  • I don't see how this experience could have been better

5 out of 5 starsby VCC on 01/01/2021

I don't know about the negative reviews, but I had a rocking experience at Hiley Hyundai Burleson. I researched the car I wanted and even though inventory is low this year, they had 2 of the exact trim I wanted. The car is amazing. The sales went great and fast. The team was very friendly and run by veterans. Chris Yates was a mellow but fast and efficient salesperson who had great customer service skills. They were aggressively competitive with my trade-in value (I'd already KBB'd it). The paperwork was minimal and I was in and out (including test drive) within 3 hours. At no point did I think they were stalling. They offered me add ons and immediately respected my answer when I said no. Everything about the car and experience was value and quality. Under these conditions and this customer service philosophy, I will not be using another dealership or brand than Hyundai.

  • Worst Customer service! Pure lies!

    2 out of 5 starsby AJS0075002 on 02/11/2018

Worst experience ever in car buying with this dealer staff! I drove about 130 miles in sub zero temperature after getting assurance over email about final price. Shockingly, they were completely different people when I along with my family and 8 gear old kid met them in person. They just wanted us to visit them and now had a completely different price on the table! Surprisingly, the guy who was communicating with me over email was noy even allowed to meet us in person! If they, were not interested in offering deal I was requesting, they should have simply said NO and I could have avoided wasting my time, money and 260 miles to and fro drive. Worst cuatomer service.

  • Empty Promises, Lies, and Poor Follow-Up

    3 out of 5 starsby Cashbuyer60 on 08/18/2017

I made a mistake and trusted this dealership to keep their promises and follow thru with honesty. I purchased a 2014 Equus and I have to say it was a car I searched for and found at this dealership. The car needed two new tires, and a second key (said to be $500 with programming). I made appointments, three of them, and drove over 120 miles round trip to keep the appointments. The tires were changed on service trip one and after several hours I was told that the key could not be made and I'd have to come back. 2nd appointment...another excuse. 3rd appointment...no key and another excuse. Trey McGee told me he's have their "key guy" call me and make it easy for me to obtain the 2nd key. Two weeks later the "key guy" had not called so I was given his number by Trey. I called and found it difficult to reach the "key guy" but finally reached him. He returned my call saying he knew nothing about the dealership and had never held of Trey McGee. While I am happy with my vehicle...given my experience with Trey McGee, I'd suggest anyone buy elsewhere from a dealership that actually does what it says and keeps their word. Honesty pays.

  • AVOID AT ALL COST

    1 out of 5 starsby robchop22 on 06/29/2017

*WARNING* AVOID AT ALL COST* Extremely dishonest, they will tell you any thing you want to hear just to try and get you in the doors. 1. I made offer of 28500.00 on a truck. 2. They agreed IN WRITING. 3. I told them I would be there only to test drive and sign papers. Not to play games. 4. After 3 hours which is more then enough time considering I had my own approval from Wells Fargo. I ask how the deal is coming along. The response "talking to the bank." Which translates I sent 28500.00 to be approved at Wells Fargo. 5. I tell him that I would be there at 5pm to sign and drive. He responds ok. Again, conveying that the deal had been submitted and approved. 6. I arrive to test drive, then be told the price had go up 1300 dollars because of "Corporate." Then the sales manager bold face lies to me about GAP insurance trying to charge me 900 dollars. I had just been to a dealership the day before that quoted me 750 dollars. I tell him he looks shocked and quickly changes the price. 7. After I called them out they continue with the Corporate wouldn't let them story. as I said AVOID AT ALL COST. It's your typical sleazy bait tactics we all hear about.

  • Great dealership

5 out of 5 starsby JKgenesis on 12/18/2016

I had a great buying experience at Hiley Hyundai. They were very professional and straight forward during the price negotiating. I never felt like I was being mislead or pressured. My sales rep was Onya and I will definitely go back when I need a new car again.

  • Unprofessional Lying [non-permissible content removed]

I should have left the dealership when I walked in the door and the salesman Kyle Clark shook the hand of my boyfriend but failed to acknowledge me until I announced I would be the one purchasing the vehicle. Lie #1 – Kyle Clark stated the vehicle had been on the lot for more than 90 days and it was required by “law” to send it to auction the next day. This was simply a stupid tactic to put pressure on the buyer. I drove 4 Hours from Houston and then another hour from where I was staying in Frisco to view the car in Burleson. After two days of negotiation I agreed to purchase a used 2015 Genesis for $15,500 down and $260 monthly payment. After I had begun the purchase process Kyle Clark informed me I would only receive one key for the vehicle and I would be required to pay an additional $300 if I wanted a second key. Car purchases should always come with 2 keys In order to secure a better interest rate for my first vehicle purchase I asked to put my Father as a co-signer on the loan. The paperwork printed showed my father as owner of the vehicle. They never met my father through the purchase nor talked to him. LIE #2 – Vance Bailey (Finance Manager) and Kyle Clark both stated it was “law” for my father to be a co-owner on the vehicle title if he’s a co-signer on the loan. This is not true. I verified this was incorrect through other dealerships, lawyer and google search. On my 3rd day returning to the dealership and more than 8 hours of driving between Frisco and Burleson they agreed to revise the paperwork and remove my father as an owner of the vehicle. . LIE #3 – When the “revised” paperwork printed I reviewed the numbers and found they had slightly increased the monthly payment from the original agreement. They also increased the financing period by 2 months from the original agreement. Kyle Clark had agreed to match my $500 increase in my down payment during negotiations, but this was not reflected on the new contract. I emailed the GM, Seth Boutin regarding several of these pending issues the evening before my 3rd visit. Seth Boutin never replied to my email. I was informed Seth was present at the dealership when I returned, but the coward never came out to address me. I asked for my check back and left without buying a car from [non-permissible content removed].

  • Great price but beware

The car buying experience was decent up until the end; no haggle price, relatable sales people, but finishing up with their finance department definitely left a bad taste in our mouth. We dealt with Mark Sigler from their finance department and he came off as arrogant, dismissive, unhelpful, and overall lacked any decent customer service skills. Cars and prices are good but was not happy with how they closed the transaction.
  • Great buy and Great Experience

Amanda was very easy to work with. She answered all my questions in a very timely manner. The General Manager was very nice. I am very pleased and I would recommend this dealership.
