  • Great Experience

    5 out of 5 starsby Rolling_M on 12/20/2014

I enjoyed my experience at Auto Nation Hyundai. Mark Vega, the sales associate, was very professional and knowledgeable, He answered my questions and worked with us. We were not pressured into anything and we got the deal we wanted. I would definitely buy my next car hear. The Genesis is everything I expected and more to be in a luxury sport sedan.
  • Beyond happy with the deal I got

5 out of 5 starsby wannydra on 12/07/2014

This was my first car-buying experience at a traditional dealership (previous purchases were made through Carmax), and I was apprehensive about the haggling process. I was looking for an economical car with an excellent warranty that could be had at payments near what I was currently paying monthly for my trade, an '08 Subaru Impreza - a tall order. Jason Jewel patiently spent HOURS with me, test driving every possible vehicle, new and used, that could potentially meet my requirements. In the end, I drove home in a certified Veloster loaded with every possible feature at the price I wanted with an excellent APR. Jason made a very stressful process straight-forward, and in the end I am THRILLED with the deal I got. I'd recommend this dealership and Jason Jewel to anyone looking for an honest car-buying experience.
  • My first experience with a dealership

4 out of 5 starsby KatitaH on 11/10/2014

I was a little unsure of what to expect from the process of looking at cars I was interested in, but the person who assisted me, Steven A., was focussed on what my needs and interests were and couldn't have been more responsive and professional. I ended up with a car that meets my needs and was not leaned on to purchase anything I didn't want. I had a very positive experience and would and will recommend him whenever I get the chance.
  • DONT buy here if your a women

I had been looking into buying a Hyundai Santa Fe for a month and when I finally went into our local Hyundai dealership, they were very clever in the way they presented there offer. They showed me a price I couldn't beat but what they didn't tell me is that the price they showed me didnt include the negative equity I would have on my trade in vehicle. Example(car cost $20,000-$1,000 in rebates-$10,000 they are giving me for my trade=$9,000 for a new car). After I agreed and started signing paperwork it looked more like ($9,000 + $12,000 negative equity + $250 window tint + $150 pin stripe + $4,000 tax, title, license=$25,400.) I was like WOAH! I dont know if my bank would allow the price as my bank only finances cars that are within the 110% MSRP. I wasnt looking for a great deal since I know I would have a little negative equity and I was just trying to offset with a great sales price which the dealership said it was not a problem and let me take their vehicle home that day. So of course, my bank said no way. The dealership went on to look for a financing company that would finance the high amount as the dealership is not worried about the costumers but only their bottom line. My credit was being ran every single day for a week and when I called the dealership to check the status every single day all i got was an answering machine. After a week with the dealerships car they call me as if I have been avoiding them and tell me I have to go in and sign paperwork. Me being frustrated, I asked why i havent heard from them and why are they running my credit everyday. There response was, the bank declined me and they were looking for an alternative financing program. Mind you, I was pre approved with my local bank, so I should not have been declined. So I questioned, why did my bank decline me if I am already pre approved and my loan officer hasnt heard from anyone at Hyundai regarding the vehicle I was going to purchase. After I was able to talk to someone at Hyundai, I started to feel as if they were jerking my chain so I went to my bank with the paperwork I filled out the very first day and my bank said the amount was over the allowable 110% MSRP and I would have to make a deal with the dealership if I wanted this vehicle. So here, I go again, contacting anyone and everyone that would talk to me at Hyundai and finally the General Manager called me back and requested I give an additional down payment to cover the overage. At this point, I was ready to give up take the vehicle back. If the dealership doesnt want a sale that is fine. I was willing to go elsewhere. Later in the afternoon the General manager (Steve) called me back and said they could bring the price to a reasonable amount so I went in right after work to sign a new purchase agreement. I simply took the updated purchase agreement to my bank and BAM! took 10 minutes to complete paperwork. It took over two weeks and a lot of stress to get the vehicle that I wanted. If I could have bought a vehicle from the dealership with no sales agent/finance people involved I would have been happy to have gone through so much stress and frustration. In the end, after speaking with the original car salesman that helped me for one day and then disappeared, he was able to tell me why it took so long. And here is why. The dealership knew I wanted a vehicle so had me sign paperwork and give a down payment the day I went in, not knowing if I was approved or not. They then released the vehicle to me hoping I would do anything to buy it. When someone other than my loan officer at my same bank said the price was too high for their vehicle, they started shopping around for a different financing company without my consent. Their goal was to have a different financing company pickup my loan for a higher price vehicle + they wanted a bigger down payment and in turn they would lower my interest rate by .1% Being a women, I feel these car dealerships will try there hardest to rank up their bottom line. So please take your husband if you are looking to buy a new car.

  • Great place to buy!!

PROS: Just bought a 2011 Hyundai Sonata, very well maintained clean car. Steven A. is a very professional salesman. I am recommending friends and family to stop by and look around for new or used vehicles. CONS:They could've added better floor mats and the rear centercap that was missing. I had to go on ebay and spend an extra $60 dollars to purchase both. (Better mats and center cap)...and they do not negotiate prices. :(

I had a wonderful experience at the Hyundai Dealership. I told the salesman what I wanted and how much I was looking to pay each month. He showed us around to look at different cars. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and genuine. He was also patient, honest, and fair. This is such a rare quality in sales. I enjoyed my experience so much. I have already told my friends and family about it! I definitely left with a smile on my face and a wonderful car to match.
    • Lisa, we are happy you found us so helpful! Please let us know if there's anything else we can do for you. Drive safe, and see you on the road.

I had a 2011 Hyundai Sonata and was very happy with it, but wanted a Turbo. Now I have the 2014 Turbo and really enjoying it! Got 33.8 miles per gallon this weekend on a little road trip. Mike W, my salesman has been very helpful. I used their service department in the past on my prior vehicle and will continue to do so.

  • Surprise! Can't trust car salesmen!

I knew the man was exaggerating, but he was way off base. The quoted expected gas mileage on the Sonata Hybrid was significantly lower than on sticker and estimated by the salesman! They just want the sale and afterwards--forget it!
  • 2013 Elantra

Our salesman was very helpful from the minute we arrived at the Dealership. He showed us the inventory of Elantras and we picked one to test drive. he told us about all the features of the car and let us take our time evaluating the car. We negotiated the price and thought about it for a day. When we made out decision to purchase our salesman came in on his day off to complete the sale and deliver our 2013 Elantra. Everyone at the Dealership was friendly and professional.

  • 2013 Veloster Turbo

    5 out of 5 starsby chas51 on 07/23/2013
    updated 06/06/2025

Had to buy a new car and did my homework on what I wanted before we went to shop. We visited 4 dealer and I wish we would have went to the Hyundai first, would have saved a lot of time wasted at the other dealers. Mike did a great job showing us what we wanted, not trying to sell us what he wanted...had that experience earlier in the day. Went to look at the Veloster because of it safety rating, gas mileage and leg room (very important). Mike took us to look at a few models, asked what we wanted to test drive and never was pushing a sell, just wanted us to find what we needed. We ended up getting the turbo instead of the base model we started looking at because it had a little more headroom, again very important, and my wife loved the comfort of the seats. We probably could have bargained for a better deal, but I am very pleased with the experience we had in the purchase. As for the car, love it, getting the mileage we expected to get and I know it will get a little better when the engine gets broken in, rides wonderfully for a small car and it seems to be well made...the warranty takes a lot of that worry away...I will say the only disappointment is that it has no automatic headlight sensor? I know, have to turn the lights on and off myself...just a little surprised that any car no days wouldn't have that as a standard feature...but other than that love it, wife was so pleased she told her brother and he picked a car out with Mikes help for his daughter.
