Go get yourself a Volvo

by RalATX on 01/03/2021We worked with Emmett Vick and he was magnificent. Extremely knowledgeable about Volvo in general and down to car specifics. And he seemed willing to work with us as long as needed, with no rush. He walked us through the control panel,… which does not have a strong rating in Consumer Reports, but with his explanation and demo, both my wife and I felt it was a good interface (and other competing models seemed clunky and/or included too many buttons). Initially, Volvo was not on our list of cars to drive, but it was near some of the other dealerships, so we stopped in. We were glad we did, and we both commented that Emmett was one of the reasons Volvo rose to the top of our list (which included Infiniti, Porsche, BMW, Audi, Lincoln, and Lexus).Excellent service

We came in with limited knowledge about Volvo but were quickly impressed with the facilities, our sales rep,Volvo's approach to… building safe cars and adoption of PHEV technology (a requirement for our buy). Emmett worked with our schedule and our needs and ultimately went went to bat for us to complete the deal. Also, having been to a number of dealerships over the last few months, I was impressed how well he knew their product as compared to other reps at competing brands. We worked off and on throughout the week in a flexible manner ( while not onsite ) to finalize numbers and then came in to finalize it. It was an incredibly smooth experience overall. The car has been impressive since then and we are so far extremely happy with the purchase. I will be recommending Volvo Cars of Austin and Emmett in particular.Amazing Service

I didn't know exactly what I was looking for at first but I worked with Dennis Cardona and he made everything so easy for me. He really took the… time to help me figure out what car was going to fit what I was looking for and showed me quite a few options. This was my first time buying a car on my own and going to a dealership alone and he made everything so smooth and effortless. He was extremely thorough and made sure I understood everything about the car and the deal itself. His service really stands out as he wasn't pushy and overbearing at all. I would absolutely recommend working with Grant and the staff at this Volvo… dealership to friends and family in the future!Extra diligence required
by harrison310 on 05/24/2009I bought a Volvo S40 - certified pre-owned - well before TWILIGHT made C30's and S40s cool again!:) Sales process was so-so. Lots of formulaic back and forth between the sales rep and the manager. After getting my car, I'm not 100%… satisfied that it was in pristine condition that all certified Volvo's are supposed to be. Missing mats, blown bulbs. All of that was taken care of eventually under warranty but the car was delivered to me "lacking." Once I worked out a deal with the sales rep, I waited 1.5 hours to see the Financing guy who offered me a very bad loan rate. I had to counter with some advertised rates from other banks and credit unions. I guess the lesson there is to go in pre-qualified with your own bank/CU. Two weeks after I bought the car, I called back to find that my sales rep was no longer with the company. I never received a follow-up call, or any call thanking me for my purchase.
