by Scott on 03/01/2020I was just browsing their selection and decided to see what my vehicle was worth. It was not even close to what my vehicle was worth and I was fine with that. 10 minutes later they called me and said they may be interested in my truck. I… told the girl on the phone they were not even close but she insisted I bring it in since it was low mileage they could work something out for me. Big waste of time! First the Jeep I test drove was junk. I didn’t like it but found one at another one of their lots I liked. This was a Thursday night so I made an appointment for Saturday to see the vehicle. They had 2 days to get it there but when I showed up Saturday the vehicle was still not there. The salesman said they were giving him a hard time and did not want to bring the vehicle over. First the battery was dead. Then another excuse. He called and they said it was there so he drove us over to see it. When we got there they said it was locked up in the shop. Salesman went to the shop and then came back and said they supposedly sold it. Now we are almost 2 hours into it. We drive back where he insists he can still find us a deal for all our trouble. My wife then asks him to check our truck out to make sure we are not wasting any more time. They looked at my truck a whole 2 minutes and came back and gave me 2 thumbs up and said he can give me what my truck is worth. So we take another vehicle out for a test drive. When we get back he now tells us he can only give me the original price I was quoted on line 2 days ago. 1/2 of what my truck is worth. 4 hours of my life I can never get back. Only gave them 1 star because I had to give something. I would never deal with Star 512 or any of their affiliates again. The people at PAG when we went to look for the other vehicle looked lost. How does nobody know they sold a vehicle I had an appointment to see? Worst experience trying to buy a car ever. I will be keeping my truck. Do the Carfax. I Carfax on 3 of their vehicles and all 3 had damage and 1 was a repo.Worst car buying experience ever
by Munson on 06/13/2019Buyer beware - worst car buying experience ever. They had the car I wanted and it was reasonably priced so scheduled some time to go take a look. That is where the good ends. Al the salesman Joe the sales manager all the way up to Glenn… ruined this experience and left a bad enough taste in my mouth to right this review.... I called ahead and showed up at the dealership which they assured me they would have the car I wanted to see ready up front for a test drive. So I got there and turns out the car was not at that location and they told me I would have to return some other time to see it or travel to another one of there locations to see it because they could not get anyone to drive it over. So I treked over to their next location. Test drive the car and said I was interested but concerned over a noise. Al the salesman assured me they would look over the car and make sure everything was in order. We worked out the deal and bought the car. Got in and thought the sound was still there. Told Al who said they looked at it and everything was fine... fast track a month later was still hearing the noise and called Al who said they would take a look at it make sure everything was ok. Brought the car back and they serviced the car and performed oil change and looked into the noise and said nope everything was fine. Even offered the oil change at no charge... He said since it was a large SUV I was probably not use to the way the car sounded. Fast track another month and still concerned something was not right I decided to schedule a service with manufacturer dealership. Listed same problems I told Al. They test drove the car and within an hour told me what the problem was and that they assured me it was the wheel bearing and hub. I called Al who pushed me to Joe who pushed me to Glen this process took a whole week before Glen then told me sorry we are not covering it. I told him but I bought the car with this problem and he said sorry it would not be covered under the warranty. Which I told him not concerned about the warranty as you sold me this car with this problem from the beginning. He refused to correct the issue and said that I shouldn't have bought the car then. The whole time sold me on the fact that if there was any problems they would take care of it. In my opinion they can not be trusted. If they have what you want and you are not deterred by this review make sure you do your homework and have your own mechanic take a look before purchasing in my opinion they can not be trusted and don't live up to there word.
