Best car buying experience in 40 years!
by Danny H on 01/07/2023I brought my vehicle in for service. Joe the service manager was very responsive, kind and great to work with. As I was waiting overnight for parts I decided I didn't want to put the money into it. I began shopping their cars online. I… found a 2013 Chevy Equinox. I sent a message to see if it was still available and immediately received a phone call. The communication was top notch. Dino walked me completely through the process, making it a seamless, smoothe transition. Every person that worked there greeted me in passing. Not only was it a friendly experience but it was super easy. The finance guy worked with me making it a fair transaction for both of us. I'm sorry I don't remember his name but he was really great to work with. So many people congratulated me but more importantly thanked me for my business. If I'm still in the area I will definitely visit Bob Caldwell for future service and purchases! This is coming from someone who hates buying cars because it always seems shady, like you're being taken advantage of. This was the best car buying experience I've had in my 40 years of buying cars!Wow! This is a review to share in the dealer gathering and can't say enough to show my appreciation for painting a picture on the pulse of the dealership. Can't say this is everyday at Bob Caldwell but to hear and see a response like this really makes me appreciate the culture and quality of folks I've had the fortunate opportunity to work with. Dino is the reason why we return to this dealership. My husband loves his new Jeep and so do I.Heck of an endorsement for Dino and happy to see it. He has worked very hard for the last 5 years to earn the return business and happy to see his 2nd, 3rd, and occasional 4th sales to the same individuals. They suck promise leather seats had it in contract .

There is a purchase agreement in which it should be itemized and also our process is to have every customer fill out a "WE OWE" form in which if the customer or dealer owes the other something it's put on this form. Superb customer service
by Andrew timselk on 10/02/2022Great selection and keep in mind they’re a velocity dealership so they already give you the best price available.Thank you Andrew and clearly you have some automotive background as "velocity" is not a general term that is used, but yes we price the average Pre-owned vehicle 3% less than our competition to reduce the amount of negotiation time. I had limited time on Saturday to look the vehicle over and he accommodated me very easily. When I came back on Sunday to do the actual test drive and to… finalize the deal he was very helpful, extremely knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him at any point in time if you are in search of a new vehicle. In fact everyone there that I dealt with was a pleasure to work with from Angela to Mike to Brian. In 1950, Ruth Ann Caldwell encouraged her husband Bob to follow his dreams. Later that year, Bob opened a small car lot in Columbus on High Street with the slogan "Where High Street Bends, Your Car Worries End." After 16 years of success selling quality used vehicles Bob Caldwell was approached by Chrysler to open a franchise on Morse Rd. He did so in November 1967 and Bob Caldwell Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram was born.
Fast forward to today and we have celebrated our 50th year of operation, still family owned and operated by Bob's three daughters and we have welcomed the 3rd Generation with Justin Harmon as the General Manager. We have grown to over 115 employees and we are thankful for every year that we get to serve the City of Columbus, State of Ohio and all our surrounding neighbors.
