Fantastic Car Buying Experience!

The buying experience was great, too. Michael helped us order just the car we wanted, kept us posted as it was… being built and shipped, and took all the time we needed to orient us to every one of its features. We are loving our car! There really is something about having a Mini.... It's a great conversation starter wherever we go and always earns us smiles and waves on the road. Both purchases were extremely easy, no pressure and I got great deals. After the sales, he stayed and continues to stay in touch… to make sure that all was well with the cars. "One price on used cars"?

After test driving and going through trade in / and financing was told the listed price was the only value they could sell for (a car that has been in inventory for 5 months). Also, they said… they have a one price policy on used autos, which isn't listed anywhere on the dealer website... and the price is ~2500 over edmunds.com value and a nominal value under the price of a new model with the same features.Super customer focus!

For someone who is focused on the client experience as part of my responsibility,… I am very critical at times about good customer care when I am on the receiving end. I met Michael R at Flow Mini of Raleigh to see what they had available. I was planning to purchase a used MINI Cooper but had not driven one. I explained this to Michael and also told him I already had my eye on 3 diff ones at used lots in Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill. What happened next was a great customer experience in my opinion. Michael understood I would not be purchasing a new vehicle but offered to tell me about them and also let me drive one. He informed me that if I found a MINI I liked at another dealer that I could send him the VIN number and he would be happy to provide history around the service information so that I would know if the vehicle had been serviced properly or if by Flow Mini. That built some trust quickly. End result, I went back to Flow MINI and found a nice used 2012 Cooper that I purchased from Michael. Forget any negative image you may have of a typical car salesman and picture this: a… good listener, caring, sincere, professional, patient, intelligent, pro-active, people-person, knowledgeable, prompt, goes the extra mile, dedicated and last but not least a friend. Michael treats me as if I'm the only client he has and usually responds to any question or concern I may have in a very timely manner. I cannot say enough good things about the positive experience I have had with Michael and Flow Mini of Raleigh in general. Each time I go in for service I am greeted as if I'm an old friend they haven't seen for a while. This lets me know that I am a valued customer to Flow Mini of Raleigh. Excellent New Car Buying Experience!

After about a year of looking, her old car was paid off and it was time to get a new one. We had made several trips to Flow Mini over the course of a year and I have… to say the salesman we met initially had always gone out of his way to answer all of our questions. We also took several test drives to compare models. I am physically handicapped and use a walker. I can't begin to tell you the extra trouble our salesman went to to accommodate me. We finally decided on a Clubman S. When they did not have the exact color we wanted in stock, our salesman found the one we wanted at another dealership and they brought it in for us. Bottom line, my wife got the exact car she wanted at a fair price and we were treated like royalty! Michael R, you win the Salesman of the Year Award in my book! Maurice you also did a great job of quickly getting us through the finance paperwork part of the purchase.Thanks for shopping Flow MINI of Raleigh. Who is that, you may… ask? Michael R. He's the guy who helped me when my first dear Mini decided to retire. With Mike, finding my new Mini was a terrifically smooth and fun experience. Mike is really, truly a great advisor. Ask for him or one of his cohorts at Flow and you will be treated with respect and also good humor (if you're that kind of person). When you read the good reviews about Mike on here, you can believe them. It was my experience as well. I now have my second Mini and we are tooling around town making great memories near and far. I am not anticipating replacing this car anytime soon - you know they last a long time! but I plan to get any future Minis from Flow and Mike. I think my husband needs one now! From start to finish, this was the best car buying experience of my life - and that's saying something - I've had no less than… 12 cars in the past 20 years! Mike was a complete professional and answered every question I had (and there were MANY!) and I drove away in my dream MINI, feeling like part of the Flow family. I truly feel like Mike rolled out the red carpet for me... from adding the accessories I wanted, to the unveiling of my car, to going over every detail, and his follow-up since my purchase has been stellar. I might also add that I traveled from Charlotte to Raleigh to purchase this car... while there was an identical car in Charlotte (no names necessary here!) I got a straight-forward, phenomenal deal at Flow, and was treated like a rock star! Definitely worth the drive - I'd do it again tomorrow! My salesman, Michael R, was a truly wonderful person in that customer satisfaction was his top priority. My new Countryman, his name is Otto from… Oxford (where he was built), far exceeds my expectations. It's performance, power, gas mileage and, of course, looks is a winning combination. My whole experience with Mini Flow of Raleigh was just a positive experience from start to finish (which includes their financing assistances). Best car-buying experience EVER!!

Michael knew I wasn't a buyer, but he still spent a good amount of time showing me options and the new… roadster. When my husband got the "Mini" madness after driving my Cooper-S, we stopped by the dealership late on a Saturday to see Michael. He let us drive the roadster and two Clubbies. And helped my husband choose the best one to replace his pickup truck. Michael and the finance folks (who were awesome, too) stayed very late on a Saturday to finalize the sale. Michael even took it upon himself to put Maggie (the Clubbie) in perfect order for our delivery since the detail crew had been long gone for the day. Just another extra step Michael took for us. The Mini Cooper itself is a ton of fun, but when you couple that with the customer service and personalized attention from their Motoring Advisor, Michael R, you end up with a fabulous… experience AND a great performing car. Believe me, I was dreading it so much as I have never had a very good experience buying cars as it seems to take as… long to buy a car as it does a house but this was such a different experience and a fun one if you can believe that! It was also my very first time buying a brand new car so already I was anxious. Every single question was answered and every single need was met. I can still call Michael or anyone there for that matter with any questions I may have! Not only are they sales people, they are friends.
