Bad Dealership

onWhere do I start...We reserved our 2023 Q7 11/26/22 with a 1K deposit. We were excited and impatient in some ways as it wasn't supposed to arrive between 1/5/23 - 1/15/23. Anticipating and excited about this car, I even tracked the vessel it was on as I work in the maritime industry. Come Saturday, 1/7/23 I get an email from Audi titled "The Wait is Over". I knew the vehicle arrived that day as the vessel had docked that morning. So Monday 1/9/23 roles around, knowing and respecting that our salesman was on vacation, we call Audi West to see or know if the vehicle was actually on the lot to make sure it was the right color & we wanted to test drive it. The person on the phone at the time said it was there. Tuesday rolls around, 1/10/23, I called Audi West to say my wife will come by to see the vehicle, the Salesman (not sure who this person's name was) said come on by. So my wife leaves work early and arrives at Audi West, and long story short...they sold our vehicle to someone else. Our Salesman (not naming anyone) at the time we reserved the vehicle was great. I have no quarrels with our Salesman as he was out on a much deserved vacation, I do have issues with upper management/other personnel at Audi West as to how they let this happen, selling a vehicle we reserved to someone else. This was supposed to be my wife's Christmas gift but it all got shattered this day, 1/10/23. I'm sure there are positive reviews / experiences by others at this dealership...but i wanted to write this to let others know as well as Audi West how immoral this was. We will be contacting the BBB and Audi Corporate on our experience.

onI made contact with the dealership at 11AM inquiring if the vehicle displayed online was still available. I was informed at 11:23AM by Mr. Samir Khatib that the vehicle indeed was available. I informed Mr. Samir that I was very interested in purchasing the vehicle that same day & wanted to immediately get started with the application via online to gain the approval. I was upfront with Mr. Samir and expressed that me & my husband was currently at work & that we had no interest in sitting at the dealership for hours. Mr. Samir explained that it was no problem and that the process was as simply as gaining the approval, then checking out the vehicle once we got off work. I stayed in communication with Mr. Samir throughout the whole day, providing him with me & my husband's personal information and all needed documents. I received a telephone call from the financing bank to confirm me & my husband's identity & was informed by the finance company that the approval was secure & that they would be notifying the dealership of this information. (Mind you) at this time I'm still in active communication with Mr. Samir in regard to the vehicle. I expressed to Mr. Samir at 6:15PM that my husband was getting off work and that we would be in route short to check the vehicle out. Mr. Samir responded, "Okay sounds good". While in route to the dealership, I received a text message from Mr. Samir stating "Hi Jamayne, I just finished with a client and another sales guy sold the A4. I might have another one similar to this". Confused, baffled, unprofessional, and very bad for business! I was approval for the vehicle, so why was me as a customer not taken seriously? Was it because were African American gay men in the market to purchase an Audi? Why were we not allowed to purchase this vehicle with a secure approval? Why is there lack of communication at this dealership where another salesman can underhandedly sell the same vehicle that has already been sold to another customer who has an approval and is in route for checkout with the vehicle? Once I arrived at the dealership, I overserved the vehicle in question still at the dealership. [non-permissible content removed] (who claimed he was the manager.... who I don't believe was the manager) expressed..."We don't hold vehicles around here because our inventory is very low...first come first served". I explained to him that no one asked you to hold a vehicle because Mr. Samir expressed at 11:23AM that the vehicle was still available, and I supplied you with all of my personal information & the approval has been secured by the financing company. The so-call manager calmly sat back in his seat & expressed that there was nothing that he was going to do to make this right. Even that the right thing that he should have done was show the new customers the same other A4 that he was trying to sell me after the fact & give me the vehicle that I secure an approval for. I'm highly education, clearing over 6 figures a year, with buyer's credit! I also have many years of experience as a finance director at a major car dealership in the Houston area, so I'm very familiar at how the car buying process work. I also have a statement e-mailed over from the finance company expressing to me the secured financing approval. I'm very disappointed that Mr. Samir and his "so-called manager" (who I later find out wasn't his manager) wasted my time & still has all of my valuable personal information. I know that this is not the values and morals that Audi West Houston stand for & I will continue to climb every platform possible until I can receive the correct information needed to address why African American gay individuals who are qualified not granted the right to purchase vehicles at Audi West Houston. Enjoyable New Audi Purchase

onI contacted Audi West Houston via their website. Stephen Reed, their Internet Sales Director, corresponded with me giving information and answering my questions. He also remained in touch ready to help while I was considering various New Audi models. I told Stephen I would reach out when ready to move forward. Several weeks later, I made an unscheduled visit to Audi West Houston dealership. Cyrus Pope, Audi Brand Specialist, assisted me while I window shopped. He asked sensible questions and on my request showed me all the new and pre-owned vehicles in stock. He drove me around on a golf cart through out the dealer lot. From there, I ended up liking a new vehicle. Stephen picked up on my presence and he & Cyrus collaborated to help me strike a purchase deal. Stephen was very helpful, constantly in contact, assisted throughout the buying process, including finding the best solutions to conclude my car purchase. Stephen has also been actively following my new car purchase including helping me find the accessories I wanted. Overall, I great experience with Stephen @ the Audi West Houston team. Thank you!~~

onI just purchased a new A8L from Audi West Houston and had a wonderful experience with Christian and Billy in Sales, to Curtis in Finance and Scotty and Richard in Service. This is my third Audi that I have owned and have always received excellent Service and Support from Audi West Houston. I find that buying a car is easy, it’s what they do after the sale that counts. I have had excellent service and support from them. Scotty is my Service Advisor and knows his stuff. Always friendly and will do everything possible to ensure a satisfactory visit. Christian in sales did a great job working with me and made my purchase easy. Without a doubt I highly recommend buying your new Audi from the Audi West Houston team!

Worst Experience Ever!

onThis morning I had a horrible experience at Audi West. Truth be told, I have visited every Audi dealership in Houston and this one by far has been my worst experience. I saw an advertised price for a 2018 Q5. I arrived early, test drove the car, and wanted to purchase the car only to be told that the advertised price was an error on the receptionist part. My sales representative Shawn was nothing but nice! However, in speaking to the general manager, he more or less told me "take it or leave it". To be honest, the discrepancy was less than $3000, $2493 to be exact. So although I was upset and truly felt that the dealership should honor the price, I was more so appalled at how the general manager was speaking to me. He was speaking to me in a manner as though he was doing me a favor by offering the vehicle above the advertised price. He told me they were correcting the mistake and would have it corrected within minutes. However, its STILL advertised at the price I came in for! So although I felt we could of reached a mutual agreement, I would rather go to ANY other dealership than Audi West to do business. In all my years of owing a luxury vehicle I've never been spoken to or treated in this manner. I actually seek out and buy luxury vehicles for the luxury experience! But the general manager needs more training on how to treat customers no matter what!

Worst Car buying experience ever

onStay away from this dealership especially from Mr. Donyell Livingston. I had an absolutely worst car buying experience ever... Mr. Donyell is nothing but [non-permissible content removed] dressed up in suit. After negotiating and finalizing the price with us, he sold the same Audi Q7 to a different customer while we were waiting for the paper work to be completed. These guys has no ethics and do not care about any of their customers. All they care about is how much they can squeeze your money. We were not expecting this from a Audi dealership and were highly disappointed.

Bait and Switch

onAn unethical, bait and switch company. Donât believe the advertised prices. Once you go in they quickly claim the price as âa mistakeâ and try to entice you with some garbage (much higher) offer. To compound the issue, the misleading price is still posted on the web for other bait and switch suckers. Avoid this dealership at all costs. I will never be back.

onI purchase my Audi Q7 on April 13, 2013 at the Audi West Dealership through Raymond Williams, the Audi Branch Specialist Salesperson. Mr. Williams was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly throughout the sales process. Recognition is also given to other persons involved in the sales such as; Shaun Hannon, Audi Branch Specialist who initially show me some of the inventory and answered some of my questions. Another person who also deserves recognition is Mr. Mark Sahagun, the Finance Manager who guide me through the financial process, without which, I wouldn't be able to purchase the car. I can certainly say that Audi West count with an outstanding staff that really makes possible for an excellent professional buying experience. onWe just purchased a CPO Audi A4 from West Houston Audi. When we first came to the lot, no one came out to help us. This might seem bad, but we don't like the 'vultures' at other dealerships. We were helped fairly quickly when we went inside to inquire about a vehicle. We talked about what they had available, then we test drive the one we liked the most. We decided to see what they were willing to sell it for. After we agreed on a price, they offered to get another look at financing options, even though I was already approved through my bank. They were very close to matching my interest rate, so we went with them, in order to drive off the lot that day. We signed the paperwork and were on our way! We asked if they would throw in a key chain, and they happily agreed to! When all was said and done, from the time we got there to the time we left, it only took 2-1/2 hours. Very pleased with the experience!

onMy husband and I are very happy with the experience we had this past Saturday at Audi West. Our salesman James Watt, was so accommodating, patient, energetic, and very very helpful. He actually walked the lot with us going through each vehicle to allow us the time needed to decide on an interior, and exterior color. James did all this with a smile on his face all the time. Daren G. (one of the managers) was also so very helpful; he worked with us as very well, asking us specific questions, being honest and open about what he could do to help us out (the experience was surreal) since this was our second Q5 and we went in with very specific specs. Daren and James received us with open arms, they were with us each step of the way, listened to all our requirements, and made it happen for us. We are so happy with the experience; we left the dealership with two new friends: Daren and James! Undoubtedly, this was more than a mere transaction; it was the making of a very wonderful long-term relationship. We already know what our 3rd car will be and where we are going when the time comes; meanwhile, we are enjoying our beautifully made Q5!!
