Carr Chevrolet
Dealership Service Review
Long story short:In November I took car in for oil change and told them my car had been leaking oil. They changed oil and said they found no leak. Days later car still leaking oil. I call service and they tell me it's common for a little leakage after an oil change.January leak really bad, I take car in, they tell me both gaskets are leaking and the oil pan has a dent and has to be replaced plus new brakes (the brakes I knew needed replacing). The cost: $3,000. I declined service, took it to an independent mechanic who told me there absolutely was no dent in oil pan, it did not need to be replaced. He said "this dealership is know for this kind of stuff". Beware if you have service done at Carr. If in doubt, get a second opinion. Glad I did.
