by joan1984 on 01/05/2015I just purchased my first Mini Cooper S from Flow Mini of Raleigh and I can't compliment the team enough for providing me with an excellent sales experience. My motoring advisor, Mike Robinson, was outstanding. He did an excellent job… during my test job of selling me on the features of the Mini Cooper. When I ordered my car, he was very supportive and candid as I selected my upgrades. He kept me informed during each step of the ordering process and had me truly excited about receiving my car. When it was delivered, not only was it gleaming in the showroom, but Mike did an excellent job of taking me through the details of operations. The service did not end once I took delivery of the car, but he and the Flow Mini team have followed up to ensure I was happy with my purchase and to ensure all my questions have been answered. To say I have been delighted with my purchase would be an understatement. So, I recommend the Mini Cooper and Flow Mini of Raleigh if you are looking for true driving excitement !!Love MY New Mini Cooper Clubman!

One particularly boring Saturday I got up and said, "today is the day" that I would head over to the Mini car dealership. When I arrived, I… was greeting by Michael R. He was warm and inviting and I instantly knew that I wanted to buy a car from him. He found out what was important to me and how I could have all those things in a Mini. However, this was not the Saturday that I was prepared to buy a new car. After showing me any and every car on the lot that fit my needs and personality, we exchanged phone numbers and planned to meet another day. During the course of the following week questions would pop into my head and I'd reach out to Michael who was always more than willing to answer any question. Scheduling conflicts kept getting in the way of our planned meeting, so we decided to wait a week and meet on the following Tuesday, but just one week after first seeing and testing driving the Countryman, it was all I could thing of and I had to have one. I told Michael that I would be to Flow Mini on Saturday and that I was ready to buy a car. He met me and my family on time and provided the best customer service that I've ever received while purchasing a car. Michael R was a class act and I will recommend that everyone I know who is in need of a new car to visit him. Unfortunately, that experience with a local dealer- NOT Flow- felt artfully wily and full of crafty twists and… turns. Our experience with Michael R and the Flow family in Raleigh was like a breath of fresh air; Mike educated us about the vehicle. His attention to detail and his knowledge of how to care for the car was unparalleled to anything we've experienced. There was no pressure to buy a certain vehicle. Mike helped us clarify what we wanted in a car and he went to extraordinary measures to find the right Mini for us. I have drunk the Mini Flow koolaide and it was unique, fun, and refreshing. Mike remembered me from a previous visit and remembered what I was looking for in a car. He called me on 8/29/14 about… 2:45pm and I left with my dream car that evening. Mike was knowledgeable and patient. He answered all my questions and was attentive to my likes and dislikes. I could tell that his goal was to make me happy, but not give me false hopes. Mike asked what we were looking for in a Mini and directed us to the only automatic convertible on the lot. We… each test drove and fell in love with "her". My husband had done quite a bit of research prior to our visit and Mike had answers to all of his questions. Mike had me call him after I drove her home to Morehead City on Sunday. Not sure of how many salesmen work 24/7 but apparently Mike does! Mike made our experience with your dealership one of fun and all with absolute respect to us, the customer. When If irst time meet him on the lot in the Fall of 2013, I informed him that I would not be ready to buy a car until spring of 2014. He asked me if he could… reach out to me by end of February first of March and that is just what he did. No harrassing phone calls or emails in between that time. When he reached out, I gave him my price points and payment information. I informed him that I was wanting a certified Mini. He not only kept me in my price range, but I am $20 less on my car payment than I told him. Maurice in the finance office also is a winner, not one time did he try to renegotiate the terms me and Michael had decided on once I got in the finance office. But the winner for me with Mike was when a month after my purchase I had an incident with my vehicle and rain. I called him for some insight and he not only answered my question, but assisted me with my issue. What dealership still goes above and beyond after they have their commission? I tell you Mike and the team at Flow Mini are a Class Act and I will be buying my next Mini from this dealership!Second Time Around

Given that I knew I wanted to lease a Mini, I at least only had to visit one dealership. Our salesman was Merle F, who is a really cool guy. He was… courteous, prompt with information, and has a laid-back personality that put me instantly at ease. He listened to what I was looking for and did everything in his power to make it happen. One aspect that particularly impressed me was his timely communications. He kept me apprised of every step of the process, without my having to ask, which was fantastic! I would highly recommend Merle to anyone considering purchasing a Mini. He personally drives a Mini, so his advice and information about the car have integrity. He was extremely helpful and polite while walking my wife through the steps in picking out just exactly which Mini was the right… one for her. He then was able in less than a day to find the car she had chosen. He also was very helpful in explaining our payment choices. We ended up choosing the .9% financing. Again, I can not emphasize enough the pleasant experience it was in purchasing my wifes Mini with Michael's help.Great Experience at Flow
by vjillian on 03/14/2013updated 09/08/2025The team at Flow MINI of Raleigh is all great, but a few team members stand out - Maurice W, my original MINI Motoring Advisor and Kelvin B, the General Manager. They were beyond patient with my must-haves and dislikes. The car I wanted was… not on the lot (I wanted dark interior panels), but that same night they found one in route to someplace else, worked a miracle and had it delivered to the dealership. Maurice is no longer my advisor and has since left my MINI needs in the hands of Michael R. I was hesitant at first to trust the new guy because my thought was After Maurice who could be better? I have already developed a friendship with Maurice. Who is this guy? Needless to say, I am so glad that I let my guard down. Mike has become my MINI go to guy as well as friend. He is knowledgeable about everything MINI. I appreciate his kindness and honesty when I ask his opinion of anything related. I never feel like Id been steered in the wrong direction. He is a great asset to MINI. To sum this up: I love my car, but the friendships that I have made at Flow MINI of Raleigh are priceless.Thanks vjillian for sticking with the "new guy". Flow MiNi is fortunate to have a team that is focused on the total customer service experience. I am pleased to know that we have earned your loyalty, and we will work diligently to maintain it. From the very start of the process I felt well looked after. Michael R worked very hard to… help me find my PERFECT MiNi. When that day came and after papers were signed and I drove off the lot... he and the staff at Flow MiNi Raleigh still kept in touch to ensure I was doing well and enjoying my new car. I have never experienced that type of customer care in car sales. Mike R and the team at Flow MiNi give me confidence that for as long as I have the MiNi, I will have them there for support and to assist me with any needs.
