Straight shooters

After having some pretty terrible experiences at other dealerships while looking for a suburban, Valmark made it an easy and transparent process. They really did a lot to build… trust, never came off as pushy, and were super responsive. I will absolutely be buying from them again in the future.

by Leliee0326 on 12/19/2022I ordered a vehicle months ago, went in and revieed my order with the sales guy to confirm everything was correct and when my order arrived I was the one that noticed features were missing. They told me they couldn't do anything about it… and I would have to reorder. I have a baby on the way so that's not an option for me. Plus interest rates from GM doubld since we ordered. Not only that, the financing guy messed up when he set everything up and had to run our credit a second time and change us from GM to Capital one to keep our rebate. The attention to detail is extremely disappointing. I am honestly sick over the whole experience.Ripped off at Valmark Chevrolet in New Braunfels, Texas.

by rattler99 on 11/30/2011updated 09/03/2025After test driving the car and having the folks look at my trade in, we were given a sales quote that was better than another dealer. The salesman was extremely friendly and courteous to me and my family. The whole process was pretty quick… and painless. I was impressed with the swiftness of the deal, but that all came to a crashing halt when I spoke with the finance manager. I had already received pre-approval from my financial institution and was curious to see what the dealership would provide. After receiving the % from the finance manager, I asked if they could do better than that and was told "no" very quickly. I went ahead and stated that I'll just need a purchase order and will go with my bank. Immediately after saying that, the tone and demeanor of the finance manager changed from pleasant to annoyed. I was seriously expecting the finance manager to want to meet or beat my bank's rate. She made no effort whatsoever to earn my business. Overall, dealing with Don was pleasant, but once I spoke with finance manager, it made the final process sour.
