  • Worked with my warranty and provided good advice

    Went in for warranty repair on my side mirrors. My service advisor, Mark C, looked up my extended warranty and called LDS to confirm coverage. This was excellent! They answered my questions regarding my GDI car and its preventative maintenance needs as honestly as possible. As a result, I did get the GDI flush and this cost some money, but very likely I avoided a costly engine replacement in the future. I would highly recommend their service as they did accommodate my needs on short notice, answered my questions, and provided a shuttle to give me a ride home and back while my car was being worked on.

    • Now, at 40k miles, it seems like I'm having transmission issues. My car won't reverse on cold start now! My warranty is still good until 2025, but I don't know if Hyundai will take care of me or if they will try to blame me. Will post again once I know.

  • Terrible Service

    I have ongoing issues with this service department ever since they stopped selling Genesis. I bought a Genesis from them 5 years ago and had a great experience back then, however they discontinued selling them lass than 2 years later and since then, service has been a nightmare! My most recent experience makes me never want to go back there again! I schedule routine service and oil change and also had an issue for them to look at (otherwise I would have gone elsewhere for the oil change). I also asked if they could to my vehicle inspection because it is due this month. I was told yes and to tell the service advisor and bring my proof of insurance when I brought the car in t drop it off. When I brought the car in, I handed the proof of insurance to the advisor and reminded him that I needed an inspection. The car was there for over 6 hours and when I went to pick it up the inspection had not been done and the oil change cost me over $200!! The proof of insurance that I had left on the passenger's seat (as instructed by the service advisor that checked me in) was in the glove box so someone did see it, they just failed to complete the inspection. It was almost closing time when the car was ready and no one was left to do the inspection! I will never return there for service!

    Was lucky to be in contact with this dealership. From my first contact, the sales group was friendly, informative, and efficient. Many dealerships are adding a few thousand to MSRP and this dealership had the least add-on fees in the form of a paint protection and window tinting that was mandatory. Paloma, the sales manager delivered my car from Corpus to San Antonio and saved me the trip of picking it up. Paperwork was fairly quick in my home and the deal was done! The finance department was not pushy at all with more add ons like Gap insurance or extended warranties. They respected my first 'no' when asking if I was interested in the add-ons and moved on. I will definitely keep this dealership in mind for any future purchases!

    Honest, transparent and smooth as butter. Worked with my numbers and financial situation. No many questions asked. Signing everything was easy and all the information was shown to me and explained. I asked the same questions several times to make sure everything was correct and no one showed to be impatient with me. When a deal was offered I was told this is what they can work with, and everything was explained in detail, no fishy or irregular things. Not a single push to get more warranties or other perks. Marisa should be your best seller over there

    The dealer honored the trade-in value of my truck even though they hadn't seen it yet as I am from out of town. I purchased a new Hyundai Ioniq 5 which they sold to me at MSRP. Other Texas dealers were asking up to $8,000 over MSRP! There were no hi pressure sales to get me to purchase any dealer add ons. Overall this was the most pleasant car purchase experience of my life!

    My husband's car needed maintenance work and we are in quarantine due to our health issues. Trisha worked everything out to where we had relatively no physical contact and was a joy to work with.

  • Poor Mildred

    Had the Slave Clutch Cylinder blow on my 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe. Called the parts department, ordered the clutch, was never asked if my car was under warranty. This would have saved me from buying the part, having my car towed twice (to my house then to the dealer) and finding out from the service department that my car was covered after all. When I got my car back, she had problems with bouncing in the front end. Service man test drove before and after I arrived. He said it was my tires and took my car back for some kind of machine testing. When he brought my car back up, the front tire had been switched to the back. Gen Coupes are not supposed to have the tires rotated. He asked me who switched the tires. The car was at Hyundai for over a week. Who else? I've had so many difficulties at this service department as well as the detail department. I'm done with Hyundai. Nobody cares anymore and I was blamed for the tires being rotated? By the way, the front end is still bouncing. Service man informed me the struts and shocks are not covered by warranty which is why I will be taking my Mildred somewhere else. Also, every time my car has been in the shop, they tell me my oil is bad. What the heck does that mean? I always change my oil regularly.

    Ryan Hanes, my salesperson did a great job and was very patient with me. I returned to the dealership several times before I finally purchased my 2018 Genesis. I was very particular and they went out of their way to make sure I got the exact car that I wanted. Everyone was very pleasant and I look forward to continuing to do business with them.

    I purchased this 2012 Chevy Malibu three weeks ago, the vehicle has been in the shop for overheating for the past two weeks. Got it back this past Friday, the vehicle overheated again one day later. I have to take it back (3rd) time for same issue. Two weeks ago, I left a message for the service manager and general manager of the dealership, as of three weeks, haven’t heard anything back from either individual. “Not a good feeling of support.

    We got a recall notice after moving to Texas. We found AutoNation to be the closest dealer. It turned out there were 3 recalls my car was due for. All of these were taken care of at no charge within 10 minutes of their estimated time. Nice dealership. Waiting room included WiFi and progress on cars in the service dept.

    Everyone was very friendly and Helpful. I felt like I walked away with new friends. Tyler was very helpful. He even followed me to my sisters so I could return her car. Then we drove back and I picked up my bright new, shiny car. He helped me when I locked my keys in the trunk.
