Some dealers do it and some don’t. This is really hurting the buyer is not… reasonable when GM is sending out vehicles that aren’t even completely assembled yet with all parts and or chips. Other than that, my experience was good simply because my salesman was great.Oil change

by Rockysmts on 02/27/2020I was pressured and lied into buying a vehicle I expressed I didn't want but was told that is the only vehicle I could be put into. I was told the vehicle I requested could not be found at our payment level. When I spoke with salesman the… next day after the purchase and expressed that I was very unhappy, he said sorry but the car has already been funded. I begged could we return the vehicle and get my trade back or could they look at other dealerships to find what we want. He said if I had 3000 down. I called the dealership spoke to general salesman and he said hey you were here all that day( because I didn't want that car but kept getting pressure even tried to leave and say let me sleep on it) I said can we get me in something I want and take it back. He said no car had been funded!!! I called GM financial and found out I was lied to. It had not been funded at the time they said it was. I have sent numerous emails asking to rectify this and they won't answer any of the emails. Supposedly a family owned operation, don't fall for that. No one has contacted me and they Chevy would be calling to do a review. Funny never got that call. I would still love to be put into a vehicle we want but I know they don't care to this. They can't even reply to an email.Professional and friendly

by sdousley on 10/12/2009I have used Dow Autoplex to service my vehicles for nearly ten years and couldn't be more satisfied. I have also purchased two cars there, but my experiences with the service department have been the absolute best. Through the years I… have had many auto repairs performed at Dow on various vehicles. Nearly every time the quote for the repair has been higher than the actual repair, which is much better than the alternative. They have always been honest with me. In my experience it is rare to find an auto repair business that doesn't try to take advantage of women. In April of this year I purchased a 2009 Chevy HHR at this dealership which was "slightly" used (11,200 miles). The remaining GM "bumper-to-bumper" warranty still applied - up to 36,000 miles. In September during hard rains the front passenger-side floorboard became soaked with water. When I took it in to the service department, I learned the windshield wasn't sealed properly, and that it was not a GM factory windshield so the GM warranty would not cover having the winshield removed and re-sealed. Roger in the service department was able to get this taken care of for me at no charge, since I was unaware at the time of purchase that the windshield had been replaced. I highly recommend the service department at Dow Autoplex. They will always treat you right....best buying experience ever
by neborntxproud on 05/09/2008I was in the market for a new truck, I had just had it with the dealerships in my area. I called my brother and he had a friend who's dad sold cars at Dow Autoplex in Mineola, Texas. I called him (Michael S.) and told him I what I was… looking for and exactly how much I wanted to spend. He asked me to come in and look at the inventory, but I work nights and was unable to make the drive since I had to work that night. He put me on hold and went to look at the inventory, when he got back on the phone he told me what he had and what the prices were, I was shocked, as the prices were under edmunds.com inventory pricing. I told him I was interested and wanted to see it, we agreed to meet half way so I could see the truck and test drive it. I did buy it a few days later, but was unable to pick it up as I had to work that night, so Michael and another gentleman drove the truck over 50 miles to my house. I have never had such a wonderful buying experience, I felt no pressure, and never felt like I was being taken. As many women consumers know, buying a vehicle can be a daunting task. I have repeated my experience to many people hoping they to would do business with Dow, and hoping their buying experience was just as good as mine.
