  • Shady dealership

1 out of 5 starsby Arjun on 09/16/2024

Drove 3 and a half hrs from Austin to Conroe to pick up a new 2025 Hyundai Palisade from this dealership only to find out that the car wasn't in great shape. It had paint coming off, external damage on the frame (that couldn't be fixed I was told), etc. The sales guy, Jason, said he missed those issues during the inspection. There is no way someone in this line of business didn't notice something as prominent as that (or they have to be too bad at their work to miss it. Poor, either way). And his manager, Bryce, wasn't of any use either. We had to return without a car eventually. And zero remorse or regret about the mistakes on their part. Almost like they knew it all along and were only hoping someone wouldn't notice and leave with the car. No wonder it has been sitting in their lot for months. Very shady dealership. Avoid this place (especially if you coming in from a distance)

  • Veloster purchase at Weisner's

    5 out of 5 starsby bdoucet1 on 05/03/2016

My salesman was Donnie. He provided me with the vehicle that met and exceeded my requirements. I am very pleased with the hyundai veloster. It is a fun car to drive and gets good fuel mileage. I find the veloster to be comfortable to ride and meets the mark at light sporty. Donnie was very knowledgable about the product and willing to help in any way possible. I found Donnie to be quite honest, respectable, and straight forward. He delivered what he told me. These are characters that I appreciate. I enjoyed the buying experience at Weisner's and will keep this in mind for my next vehicle purchase. I will also recommend this dealership to others. Thanks

  • Terrible Shopping Experience with Wiesner Hyundai

    1 out of 5 starsby sandersen3011 on 10/08/2009

I sent an email to the Internet Manager asking if they had a 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Touring in white in stock and if so what was the price. The internet manager called me on the phone and told me he had one on the lot and the price was $26,500. He said he would be on the lot from noon to close. I went to the lot at 5:00 P.M. and I was told that the person left early for the day. They did not have the car in white but a black one was on the lot. When I spoke to the manager, he told me they did not have a white one and was not going to get one in any time soon. When I told him I would purchase the black one for $26,500 (the price I was quoted), the sales manager laughed and said there was no way he could sell that car for that price. I told him that was the price I was quoted from the Internet manager. The sales manager told me there was no way and I was a liar. I then asked him if he could get me a white one from another dealer. He looked it up and said a Dallas, TX dealership might have one. I then asked him if he would call the dealership and see if it could be sent to his dealership. He told me that I would have to drive and see if they had the car and he doesn't transfer cars from other dealerships because Hyundai does not allow that to occur (An another Hyundai dealership actually found what I was looking for and had it sent to their dealership). I asked him if he would do anything for me since I drove an hour to his dealership and they didn't have the car that I wanted (the internet manager said they had it in stock) or would not sell me another one in a different color for the price I was quoted. He told me that there wasnt anything he could do so I might as well get out of his show room. I guess the Sales Manager did not want to work with a customer that wanted a car for a price that was quoted. When I called the Internet Manager on Monday, he claimed that we never had a conversation. I guess they will do anything to get people to their location.

  • Pleasant Car Buying experience

    5 out of 5 starsby mrs2 on 03/04/2009

We were greeted by our salesman, Dennis Dunaway to look at the Sonata which we were offered a test drive. After our test drive our eye caught the Genesis, which we then test drove. Since we were unfamilar with Hyundai Genesis autos we wanted time to research and advised Dennis we would not be purchasing that day. He and his manager did not pressure us which is a big turnoff to us. After 2 weeks of researching Edmunds Forum, Blue Book reviews and checking with other Hyundai dealerships, we settled on a price that we would pay. Weisner met that price exactly. The dealership did not have the color in stock we wanted so located a car that would be delivered in two days. When we arrived last Monday to pick up our car it was equipped exactly as we had requested. The paperwork went smoothly with no high pressure to purchase additional plans. We did purchase an extended warranty that was very reasonable and with the .09% interest from Hyundai we couldn't go wrong. Thank You Dennis and all the Weisner staff that made this car buying experience as easy as one would want.

Justin Lewis helped my daughter buy a used Hyundai. I was impressed with him so when I wanted to purchase a Sonata I called him. He set us up right away with a test drive. We waited a few weeks before continuing the process. He did not bug us once. We returned to Wiesner and he found the car we wanted, stayed with us through the process ,(we were even offered lunch) and gave us a detailed explaination on how the car functions. Everyone at Wiesner was eager to please. We were happy with the price of our car and felt our trade in was fair.

I've always heard about car salemen being the worst people on earth. I never thought that extended to all parts of the car dealership industry until my experience with WEISNER HYUNDAI. For years, I've brought my FORD and TOYOTA to a dealership for service. And for years, they have never given me cause to think them a bunch of dishonest human beings until my recent experience with WEISNER HYUNDAI. I brought my Sonata in for an airbag recall fix on Nov, 1, 2013. When we dropped it off, Jordan the service rep and myself did a walk around to note any body damages to the car. The only one noted was a scratch on the side of the car that I knew was there as I fell on the car with the car keys. They said it will take 3 hrs. We left. A few hours later I got a call from the service rep saying it will actually take more than that as one side will take as much as 3 hrs. So I was told to expect to pick it up later in the evening. Around 6pm, we didn't get a courtesy call, so my husband called. They couldn't locate the paper work. So we figured we would not get the car until the next day. Saturday Nov 3rd, I got a call from Jordan S. around past noon to tell me the car was ready. We went to picked it up close to 2pm when they would close. I did not check the car, as I was used to having our Ford and Toyota serviced at the dealership all the time. And they always take good care of the car. Drove the Sonata home. The next day Sunday, we decided to wash our cars. We noticed this long line on the front bumper. On closer inspection, we saw a ding and scratch on the paint. As I was flying out to SF the next day for an entire week and my hubby was driving to LA that week, I called the dealership to let them know the problem and to tell them that as we were both out of town, we couldn't bring the car back that week. I spoke to PHILIP M., the service manager and he said to bring it in and he'll look at it. But that he could not really know for sure what he can do as we drove the car out of the dealership already (NOTE: you can already tell excuses coming up). Nov 11th, I brought it in. He checked it and offered me a "paint pen". He said there is nothing he can do about it as he couldn't know for sure if that happened at the dealership. That is a penny on a hundred dollar consolation fix! This is a 2012 Sonata barely driven, as I work from home. Unlike them, I am an honest person. If I did that myself, I woudn't go chasing after the dealership and have then fix it. But as I know for certain this was not cause by me, it is very frustrating to have this manger say there is nothing he can do. This was the first time we used this dealership in this small town, as we just recently moved to the state. But in Las Vegas, and the Bay Area, CA, we have always dealt with dealerships for our car service and never had an issue of coming out with a ding, dent or scratch, as was in this case. For them to allude that I am lying, that I do not appreciate. I filed a case with Hyundai Corp, paid $25 to file a complaint with the CCA. And I will spend time going to all consumer rating sites I can think of, to bring the word out about this dealership in TX! BEWARE YOU CAN NOT TRUST THIS SERVICE CREW! If you do bring your business to this dealership, make sure you check your car TOP TO BOTTOM before leaving their lot. Otherwise, they will wash their hands of it. I know I am only one unsatisfied customer and it will barely ding their bottom line. But I want other people to be aware and not have the same experience as I did. In the interest of full disclosure, all ratings are required field in this site. I proceeded to fill these out in the context of my issue. While I did not pay any $ as it was an airbag recall, I did get saddled with the cost of having to fix the bumper which they dinged. Also for the accurate quote, they only said it will be in to fix the airbag recall, nothing was said about adding a ding and scratches on my bumper.

Salesman was knowledgeable of product, was polite, and did not waste our time. However, trade in price was $5,000 below other dealers in the area.

We worked with the internet "eprice" person at Wiesner Hyundai. Everything was very up front and fair...very accommodating. She found the vehicle we wanted and made the best deal happen among all the competition. This was the most pleasant purchasing experience we have had. I highly recommend them.
