Service with a smile
by GINGER54 on 02/02/2018I was greeted by name at the outside service kiosk. Pulled into the service area was greeted again. My service advisor, Jim talked with me and addressed my recall concerns . Anthony Herrera was referred to address other motor concerns. Jim… was at the rental car desk and helped me feel at ease with the process. Overall just getting the car into the shop was a real treat. Anthony called and texted when the work was completed and returning the rental was just as easy. What made all of this really special was a return text to make sure I was satisfied with the work done on my car. 5 Stars to all the team members!!!We aim to deliver this same level of customer service to everyone who visits us! Oil change & 13 Point Inspection Time
by GregGuy99 on 01/17/2018The current time for an Oil Change & 13 Point Inspection is currently stated as 1 to 1/2 hours. Way too long. And although it has reportedly come Down from 4 hours, 1 1/2 is still too long. And mine took Over 2 Hours. When you consider… the quick change places and GM dealership times AND they are WithOut Reservations.! Yes the Inspection, done professionally does take extra time, .....but 1 1/2 hours. Comon Man.!Thanks for being a customer of ours, Greg! We appreciate the feedback and are on the path to getting wait times down. :) We're currently implementing new technology and processes to both maximize efficiency in our shop and improve the customer experience. We're also actively hiring and have added 6 new teammates to our roster just last month. We're confident that wait times will improve once our newbies get fully trained in and familiar with our processes. Best Service Ever!
by Olive_Green on 01/06/2018I made an appointmetnt With Mr. Mark Klingele back in September to learn what was needed to disolve a loan that was up side down. Mark showed me the steps to make the transaction through a lease option. He suggested how much to plan for to… make a down payment , ans I was able to meet that ammount. We kept in touch through to December 30th, 2017, when I was able to bring in the down payment and complete the transaction. Mark was very patient and guided me through a very time oriented moment where and when I could reach the goal of leasing a new HR-V and pay off the unbalanced loan from my old car with one loan. I am a very happy client and will refer any one you needs a new car to see Mark Klingele First.We couldn't be happier to hear about your experience with us! Our 2013 Honda Fit has been an excellent car only requiring basic maintenance. We needed another car… and researched online then came right back to a Honda. Aaron Garcia helped us decide between the improved Fit and the Civic, again with patience, straight forward information and no pressure. We settled on the Civic with its smoother ride. Aaron worked with us over two days and offered good service. Were satisfied and would recommend a Honda, the dealer, and the salesperson. Thanks!Straightforward and affordable!

I arrived, was quickly greeted by AJ, and drove off earlier than the time promised. It was… easy to pass the hour and a half with wifi and refreshments available in the reception area. There was even some classic guitar briefly as a talented technician entertained us briefly during his lunch break. How typical of the eclectic folks working at First Texas. Servicing the car may have been the best, non-hectic moment if the workday!I like 1st Texas Honda's Service Dept
by ChucksGhost on 10/16/2017The title of my review says it all! I like 1st Texas Honda's service dept. I bought my used 2005 Civic Hybrid from Howdy Honda. I didn't like the attitudes of their service personnel who always seemed to give off an air that they were… doing my a favor by servicing my Civic. Howdy Honda did an airbag recall on the driver's side but never bothered to mention that the seat belt wasn't sending a signal or that that because of that lack of signal my airbag would not deploy. One day on a whim, I went to 1st Texas for an oil change. While there I was informed that the driver side airbag wouldn't have deployed in the event of an accident. I was also informed that the passenger side airbag was eligible for a recall replacement. They called me when the parts arrived, I made an appointment, repairs were made without cost to me. Add to that the fact that my synthetic oil change at 1st Texas is half what Howdy Honda charged me and now I'm a fan and loyal customer. My only complaint is that they never seem to remember to put an oil change sticker in my windshield, but I guess I can live with that oversight. If I ever buy a new Honda while I'm in Austin it will be from First Texas Honda.We love what we do and we're always here to help. :) Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us and others. Same High Quality Service for me since 2003

Everyone, from the parts counter people to the Service Advisors to the mechanics all performed quality work with little… frustration in a timely manner. I credit First Texas Honda with my '94 racking up 278,000 miles before selling her for a 2008 Civic Si Two door coupe. As with my '94, my 2008 Civic received the same quality treatment and customer care from the associated mechanic and service advisor. I would not hesitate recommending First Texas Honda's service dept. to ANYONE who owns a Honda vehicle. Honda manufactures a quality product, but their cars MUST be maintained with quality Honda parts which are serviced and installed by competent mechanics.Excellent Service
