Pam communicated the timeframe my services would take and went over services and the charges… prior to my car being taken to the service area. They were finished servicing My car around 15 minutes quicker than the estimated timeframe. I am overall pleased with the service me and my car received. Repaired Massive Failure in One Day
by 901Defender on 12/30/2022My Accord's alternator failed, leaving my family stranded in the middle of the road. I got it towed to AutoNation Honda Covington Pike, where I get routine maintenance done. I was able to get a 7 a.m. appointment online and made sure the… car was there and waiting. The service staff - specifically Terrell Wilkerson - made sure to get my car in, have it thoroughly inspected and called to explain the issues. He had a master Honda mechanic address the problems, and I was back on the road within 24 hours of the breakdown. It wasn't cheap, but it was fixed correctly for my aging car. I would never trust another mechanic to do this type of work. These are great people who enjoy taking care of their customers. I found this gentleman to be a breath of fresh air; he was knowledgeable and honest about their… inventory. Trey allowed us room to inspect the inventory and time to consider all the information that was received. Trey went up and beyond to make sure that we found the right vehicle , the right price and to make sure we felt comfortable with the whole interaction. Good experience with Rizwan
by Andy on 07/19/2022We did not expect to be in the market for a car, especially given the scarcity of cars and high prices. However, our 16-year-old car gave out, so we had no other choice. We have had good experiences with Hondas. We initially visited… Wolfchase Honda where we purchased our 2020 CRV and had a good experience. However, Wolfchase Honda was applying $5,800 in add-on charges for items that probably cost the dealer well under $1,000 because they knew they could take advantage of customers in the current market circumstances. Also, Wolfchase showed absolutely know consideration for the fact that we were a repeat customer. We then went to Autonation and met with Rizwan Khawaja. We found him to be highly professional, quite knowledgeable about each car and individual models, and easy to talk with. When I am in a purchasing situation like this, I like it when a salesperson is straightforward and treats me like an intelligent person rather than a dimwit that can be easily manipulated. Rizwan and I both knew that I did not have much bargaining power in the current market environment. But, he treated me respectfully all the same. The $4,100 in add-ons was still hard to swallow because I know it includes a fair amount of profiteering, but I also understand how supply and demand effects price. My experience with the dealer's finance person was decent, overall. I was annoyed with his attempt to sell me more add-ons and warranties, but I know he was just doing his job. My main reason for responding to this survey was to commend Rizwan. Honda should pull their license
by Jordan ybarra on 07/13/2022Worst staff ever sales person was the biggest conartist ever he said on yeah we did this and this when I ask questions and wanted a detailed listed he got mad and then was gonna try and stop out deal then his even more horrible boss said we… will give you 200 more on your trade but we have to take the tint off that I’m paying for in the mark up you have in the sticker when my trade was worth 38,000 and they gave me less than that and charged me 45k for a 38k car and when asked for details they said windows tint door stuff , weather mats and other stuff we didn’t getHi Jordan, we are deeply disappointed by your experience at AutoNation Honda Covington Pike. CRV Hybrid

David did some research and found out that the factory was planning to build on the color we wanted in… a few weeks. He kept us informed and called us when it arrived. This dealership does not stand behind it's work
by D and G on 05/23/2022Traveling across country from Arizona to East Tennessee. Serpentine belt came loose on freeway, and water pump quit working. Pulled off right away and called a tow truck. Had it towed to AutoNation Honda in Memphis TN on Covington Pike. Was… told they would get to it in the morning. Hired a car to take us to a hotel. The next morning Honda called to tell us we needed a serpentine belt and a water pump, as well as spark plugs. We authorized the work. They had to order the water pump which wouldn't be in until the next day. Now a two day stay in the hotel. The next day we were told they were starting on it and would see if there was additional damage to vehicle after taking things apart. We checked out of hotel and got another car to take us back to the dealer. Sat there for 6 hours. We asked whether there was additional damage and were told that no, everything was good to go. Paying nearly $2000 for the serpentine belt, water pump, spark plugs and labor. Now out $2500 with the repair, tow and hotel. We left, and drove about an hour when the car started running rough, all emergency lights came on the dash, and white smoke started coming out the exhaust. Pulled over in a rest area out in the sticks. Now it was after hours and couldn't call the dealer. Called another tow truck and had it towed to Murfreesboro TN....our destination. That tow cost $800. Left it at Murfreesboro Honda overnight with our key in the box, and a note regarding the issue. The next morning they called to tell us we either needed a new engine costing $8000 or $5000 worth of repairs. Our car is a 2014 Honda CRV, and only has 42,000 miles on it. First of all it's unbelievable that these issues would happen on a car with such low mileage, but the fact that the mechanic who repaired it obviously did not perform all tests possible to assure us that there was nothing else going on, beyond the performed repairs, I cannot even fathom. Called AutoNation Honda, on Covington Pike, to complain and were told that we can't expect them to drive it for an extended period of time to see if there's an issue. They just drove it around the block. We are furious. I would never recommend this AutoNation Honda, and I'm not even sure if I'd ever recommend a Honda! UPDATE.....have to get a new engine! Turns out the damage done to the engine is beyond repair. If that mechanic had done his job properly, I believe we wouldn't have had this issue and incured another $8000 in costs. Was contacted by General manager regarding another review we posted. He said he'd speak with the service advisor and get back to us.
