  • Not a trustworthy dealership

    Worst dealership experience with sales. Promised me security features existed on the new vehicle I was purchasing, only to find out after purchase that those didn't exist. When asked them, they simply came back saying its in documents we provided you. So you really have to read every single word of all the documents they provide otherwise you can't trust them. Also called VW customer care, they simple forward the complain to dealership and nothing more. When asked they just said, they go by whatever the dealership does, VW company didn't care what their dealership is doing. Lost trust with VW. This was my second VW and was replacing old VW. but Not in future. Can't trust their dealerships or the company if they dont support customers.

    Was in the show room to purchase a used vehicle on the first of May! Specifically a used 2005 BMW Z4. From the moment I arrived things seemed to go downhill! First question I received before a hearty hello was "what type of vehicle your driving?" I thought this a strange greeting from an Ashley! After she summoned a Jamell he raised his hand an shook mines saying "what type of car u drove in today?" Now this was too much too soon so I said I have cash to purchase the car because I researched it an found it to be a good second car! Ashley said she had to have my drivers license when all I was doing was standing on the lot! She suggested the test drive! I wanted the car! Jamell returned with my license an he again asked to point to my car! I politely said no thanks took back my license an left! Be very leery of there practice they attempt to size up up by looks an to me that's very disrespectful! They missed a cash sale! Oh by the way I drive a new Mercedes

    Eric, the sales manager, was persistent and forthright in dealing with my family as we sought to purchase a Tiguan. He never gave up as he remained very flexible in making the deal work for both parties, so long as we gave him what we were looking for. I have shopped for a lot of cars in my life, so I know when a sales manager is not being truthful.

    I got a great deal on a VW GTI but they were missing a keyless remote for the car. I was told it should take approximately a week or two. I called back a month later and was told to come in to get it. I came in and was told they couldn't find it and needed to order another one. I came in again and they said I needed to program it but that the programmer was gone for the day. Really, I don't like to think of myself as an impatient person but I live approximately 30 minutes away. How can these people be so inconsiderate? I'm not looking for any freebies. I would like only what they offered me to begin with.

    My husband and I recently bought a new car from Momentum VW. We originally began shopping at another dealer, but weren't pleased with the service. A trip to Momentum was a pleasant surprise; Jason, the salesman who greeted us as we entered was friendly and happy to ride around town for a good 45 minutes while we test drove. During most of the ride we were asking very specific questions ('How often does the Clean Blue need to be added?" "Can you tell us about the 40,000 mile maintenance?") and not only was Jason a good sport, he was able to answer the questions with confidence. We liked the car, but the color we wanted wasn't available locally. Jason worked with a dealer near Dallas to have our car shipped to the Houston location. we got a good deal on the car, and there wasn't a big push to sell us additional items. The folks were honest and friendly. I highly recommend this dealership.

    Overall, a very good experience. They had a good inventory of vehicles, I had a nice test drive and selected what I wanted. No pressure or hassle. When they presented an offer to me it was actually very fair. I pushed for a better deal and they made it even better. The sales rep was good, the finance person was okay, and the sales manager was excellent, and even remembered my name when I returned a few weeks later to have my license plates fitted. My only complaint was that the process took a little too long, but then it was a weekend, and they had to grab the vehicle from their sister dealer across town. I suspect if I had been less picky on the color and chose a vehicle from their stock it would have been quicker. Bottom line is that buying a car can be a pain in the butt. The silly games, the tricks they try to use to rip you off. But I didn't feel like they were playing games at all. Which either means they were not, or their games were so cunning I couldn't detect them! Seriously though, I've bought a lot of new cars, and this experience was easy and hassle free. They gave me a very fair price for my trade (higher than KBB or Black Book said it was worth). They didn't even play that game where they criticize the trade and make excuses as to why they can't pay very much for it. They offered me a fair trade in price, and even bumped it up some more when I asked them to. As to the new car, it was perfectly detailed, looked amazing, still is amazing, and I got it for a very fair price too. When I went back some weeks later to have the license plates put on, everything was no hassle, polite and with attention to detail, even down to very carefully putting my window tag on so that it lined up perfectly with the state inspection sticker. It's a smooth and polished operation, and they actually seem to care about providing a good experience. Based on my experience, I would certainly shop there again or recommend the dealership to others. If only buying a car was always this straightforward.

    This was a smooth transaction done almost completely by telephone. The price was fair and when I went to pick up my vehicle they had me out in less than an hour! I am a very busy person so I appreciated the speed and efficiency.
