2022 Trail Boss purchase
by Wilkinson on 07/22/2022I just didn't feel like the follow up and coordination was good on a couple of upgrades I had done. Sales staff is unresponsive and I was promised a tint upgrade at my expense only for them to tell me it was already done to the legal… limit. No follow up, thanks or call to see if everything was satisfactory. Not much customer service.😍

by TangoSierra1 on 01/17/2021Took a long, long time to fin a Tahoe with the specs we wanted. They searched out for hundreds of miles to no avail. Then right after the don uses ran out one appeared, and cam from a dealer in the area. We asked for floor liners, still not… in after a week. Our trade-in has not been paid off which is costing us money each day in car payments and insurance since it is still not paid off. So lots to be unhappy about. THE ONE SHINING LIGHT WAS THE SALESPERSON. SHE DID EVERYTHING SHE COULD TO MAKE IT SMOOTH AND PLEASANT.Open recall - Safety related issue
by El Dorado Chevy McKinney on 12/30/2020You are welcome for the undeserved one star, lets just imagine there is a minus in front of that rating and we are good. I experience with El Dorado Chevrolet started due to the open recall on a safety related issue with the power… steering. As this vehicle is my sons first car learning how to drive and already knowing of the open recall we decided out of an abundance of caution to take the vehicle to El Dorado Chevrolet to have this issue looked at and either fixed or ruled out. Turned out the issue was not the part covered under the open recall however it was tied to the power steering but the only way to be certain this error being displayed on the dash was not related to the open recall was to take it to the stealership to confirm, due to a safety related concern we though this was the most prudent decision. The service rep who helped us at first was affable however, once presented with the other fix (and quite frankly the fix was more than the cars worth) I politely declined. After giving it some though I reached back out to the service advisor to request they waive the diagnostic fee due to the open recall and the safety concern with this party failing and the loss of steering, the guy was not only unwilling to even discuss it but also smug. Look, at the end of the day $100.00 won't break me but it just didn't feel right that the only way I could rule out an open recall that involved a total loss of steering was to take it to the stealership. Lesson learned, the funny thing is that we will be in the market to purchase another vehicle soon however, I can assure you it will NOT be from El Dorado Chevrolet.Mike V.

by Jerry on 11/18/2018We had been searching for a great used car under $10,000 dollars for our 17 year old son, we had looked at Eldorados used lot but we didn’t see anything that caught the eye so we searched on the lot in Sherman and found a 2013 nissan altima… loaded with all the bells and whistles for a little more than what we wanted to pay so they went and picked the car up for us which was about a hour away got it all ready not knowing if we were even going to buy the car for sure...They did all of this in just hours of us telling them we were interested in the vechicle. Brian Mace and manger Jason Lawing were absolute wonderful to work with out of the new car lot at Eldorado. They came down on the price so we were comfortable with what we were paying and the finance dept was such a beeeze to go thru. We decided on the car and a hour later our 17 year old was driving off the lot. We would highly recommend them and if they don’t have something on there lot they will go it! The extended warranty they offer is a great choice as well, it covers everything and honestly it didn’t raise the payment a crazy amount. They do inspect there cars from top to bottom or the car wouldn’t be on there lot it would go to auction but with a used car you can never be to careful but this car is very CLEAN, I was super impressed actually for how clean it is with it being a 2013.Jonathan Clayton is the best!

He was very easy to work with and we feel that we made a fair and honest deal with Eldirado Chevrolet because of Jonathan. He didn't pressure or hard sell us, instead he treated us… with respect and listened to our perspective. He's the one of the top car dealers with whom we have ever interacted. Gus in finance was also very helpful. Overall, our experience at Eldirado was a positive one and we will rely on Jonathan in the future for all of our car needs!!Great experience!!!

My salesman was awesome Haytham Awadi, I told him what I wanted and where I want my payment to be and he made it happen. by chiefan on 04/06/2016The worst new car sales purchase I ever experienced. I had to fire my salesman due to lack of communication and terrible customer service. After that I was pawned off to several sales people to help complete the sale. Very disorganized and… poor management is what I experienced. If it wasn't due to that particular vehicle that caught my eye I would of taken my business else where. I've been yelled at and disrespected right on the showroom floor by two different sales managers. BUYERS BEWAREFinance guy needs to go..treats you like crap

I asked him to hurry up, we have the kids waiting on us, he got upset. He then quizzed us about who were… were. [violative content deleted] we are your [violative content deleted] Customer!! Kept talking about Jail, and fraud and what a good cop he was.Great Job
by RandyHoll on 12/03/2008I bought a car back in march...When I walked on the lot..just like all the other dealers, I figured that I would be trampled by sales people. They let me look around for a few minutes and then ask if they may be of help?They didn't… overwhelm me with inate questions before we found a car... Wow sombody was really interested in my needs. With out boring you on the whole deal...it was the best time I have ever had in buying...I have since sent a couple of friends there and will not buy anywhere else...By the way had to take the car in for a problem with the A/C...another good job...Less than Awesome Experience
by jdkx2 on 01/10/2008I urge anyone doing business with El Dorado to listen carefully to every word and carefully review the contracts. Buying the vehicle was a tedious, all-day affair that should have been accomplished in a very short time. There were no… credit issues. There were no price issues. There were double speak issues. I stayed and I bought because it was the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. I wanted a lease, I was trading in a lease, I always lease but that was not good enough for them. They wanted to hustle something else that was, according to them, in my best interests considering my situation. They had no idea what my situation was so how could they know what is best? When we finally got to the the finance office the very nice F&I fellow stated they liked to "give" a maintenance agreement to all of their customers. I thought this was right neighborly of them - nice texas boys. Unfortunately I did not read the contract as well as I should have and discovered the following day that give meant I paid for it. I wrote to the dealership owner cancelling the agreement and asking for my money back. I never heard from the owner of the dealership. I heard from lackeys who promised things but only delivered "checks lost in the mail". After 3 months of this nonsense I filed a complaint with the BBB, the Texas State Attorney General and GM Corporate.We may not be hearing the whole story...Just my thought
Awesome Experience!

I had to haggle over a few days, but we got an awesome deal, plus they got us financed at 1.9% with GMAC when Toyota wanted to give us 16%.… Both my salesman and the finance guy were very nice and professional. I will definately go back to El Dorado.I have heard more positive than negative. That tells me that I have a good chance coming away a happy and satisfied customer. That is a rare find these days and I hope to have a similar experience looking for a jeep wrangler.

Outstanding service, Happy customer

At 190,000 I had a new (not rebuilt) transmission installed and had some trouble with it just the other day. It was under warranty… and my service consultant put me in a new Tahoe to drive and they fixed mine good as new and had it back to me the next day.
