Great customer service!
by Avatar Bob on 05/04/2025I bought a used car at Liberty Ford in Maple Heights, and the team there was terrific. I had researched cars in advance and was interested in one in particular there, so I scheduled an appointment with Marcus Durden. The car was very… clean and was ready and waiting when I arrived, and Marcus was there to welcome me on time. He explained the features, gave me a summary of the extensive pre-sale conditioning that had been done, and accompanied me on a long, relaxed test drive. We reached a deal cordially and with no pressure, which I greatly appreciated. I asked about a service agreement, and the finance manager explained the options and guided me to the one that best met my needs after I explained them--the least expensive option, it turned out--and again, there was no pressure. I had some uncommon requests as part of the deal, and the general manager, Sean Forsythe, listened to them, addressed them to my complete satisfaction, and was extremely understanding and gracious throughout. The customer service throughout the whole process was excellent and I am very happy with my new-to-me, beautiful car. Thank you, Liberty Ford Maple Heights team!Painless

by Andrew Otto on 12/30/2023I will never buy a car from here again. I bought a vehicle with less than 30,000 miles on it and within two weeks I had to pull over because it was smoking. I pulled over to see the front left brake was locked up. I had to get all new… brake pads, calipers, and rotors for the front. This was $1,300 out of my pocket before I even made the first payment on it. I called to ask if they would help out with this in any way seeing it had only been a few weeks. It took weeks till I was even able to talk to someone on the phone. They kept telling me to just leave a message on a machine they transferred me to. I ended up leaving three different messages weeks apart seeing no one would talk to me each time I called. When I finally got to talk to someone he said it was a mechanical failure so it wasn’t on them. He asked if I bought any of the warranties they offered which I did not. He said too bad and hoped I learned a lesson from this. I understand I assumed the responsibility by not paying for a warranty but for a vehicle this new and expensive you would think they would want to help and cover some of the cost. Also with it being something like brakes which they claim to check you think it would be covered in some way. Instead, I was ignored for weeks of calling and then treated like a child for not paying for one of their warranties. I have gotten better customer service at a grocery store. If this seems fair to you feel free to buy a car from them. They were great as far as selling me a vehicle. Once they had their money I was ignored and treated like a child for not buying a warranty. $1,300 for brake-related issues before my first car payment is absurd. Being ignored for weeks is bad customer service. Being told that “I hope you learned a lesson” from sales management is condescending and rude. I do have one positive thing to say. If you’re fine buying a car from someone in a Walmart parking lot you will love this place, same peace of mind.ram 1500
