    Leo Light sales rep and their finance dept at Leif Johnson Ford in Austin Texas handled my out of state purchase of a 2020 GT350 professionally and pleasantly, They made it easy to place the order, keep me updated on the progress of the order, and handle everything on the backend with filthier financing dept. They even assist in watching s as nd recording how the car was placed in the intrrdtste transporter for a 1200 mile trip to WI I would definitely recommend them for any one locally or nationally to make a purchase from high fndcrr Str oecialtu vehicles you regular cars s as nd trucks. 2 thumbs up

    Greg Schieber was awesome. He made the process smooth and with our pre-approval we were able to take care of most over phone which was fantastic. He covered everything and had amazing customer service. Leif Johnson Ford staff all around was awesome they delivered our new truck after accessories were installed and everyone from start to finish was awesome. We are very thankful for the smooth process:)

    Kudos to David and the team for sticking around late Saturday while we reviewed the new 2020 Explorers! This is my second new vehicle purchase from Leif Johnson, almost 10 years after picking out my 2010 Escape. Although I ran an exhaustive research online across various makes and models, checking out the new features and a test drive with David really helped to cement my decision. Thank you, team!

    I price watched all year. I emailed and spoke w/ many sales reps. I even test drove a few cars. Leif Johnson Ford beat the nearest comparable vehicle by a few thousand dollars! Sales rep David Beauchamp was extremely patient and accommodating w/ me. Was also very knowledgeable Re: features, options and offerings. He complied w/ all my demanding requests and got me a modest tire upgrade and window tint for free! Most of all, he got me in the car I wanted for the best price around = a finely tuned, good looking, 2019 Mustang Ecoboost in my favorite color, sweet rims and the options I wanted most. J. A.     Let me preface this review by saying that we are not complainers or reviewers. In fact, my reviews for Lief Johnson Ford are the first I have ever left. Our experience with Leif Johnson Ford was the worst car buying experience we have ever had. The customer service we received was subpar at best. There are much better and more knowledgeable dealerships out there so I recommend you do your homework and read the reviews: they speak for themselves. They do not care about having good customer service, only their bottom line. Better dealerships to look in to from personal buying experience since 2015.     I had an amazing experience here thanks to Raphael! He made sure I got the car I wanted and went out of his way to find one with all of the things I asked for. He made me feel so welcome, like family. I may have only been there for a few hours to buy my car but he made the whole experience great. I will be looking for him in the future for any questions and obviously future purchases. I'll also be sure to recommend him to all of my friends and family or anyone I know of looking for a Ford. I can not stress enough how amazing he was to work with. I left with a new car and a new friend, the experience was truly amazing. Do yourself a favor and if you're looking for a new car, go to my new friend Raphael! He will make sure you get exactly what you are looking for and leave you with a smile on your face!

    This is the second vehicle that we've bought from Leif Johnson. Each time the staff has been courteous, the sales professional honest and helpful, the car excellent, and the experience superior. I couldn't recommend Leif Johnson more for your consideration on your next car purchase. Ask for Leo Light next time you're there!

    Chad Christian was great to work with. I told him where we needed to be and we worked together to get there. He also worked around our schedule and went the extra mile for us. I am not a fan of the location so Chad adjusted for me. Have to say....I have been loyal to another dealership for many many years until now!! NINE car loyal. THAT says a whole lot!!     We have used Leif Johnson several times in the last year for our car buying needs. Oscar Pulido has been an awesome salesman!! I normally do not like to buy vehicles because of the time it takes and the stress of it. But we have gone to Oscar 3 times in the last year and he has made each experience extremely painless. Also thank you to Ryan Fisher in finance. We have received amazing service and great deals from him as well. Thank you so much for restoring my faith in dealerships :)

    I really liked the salesman in general they were very friendly but the store it self was awful! It was no run down and the restroom was nasty! I thought selling me a 75,000 truck you could at least update your facility to match the price tags on the trucks.

    As an OEF veteran, this was the best dealership, car buying, and car shopping experience I have ever had spanning three states and six cities. Instead of having to haggle for the best possible deal, Leif Johnson put it on the table from the beginning. And when they were able to make it cheaper, with less interest (0% for 72 mo.), and a significantly smaller down payment ($0.00), they showed initiative in offering it to me. Especially after such a horrible experience with Mac Haik, my experience with Leif Johnson was amazing! The other dealership trapped me into a purchase, offered no grace period, and epitomized sleazy used car salesman stereotypes. Initially Mac Haik tried to lie (blaming laws); when told to cut the BS after researching the law and speaking to the Texas Attorney General's Consumer Protection Division, they hid behind the unfair laws that were in their favor and refused to speak to me when mentioning the counsel of a lawyer. This was after informing them of the dire financial situation my family was in after being in an accident and my only other car experiencing extremely expensive mechanical and electrical failures shortly after transitioning from active duty military service. Unless your economic status is above upper middle class or your credit score is above 800, NEVER go to Mac Haik or even give them the opportunity to sleaze away your hard earned money. Go to Lief Johnson and you will likely not even consider shopping around further. My sales representative, Thomas Almaraz, [contact info removed], was superbly helpful, flexible, friendly, approachable, and made me feel like he was working for me, not a greedy dealership.

    I had the best sale experience for a new truck that I have ever had. I had gone to 3 other Ford dealerships before Leif Johnson and sent a note on the internet stating what I wanted and what I didn't want (including in the sales process) and got a personal call from the Sales Manager who introduced me to Leo a sales director there who has a background in mechanics. Leo called and I was in a truck 3 days later. I was so resistance-free and BS-free and didn't feel the need to continue shopping for dealerships as I got to trust Leo and knew that I couldn't do better. This is my first purchase at LJFord, but I have owned nothing but Ford's for many years and the dealership was the most painful experience. Leo is worth seeking out here....

    I recently purchased a 2014 (used) 4Runner from Leif Johnson Ford. Thanks to Scott Webb, Dave Christian, Ryan Fisher, James & Tim Hartsaw - I had a GREAT experience! I found the vehicle I wanted through their Inventory website and the vehicle was conveniently pulled up front when I first visited the dealership. Everyone worked together to get me out of there in very little time and it was as painless as possible... even more so than I could have hope for! Dave and Ryan worked on my loan approval while James entered my information in to the application. I was literally signing paperwork in less than 2 hours. The vehicle was perfect except for a couple of little things, and that is where Scott and Tim help me out. They organized for me to get a remote start and new tires on my "new" vehicle, and I brought it back a week later and it was all done and REALLY perfect by the time I got off work that day. I would definitely recommend Leif Johnson Ford to anyone who is looking for a new or used vehicle! I will be going back in a few years, whenever I am ready for another vehicle.

    I scourged the internet to find the exact car I was looking for. It just so happened to be at Leif Johnson Ford in Austin. It was a busy day at the dealership. Everyone was friendly and courteous. Joe Gaffney was our salesman. He was very informative and thorough with the details of our selection. He also was patient when we accidentally called Grandpa and had a conversation with him as we paired our phone to the car. Ryan Fisher had the same demeanor that Joe did. He was friendly and thorough with our paperwork and made it a pleasant process compared to other car buying experiences we have had in the past.

    If I could give no stars, I would! This place is a nightmare! Buying a new car from them was the worst car buying experience of my life! The whole process took over a month and they flatout lied to me so many times throughout the process! This place is SO shady! TWICE when I arrived to sign papers, they tried to slip in changes, hoping I wouldn't notice major differences in what we had negotiated and what they wrote in the contract that they tried to get me to sign! The first time I thought it was incompetence, then by the second time I realized it's their M.O. When I asked about the differences, they put me in a room and played good cop/bad cop by sending in different people to talk to me and each one tried to blame the other for their dishonesty. It makes me sick to my stomach to think about what they put me through. If you want a honest, smooth, forthright buying experience, go anywhere else. If you do decide to buy from them, read very carefully before you sign anything!

    Yesterday I went to the used dept of Leif Johnson Ford just to look and test drive a particular that I want that they had in their inventory. It's the 2006 Honda Civic EX Cpe. I get there and instantly there are about 6 salesmen standing around all looking at you like a vulture ready to attack it's prey! I finally let one of the salespersons know that I spoke with the sales financing manager a while back, he calls him, is told by the manager to assist and "take care of me". We take the car on a test drive so far it's riding okay, he's "selling up all the features" that he knows on the car, turns the radio on to cover up the wonderful rattling noise I happen to hear. When asked what it is, his response: Oh that sounds like on of the flaps by the wheels is loose...OH! But we'll get that fixed before we sell it to you! Who said anything about buying the car yet, I just wanted a test drive! Then I'm looking at the fixtures..it's a really nice car might i add! And i see the Service Engine Light is on...for the OIL CHANGE! Arent the cars already supposed to have been through the "150 point inspection" already before it hits the lot? And for it to only be a 2006 with 34k there shouldn't be any weird noises coming from it whatsoever! Right? So we get back to the dealership, I'm already a little skeptical about their used dept the sales guy is really irritating, he is obviously looking for a sale as he has mentioned the "after market rims" and the "wonderful size" of the vehicle to me for the THIRD time to me already. I know it's a wonderful car that's why I'm interested in it I just wanted a test drive. So, since I already know the sales manager and he so horrible i figure, what harm could a credit check do to see what I would be working with? Mistake! I have had credit issues in the past... so what?....with the economy in the shape it is and help out there today almost anyone can get any car they want with the right resources and financial commitment they bring forth to back them up! After i fill out the application, he has me waiting more than 5 minutes to come back and tell me this: "Basically, your credit from what I can see isnt all that great. I didn't run yor credit and I wont. Here's why: you went to a dealership a while back that should've been last resort (Drive Time), you gave a car back, got screwed and so this is what you should do. Talk to your mom, have her come in and do the credit app then she'll be the one on the car but you'll be the primary driver. How does that sound?" Shady! I am never going back, the car wasn't in the best condition, the salesperson was a total [violative content deleted], and the info he gave me about financing was a TOTAL LIE! I wont be wasting my future time...I will be going to a different dealership that I know can and will work with me to get me in the car I WANT!

    I went to this dealership looking for a new truck. I'm lucky to have multiple Ford dealerships in the area so I decided to comparison shop. Upon arriving at this dealership, I told my salesman that I was interested in buying a certain model with the exact extras I wanted. I told him that I was shopping around and that the best price will win. He didn't seem to like that and said that Leif Johnson doesn't play bidding wars. I asked if that meant he wasn't prepared to give me a price and he said that he would once I came back. "Just tell us your lowest bid and we'll beat it." Hmm...so he won't play the bidding war unless he already knows the lowest price given? I found this distasteful so I went somewhere else. I've dealt with this dealership several times and I always get this attitude. They also have a habit of not telling you about rebates and instead acting like they are the ones giving you the discount. Steer clear. They also rarely answer any email requests for quotes.

    No stars. The most horid car buying expierence of my life. What the salesman said was never so wrong when it came to signing time. Free for life oil changes turned into only the first one is free. The extended warranty triple in price from the sales floor to back room financial office. Go outside of Austin to buy. These guys are [non-permissible content removed].

    I was shopping all of the Ford dealers in town looking for the best deal on a new 2011 truck. I was working with the internet department of each since I didn't want to deal with the hassle of coming in and being assaulted by salespeople. I knew what I wanted and I knew how much I wanted to pay. One dealership located up north decided to not include the delivery fee (close to $1k) in any of their price quotes, which all other dealers included in their price quotes. They also got all butt hurt when they found out I was shopping dealers. Another dealer tried to lowball me on the trade-in appraisal, claiming that was the best quote I was going to get in the whole state - obviously not. LJ on the other hand gave me a straight up price/discount, that they honored, found me a truck that was what I was looking for and didn't try to screw me on my trade. They were fairly responsive to e-mails, I spent a rather minimal amount of time at the dealership before it was time to sign and the whole process was rather straightforward and pain free. I would definitely recommend them.
