Very Unprofessional& Unethical Car Dealer
by Saru Blalakrishnan on 09/29/2024updated 10/07/2024I live in Central Texas but had got a quote from a dealer in San Antonio. I had shared there quote & Howdy Honda (Mr. Rex Flaczynski) had agreed to meet their price and had said that his manager had agreed to that. We had agreed on the Out… of Door price and all of this was on txt message and clearly there was no miscommunication. Had selected the vehicle on the lot and when I there, to test drive, sign the papers and drive, they quoted $1200 more then the agreed price. I just walked out of that... didnt want to negotiate with them. I essentially didn't want to give them my business. I drove to Hill Country Honda, San Antonio and they honored the price quoted, signed and drove back. Very unpleased with HOWDY HONDA. NEVER AM I GOING TO THESE GIUYS.Willing to charge for the LoJack they pulled off
by KA on 06/19/2024I don't write negative reviews often nor without cause - check my review history That said, this has without a doubt been the 100%, absolute worst attempt at car buiyng I've ever experienced Started off by emailing the exact details of… what I wanted to do, the fact I had a clear title in hand on a 2022 BMW, and was looking to trade up a little to another better-spec'd BMW they had. Sal wrote back, saying it all sounded good and they were willin to make a deal Great! Okay, give me an estimate on my car's value! Sal, you need to come in! Me- BMW of Houston offered me 44K sight unseen give the spec Sal, we can't do that! 3 weeks go by Me, see the car's still available. Sal sub as Sal was OOO - yes but we've added loJack. Me - BMW's can be located without that Sal's super weak replacement - We can pull Lojack off, but will charge you for it. I have this recorded on audio. They lilterally said they'd pull the Lojack BUT STILL CHARGE ME FOR IT! Run, don't walk from this cluster of a "dealership"Great salesman awful finance department
by Great salesman awful finance on 09/19/2020Nick, the salesman, was awesome. When I contacted him by phone he was courteous and sent me a video of the car (I live 80 miles away). Every phone call and every text was informative and helpful. When I drove up to see the car he made us… feel welcome. That's the good. The finance department is a different story. The finance manager (some blonde lady whose name I cannot read on my paperwork) was initially kind but turned quite sour quickly. I have often looked at car salesmen as being the dishonest ones but this lady changed my view. They refused my Security Service financing which I had lined up when I walked in the door, and to get the car I had come from San Antonio to Austin to buy, forced me to use their in-house financing at 2.5 points higher than mine, then added several things above the purchase price that were “required”, which I did not want and should not have had to pay for. The experience with their finance person made it clear that whatever they felt they lost on the car price they more than make up for when you deal with the finance office. She quickly turned what was a nice experience into an affair I hope I never have to do again. From the addition of garbage I did not want on my deal (nitrogen in the tires, GPS tracking) to her very obvious frustration with me when I was unwilling to pay more than what I had intended she single-handedly ruined the experience. The only reason my rating is a two star is because of Nick, the salesperson, otherwise the rating would be one star. I will finish by saying that I have no plans to ever visit this dealership again, thanks to this lady’s complete lack of integrity. I hope that no one ever has to deal with her.
