    Stranded on an off ramp of 40E on a Saturday, 30 miles outside of Memphis, TN, we waited 4 hrs for a tow trunk to appear. Rachael and Jennifer at AutoNation Honda assured us that their service department was ready for us and indeed they were. Rachel and the service tech, Jesus, did a thorough exam of our car, showed us what was needed and ordered the necessary parts, They completed the repairs on Monday, allowing us to continue our journey home to VA that afternoon.
  • Finance Department was a disaster.

    Our salesman Walter was awesome and has helped us purchase three new cars in the past 3 months. However, during our last two transactions at Autonation Honda Covington Pike, we had a horrible experience while being assisted by John Ragland in the finance department. He messed up our paperwork over 3 times and had to fill out the paperwork all over again each time. We were there so long, Walter provided us with lunch. Not only me and my husband had difficulty with Mr. Ragland, but so did my parents when he continuously filled out their paperwork incorrectly. Mr. Ragland also did not have a customer service attitude and made my husband and I feel absolutely dumb when we would ask him a question. When we arrived at the dealership, Mr. Ragland was the first to approach us and told us we would receive a special interest rate for our purchase. However, we did not receive a special rate and when we confronted him about it, he could not even tell us what the rate was he was referring to. He then did not supply us with copies of all our paperwork and it took us making two phone calls to him just so he could send us these forms via email. The ONLY reason my rating got two stars is because of the awesome customer service Walter has provided us for many months. I will recommend all my family and friends to do business with Walter, but to avoid business with Mr. Ragland at all possible.

    I wanted my Android Auto to display the map on the console. The team worked to attempt to make it happen. Even used their phones and their Honda vehicles. Turns out it was my phone - that does not have an Android Auto that works on 2018 CRVs. Then as OI am checking out Rebecca even identified a discount. She also had prevented me from using up prepaid service since I only have 9,000 or so miles on my 2018 CRV. Great service.

    The serviced was completed in a timely manner on the date and time agreed upon. The dealer representatives checked on me several times to check if I needed anything, however I was not pleased with the price of the part and the service.

  • Outrageous

    My experience started off great. I took my car in to diagnose an issue. Check in was great and they called later in the day with the issue. When I went to pick my car up. The service guy located my key and gave it back to me. When I asked where my car was he said it's out there. He told me to push my panic button to locate my car. And then lackadaisically walked with me to locate my car in the back. Really, they have a garage area and in my experience they alway bring you your car. So of course when I got to my car there was plastic on the seat, and as expected was not removed, because they did not bring me my car. So in the end I paid $186 for a bad customer service experience. Why would anyone go to this dealership.

    Although it’s important to keep maintenance on my vehicle, I would appreciate a more thorough inspection. Typically, the recommended services are the most expensive. However, simple things need attention also. My windshield wipers tore a day or so prior to this visit. I held out on replacement on purpose. Now I have to question if I’m receiving quality service, considering no one noticed & offered me to purchase/replace new blades. In addition, I was left to research which wiper blades are the best on my own as opposed to possibly have an “expert” opinion. I understand sales is important, but what happened to superior, complete customer service irregardless of what additional services and/or products you can convince a customer to purchase or add? I’m disappointed! Let’s get back to the quality of service I’ve bragged on for the last 15+ years I’ve been a satisfied “Honda girl!”

    I had the best experience I’ve ever had with the very best salesman, David Howell!! He helped with my purchase of my 2018 Accord , but he actually should have gotten full credit that salesman was basically nonexistent! David Howell is the kindest, most helpful salesman I’ve ever had the pleasure of dealing with!!!

  • Maintenance at Dealership

    I took my car to the dealership after one of the drive through places couldn't get a cover off underneath the car. I called on Friday and got a Saturday morning appointment. When I arrived at the service department I was greeted promptly and the car was taken back for its first oil change and tire rotation. Pricing was the same as the quick lube place but I felt better about the service being performed properly with Honda recommended parts and trained technicians.

    This was my first visit to Autonation Honda Covington Pike and it did not disappoint. Andy was friendly, honest, and communicated thoroughly with me throughout the day on the status of my truck's service needs. I was also happily surprised that they offer a complimentary shuttle that drove me back to work so I did not have to wait there while my truck was being repaired. For any of my Honda needs, I will be returning here. The customer service is outstanding and the service was fairly priced. Do yourself a favor and ask for Andy when you visit!

    My experience at auto nation/ Honda was the best, as usual; prompt,courteous & professional!!I was impressed because I had a nail in the sidewall of a tire & Mike informed me that, because I took his suggestion, July,'19,& put a new set of tires on my wife's car, the new replacement tire was "no charge"!     The process was easy and not pressured. I walked in one day and spoke to Kristin. I had an idea of the kind of car that I wanted, so she took me to look at it as well as the trim just below it. After looking at the car and test driving it, she let me demo it for a few days. Upon returning, I purchased the exact model that I had tested. Warranties were offered for everything I could think of needing covered.
