    Richard Ancheta greeted me when I drove into the service area and went over everything with ne and estimated the service which actually turned out to be a little less when the bill was presented. He was nice, friendly, and knowledgeable about the service that was needed for my Lincoln MKX.

    I brought my 2015 MKZ in for the regularly scheduled maintenance. The maintenance was completed in a timely manner and the service department washed and vacuumed my vehicle prior to me picking it up.

    Richard took care of me from start to finish. I had intended to ask about doing a state inspection. He came to the parking lot, as I was getting ready to leave, to see if I wanted him to take care of it for me. He noticed that my license plate was expiring next month. He later called me to ask if I wanted to go ahead and do some of my recommended service work that will be coming up soon. Richard is a great asset to the dealership! Very pleased with my overall experience with David McDavid.

    I purchased my first David McDavid Lincoln in 2011 because I wanted to try a Hybrid and I liked the MKZ's features. I purchased my second Lincoln from David McDavid Lincoln in 2015 because of the treatment I had received in their Service Department. My experience with them was I always received first class treatment, from the work performed, cost involved and the consideration of my time. The best cars in the world are lemons if you can't get them serviced without a hassle.

  • Extras on the Oil Change

    Took 2011 MKT for oil change. This was done to satisfaction. However other problems were found and documented. Price for the proposed repairs was over $1700. Took the vehicle for a second opinion and was told one fix, McDavid estimate of $525.56, was not necessary. Another repair was both control arms and bushings when only the bushings, available separate from the control arm, needed to be replaced. Another item was a front strut which was quoted. While only one was leaking it would have been best to replace both, they both had 86,000 miles. While I prefer going to the dealer for most things and David McDavid has treated me well in the past I have learned to get other estimates for large repairs. I would still recommend this dealer with caveats. I paid a fair price for the services performed.

    Scott is my service advisor. Always courteous and helpful. Waiting area is comfortable and pleasant. My car is always fixed right and returned clean and ready to go.

    Edmund helped me to have my Oil Change done and make sure my car got cleaned properly. He went the extra mile to get my inside windshield cleaned. Thank you Edmund! You made my day, going the extra mile!

    Steve Koulos is the most wonderful service manager we have ever had and we will probably stay with that Lincoln dealership when we buy our next car if he is still with them. Service there, because of Steve Koulos is professional, patient and kind. It may cost more than other places for an oil change, but because of Steve it is worth it.

    I took my car in about 9AM for my 9:15 appointment for regularly scheduled service. I think they call it 'The Works'! By 10:20 my car was ready and had been both washed and vacuumed. I had a nice latte and did a few puzzles while I waited. The service on my vehicle was all completed along with a 21 point inspection. It was a completely satisfactory experience in every way.

    I brought in my Lincoln MKS to purchase a second key fob. The dealership charged me for the new key fob and $300 for the time to program it. They said the process was approximately 1 hour for the programming to take place. 1st visit: they could not get the key to program. I was asked to leave the car for the full day the next day and they would program it. I was asked to pay the full bill after the 1st visit which I did. At the end of the 2nd day, the key was still not programmed and I was told the issue is with my car, not the key fob. I'm not questioning the diagnosis, but upon learning I needed to spend another $800+ I did not want/need the 2nd key fob. When I asked to refund the invoice, I was offered $187 return for a $500+ bill. Having said that, I had my car in service on Nov 27 & 28. I did not realize the inspection sticker expired on Nov 30. So.... My car was in the dealership's possession for a full day and no one noticed my inspection was expiring in a couple of days. I am disappointed because: 1. The dealership offered a refund that is unacceptable to me. 2. Unlike dealerships that offer better service, this one didn't notice my registration and inspection were days from expiration. I would have been grateful if the service department had a simple checklist for service needs that would have identified this. Given that I had to leave the car there all day, I expect more from a brand dealership.

    I am always recognized and treated like I am the only customer. I had almost $1000 worth of services and was informed of the prices of each service. My SA, Richard, kept in contact with me constantly regarding time of completion. Conception, one of the bay attendants, helped me when I showed up early and Richard was gone. Although, it's not his job, he knew the status of my vehicle. The waiting area is gorgeous, clean and comfortable. Thanks DMD!

    I sent an email to the service department, received a call back and scheduled an appointment. I drove the vehicle in, advised the services to be done, the service representative advised of two minor things to consider and they performed all the necessary work in a short time. The car is now ready to drive on an extended trip this weekend and for additional months. The work performed was done professionally, promptly and accurately. I am impressed with the services received at this dealership by both the service writer and the mechanic performing the services. The car has now been inspected, serviced and ready to drive. It really is comforting for a dealership to be so clean and provide impressive work at various levels of expertise.

    I have used McDavid Lincoln Service, Plano, TX, exclusively for the last two years. Every commitment they made was kept; I never had to return the car for rework; everything was done right the first time. Steve K. is my Service Manager, and he's as good as they come.

    I've worked with Richard A. from the service shop twice and have had a positive experience both times. Richard is highly consultative, helps you weigh your options, and doesn't push anything unnecessary. Unlike other dealerships and shops I've visited, each service manager owns the relationship with the customer, and you aren't just another nameless customer. I should also note that I drive an 11 year old Ford; not a Lincoln. Both Fords and Lincolns use Motorcraft replacement parts, and this shop is highly experienced and comfortable with Ford repairs, and has comparable labor rates to Ford shops in town. In other words, this place doesn't give the "Cadillac tax" that you find on comparable GM products (Escalade vs. Yukon/Tahoe, etc). I came in last week with a sound coming from the rear of my car that I was pretty certain had to do with the hub. Another shop in town diagnosed it as a differential issue and proposed a $3000 fix. I wasn't convinced. I brought it in, described the symptom, and Richard put his most senior technician on diagnosis duty. He called back later that morning and followed up with an email that prioritized all of my repairs (safety related, due soon, and recommended based on mileage). We determined that 2 needed to be completed immediately (neither were the original diagnosis) and I authorized the shop to start on them right away. Richard called back that afternoon explaining that the part that arrived was DOA (clearly not their fault, and I appreciate them for not installing a faulty part) and they'd have to give me a loaner for the night at their expense. No run around, no acting like it was my fault; full accountability was accepted by the shop. There were some logistics issues with shipping the replacement part, so it ended up not showing up until late the second day, so I kept the loaner for another day. Again, not the shop's fault, I just want to clarify my comment that the work wasn't completed on time. The third day, I got my car back, and the sound we had diagnosed was gone! Richard even offered to have the tech go for a ride with me if the sound ever came back. Now that's good service! Even though they're a bit (sometimes even a lot) more expensive than local mom & pop shops, the quality of customer service, level of experience and knowledge of the employees, and convenience makes this shop my go-to.
