Beaverton Service Department is Terrible
by Mark Terrill on 07/22/2025Well yet again I've had zero communication with anyone from the service department, this is getting to be the norm. I spoke with Tyler on the phone, sent him pictures of the missing pieces of trim. I even sent a video of them being loose… following you having it for a month of the missing pieces on my Silverado EV, text him again asking if he had heard anything. Crickets, no response (I have the text thread saved if anyone wants to see it). Then I receive a Review request on my service, that I never had. I'm not really sure why I even bother taking my car to the Beaverton Service department, it's bad experience after bad experience. We've bought about 7 cars from you in the past 10 years and the service department might make this our last. Not really sure what's going on there, but it's not good.Bad experience
by Wilsonj on 12/03/2024Had an oil change and recall for the rear end locking up done and when i got my truck back both rear tpms sensors are not working. The response I got was the sensors need to be replaced for a cost of almost $400. Everything was fine when I… drove it in then they both go out as soon as they update the software for the rear end. Sounds a little weird to me.Yukon repairs

by LanaTeeDubya on 01/02/2023Equinox was suddenly acting strange. Sputtering and dying. Spoke with Brandon via phone who recommended I get battery checked ASAP at a parts store as a first step. Did that- battery was ok. Then called back and Brandon helped me set up… an appointment. I managed to drive the vehicle into the shop (it died multiple times on the way) and made it 30 mins before closing. Shop was closing early due to New Years Eve holiday and I had prepared to not have vehicle looked at/repaired for 4+ days, arranged for alternate transport to work and disruption to my life due to broken down car. But- employee Tyler Bradshaw came through like a wizard and made sure my terrible year ended on a bright note! He quickly diagnosed the issue and said he was going to be staying over a bit past closing anyway and could help. Was able to replace solenoids immediately and get me on my way within the hour. I have to say, I’ve had several disappointing experiences with this business in the past and had not planned on continuing to come to Carr for maintenance. This changed everything for me. by Tonka12 on 07/01/2018Overall my experience was good. However, do to the last visit cracking my housing unit for the transfer case I am questioning the quality of work being performed on my truck. I feel that this was a pretty big miss on Chevy's part. I'm… just glad I wasn't going on my summer trip we always do which would have resulted in much more damage.Bad customer service
by Chad468 on 04/07/20180 stars would be given if possible. Their parts department are rude and refuse to give OEM parts numbers. Obviously your out of luck unless you buy from them. I've left complaints with the parts dept. and general managers. Neither of them… responded. They are a terrible representative of the GM company and I'll be talking to GM corporate also. Service dept are pompous and don't listen to customers. They are treated as ignorant.Chad, we understand the frustration your experience has caused and appreciate you taking the time to let us know how we can improve our customer service. Sometimes we are bound by the restrictions of the manufacturer's policies and that can create confusion and misunderstanding. We deeply regret the inconvenience it has caused. by Scammed on 01/13/2018Long story short:In November I took car in for oil change and told them my car had been leaking oil. They changed oil and said they found no leak. Days later car still leaking oil. I call service and they tell me it's common for a little… leakage after an oil change.January leak really bad, I take car in, they tell me both gaskets are leaking and the oil pan has a dent and has to be replaced plus new brakes (the brakes I knew needed replacing). The cost: $3,000. I declined service, took it to an independent mechanic who told me there absolutely was no dent in oil pan, it did not need to be replaced. He said "this dealership is know for this kind of stuff". Beware if you have service done at Carr. If in doubt, get a second opinion. Glad I did.Owner

by Scratch68 on 04/08/2016I took my vehicle in to resolve a door opening issue for both front doors. It was extremely difficult to open, in fact I had to lower the front driver window and open from the outside. They adjusted the parts that opened the door. That was… great, except, they did not solve the issue. It is a little better now, but still difficult to open. In addition, they took the handle section from the outside of the door to work on the issue. When they replaced it, they did not insure that it was tight and would not leak. It will leak at the first rain. I spent good money , however I am faced with their minimum charge to continue the repair. Plus I lack confidence in the workmanship. I am not sure I will ever return to Carr. I purchased that vehicle from them and had most repair work done by them. This is the first time Carr has failed to perform.electrical repair
by chevypu70 on 02/22/2016I brought my2014 Silverado truck in because the electric door locks were rapidly locking/unlocking while I was driving. Nothing was found to be wrong because they could not reproduce the problem in the shop or on the road. Nothing was… fixed but the problem has not occurred since it first happened a few days before I brought it in. I guess I will have to wait until it occurs again.Great Service!

by Zanisushi on 03/14/2015I bought a new car at Carr Chev so that I wouldn't have to deal with car repairs. I went back 5 times to get a tire fixed. Same tire leaked each time after a month or two. After two or three times at the latest they should have replaced… it. After less than 25,000 miles with still tread left they tell me I need to replace all the tires because they never rotated them and the treads are thin so they can repair the slow leak. The Chev Cruz has quite a few recalls racking up as well. I won't buy Chev again and I will never buy from Carr again. If they can't fix a tire or know when to replace it then I don't want them around any car I own.Carr Chevy is the best

Competitive prices, loaner cars if needed or courtesy shuttle if not. When I wait for an oil change, it's… never very long, even when they are busy. Comfortable lounge and lots of great vehicles to look at while waiting. Staff is courteous and friendly.Horrible just horrible
by agselec on 07/28/2007Didn't get any work done. Had a service engine soon light on. Previously had 2 false codes. Would not just scan code. Wanted car all day. Story is very long and I have already written 4 letters. I believe it was a bait to have work… that didn't need to be done, done.
