    I really enjoyed the car buying experience for the first time in my life! There were quick and so easy to work with. I never once felt like they were pushy salesmen. All the employees were super nice and worked really hard to find me the car I truly wanted and then worked even harder to get my a good deal for the car! I would recommend Herlong to everyone I know!!

    I am very pleased with the truck I bought. The salesman was very professional and knowlegeable ,made the whole buying process exceptional. Best buying experience I have ever had. Would reccomend Herlong Chevrolet to anyone looking to buy a vehicle.

    So I had been looking for a truck for some time. I had made several internet inquiries on various trucks to pretty much all the dealerships in my area. I was frustrated by the canned "Thank you for your interest" or "We have the best prices" emails, and it seemed no one wanted to actually talk price or do business via the internet. All of them kept urging me to come in....experience our vehicle and service. I am not that guy who goes to the dealership and spends all day in the cubicle trying to buy a vehicle. Well, Herlong proved that they are not that type of dealer. Not only was their price good, they beat my bank's financing. Moreover, they also did not attempt to charge me the bogus "Doc" fee. I found a 2015 High Country on their website and it was the very truck I was looking for; the same one that Hendrick of Cary would not make a deal on. I spoke to Reed Boykin who had one thing on his mind...making me a customer for life, and he did just that. I live approximately 200 miles away from the dealership, but Reed was willing to go the extra mile to not only secure the deal, but deliver it himself to Florence and finish the deal inside the truck. This speaks volumes and I was highly impressed with his level of service. Well done, Sir! Other dealers should take note of how it should be done...start by looking at the way Herlong does business. I truly appreciate the fact that buying my truck was not an arduous chore, but a welcome surprise. Thank you!

    My sales person Mr williams, frank, guy who explained advanced features of my car and Darlene were all very professional, honest and open with me at all times. As I ask questions about my sale and services they were all consistent with their answers.they were very respectful with each other and to my family and i.

    Buying a new truck can be a stressful process and I have had some bad experiences in the past at dealerships. However, I throughly enjoyed my experience at Herlong Chevrolet. My sales associate was Reed and I would highly recommend him. If you are in the market to buy and want to enjoy the experience, then I would highly recommend Herlong.

    DON'T GO HERE. I bought a used duramax truck for $34,800 with 86xxx miles on the truck I drive it off the lot with some bs 30 day 1000 mile warranty I drive the truck for 6 days then the problems start on the 6th day I go out to my truck and it was throwing a IAT code and A MAF code so I poped the hood and seen that there was some faulty wires around theme sensors some wires that had been siliconed in the a connector. I then proceeded to fix that and when I did that code cleared. Well as the day goes no I'm looking more in to the MAF sensor problem and open up the air intake to check the filter and the filter is not even connected to the air intake and it looked like it had not been changed or cleaned in five years. Long story short the truck should have never left the lot with those problems I still have not been able to to get the MAF sensor to clear I am going to have to take it to a real shop. Somebody trust worthy I hope. I contacted Herlong chevy about my issues and all they could say was get the truck up here so we could look at it well the MAF code on the truck it literally has me broke down and the truck on a limp mode 6 days after my purchase. I told theme to help me pay for the Tow fee because they are about 30 + miles from me and they couldn't even do that. Haha I thought it was 50/50 warranty or not they just won't you to come in and spend more money. If you are smart be smarter then me Don't risk you time or money messing with the dishonest stealership THEY ARE BAD PEOPLE. Salman who sold me truck was Michael,Jim,meryal
    • Timlime, We apologize for any inconvenience you have experienced. I know that we offered to pay for / reimburse any towing expenses that you would have incurred if it was determined that the error was ours but I don’t believe the vehicle was towed here. Jim, our Sales Manager, mentioned that he spoke with you at length about what you indicated the issues were and what repair attempts you made. Unfortunately, without the truck here, there is no way to determine what the cause it. Our goal is to leave customers completely satisfied so of course we will be more than happy to service your truck. The downside is, GM will not warranty repairs for anything a customer has attempted to repair / modify in any way. Please feel free to contact us any time to discuss this further.

  • Play on words, misleading

    Although I was initially happy with the customer service I received in the purchase of my 2008 Escalade, I was disappointed in my further dealings with the company. The side view mirrors were broken on the truck. When we brought this up they told us they would fix it at their cost. We agreed to this and it was written on the we owe. We live about an hour away from the company. We made an appointment and came back later to get the vehicle fixed as agreed. The appointment was for 8am. Since it's our only vehicle for our 4 kids I had to stay up there with the vehicle while it was getting fixed. After 2 hours the service department comes to me and asks if I was under the impression that this would not cost me anything. Of course I said yes. She then explained to me that what they "meant" was that they would fix it at "their cost" meaning I would pay their cost. I was already a little upset with this and that it took 2 hours for me to get this information. I said well how much is that going to be? It took another hour and a half for them to come to me with an estimate for $1400 to fix what was broken on the vehicle before we bought it. So I spent 3.5 hours at the dealership and 2 hours of driving for nothing to get done and they didn't even have the parts. So I would have to come back again anyway if I agreed to pay that ridiculous amount of money. Very highly disappointed and felt like a play on words.

    Was looking for a used Buick Regal GS this September as near to Atlanta as possible, and saw a certified preowned example at Herlong. Made a call and spoke with Ben Herlong, who was friendly and helpful. I made arrangements with him and made the trip on a weekday to take a look at the car. It was pulled around front waiting for me when I arrived, and I was able to take the test drive I wanted and look the vehicle over thoroughly without an ounce of pressure or impatience. Once decided, I sat down in Ben's office and we had an easy ten minutes of negotiating, shook hands, and the deal was done! I'm positive that things would NOT have been so easy at a big Atlanta dealer. Ben and the other employees worked things out with my preapproved third-party financing, cleaned the car, had me sign papers, and I was on my way. A totally painless experience. Check out their inventory online and make the trip if they've got what you want - you won't be disappointed!

    I worked with Cliff at Herlong Chevrolet Buick and had a surprisingly great, straightforward experience with him and the team at Herlong. It was a refreshing to not have the ‘sleazy’ car dealership experience one now expects to be the norm in buying a used car. Cliff was honest and accurate about the condition of the car over the phone and was a delight to work with in person. I can attest to their ‘no additional fees’ is true as well. The price of the car was the final cost on the documents in the finance office – once again, very refreshing. Great buying experience and very happy to recommend to anyone looking to buy from them. - RBS

    I just purchased a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from Herlong Chevrolet & Buick, and I am extremely happy with my purchase. My experience with every Herlong's employee was excellent. Everyone worked so hard to help and assist me. I gave salesperson, Cliff K, a list of items I was looking for in a vehicle and my price range, and Tanya did a great job of finding exactly what I was wanting!! They both did an amazing job, and they both truly care about the customers! I could not have found such luxury within a reasonable price range without them!! A huge thank you to everyone at Herlong Chevy & Buick that helped me through the whole car buying experience and making it go smoothly!

I just purchased a 2004 SSR (yellow fireball) from them and I would highly recommend this dealership. Thank you again Clif and Tonya for going the extra mile, you made my buying experience pleasant. Now, l'm going to get the car cleaned up and see if I can win a show trophy or two.

    Recently bought this vehicle from Herlong and cannot say enough about the trade in and price I received. The sales agent was very patient and helpful since I drove about 3 vehicles before deciding on the Lacrosse. The price was better than I ever expected. Lucked up with great rebates at the time. Have used their service department with my previous car and have always been pleased with the time I waited and the service. Very friendly staff and goes out of their way to make your buying experience a good one. I would highly recommend Herlong to anyone.

    The experience that I had with this particular was exceptional. Buying a vehicle has become a nightmare, but the Herlong dealership was everything but a nightmare. What made this such a good purchase was first; I owed more on my vehicle than what the trade in value was listed. Browsing the internet I contacted Herlong, and we agreed upon a price over the phone for my trade-in in less than 10 minutes. The questions were what do you want for trade, and I responded with the figures that I received through Kelly Blue Book and a few other sight that I had visited. The gentleman said ok we can do that, and the Camaro that I was inquiring about was very reasonably priced. I made the trip and the deal was done; I didn't have to waste time with price haggling ;-) I will recommend them to any of my friends that are looking to buy a vehicle.

    We drove 31.8 miles to Johnson this afternoon and man was it worth it. We were shown exactly what we wanted and the staff was extremely helpful. We were able to get a fair price for our 2012 and the staff directed us to our nearest credit union. From the moment we arrived until we drove off the lot (with the new car) we never felt pressured. We were given all the facts that we asked for, and the final bill was with-in my price range. I would buy from this dealership again!

    looked for a small suv, walked in after working all day, salesman didn't wat to get off the phone to show me the car. eberyone fussing at each other, especially the lady in the office on the end. was on the phone fussing about having to work and had to much to do. seemed they had too much going on to sell a car. wouldn't recommend them to anyone at all... environment to chaotic
