was charged for two diagnostic fees, which I paid because I did want my car. However, I got my car at 5;30pm. I did write two emails to address my concerns to the service manager Aaron Woods and Mike Marsh. Aaron was prompt on responding, but I believe there was a communication issue with him/not on the same understanding. He kept stating his technician needs to get paid, but he said if it pleases me he would refund one diagnostic charge. Both should have been refunded. EVEN WORSE, and this is a giant PROBLEM. Mike Marsh called me, starting talking, and then stated "he needs to look into it, [and] he would call me back". He NEVER did. Like I reviewed, the parts department has been great. The service department is HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. My experience was poor here.
