  • Awesome Customer Service at Town and Country Toyota

5 out of 5 starsby CustomerJ on 04/28/2016

Jett Halko at Town and Country Toyota, Charlotte, NC, provided outstanding customer service when we had our 2010 Toyota Corolla recently serviced. She was very personable and professional and took the time to explain all services needed and provided. Also, she expertly answered all questions. She gave us a lot of confidence as she clearly knows her work. Finally, all the work was completed to our complete satisfaction and in a timely manner. We look forward to returning to Jett Halko and the super service department.

  • GREAT Service

5 out of 5 starsby phishklein on 04/13/2016

Town and Country Toyota is one of the best dealerships I've taken my car. Curtis was my contact and he was prompt, professional, personable, and dedicated to providing me great customer service. As a business owner myself, I would love to have Curtis on the front lines interacting with clients. The service was completed exactly on time as they told me when I arrived, and I felt comfortable that the work completed was done right. Due to timing, I had previously had an oil change at Scott Clark Toyota, and it was an absolute terrible experience, and I still wonder if they messed up my car. Not only did a simple oil change take over 3 hours, when they promised me 1 hour, the car was idling very low and strange upon pick up. I complained, and they indicated they forget to do something. Took the car from me, and returned 30 minutes later....who knows!! Town and Country is my strongly preferred Toyota dealership in the Charlotte area, and even though it is a little out of the way for me, it is well worth it! Thanks!

  • Great Service Advisor

5 out of 5 starsby rkimrey on 04/12/2016

My Service Advisor at Town & Country Toyota-Scion in Charlotte, NC was Excellent. This was the first time that Ms. Georgette Halko has help me at this Service Department and I was very Impressed with her Professionalism. She greeted me at my car as soon as I arrived. She listened to my concerns, Explained exactly what they were going to do to correct my problem and assured me that she would contact me with any updates. She contacted me one time to explain that I needed a small part and she explained why I needed it, what the price would be and why I needed the part. My Vehicle was ready to go on schedule and Ms. Halko explained to me what they had done to my vehicle and made me feel like she really wanted me to have a great experience. I recommend this Service Department to anyone that wants a stress free service of their vehicle.

My service advisor, David Kennely, at Town and Country Toyota was very courteous, helpful and prompt. I took my 4Runner in for my 10,000 mile service and had a great experience.

Not happy that I was sold a van with an easy access seat and the dealership does not know how to work on them.

I contacted Curtis Hodge after our service, because I forgot to bring in a 5% off service coupon, and left him a voice mail, asking if he could apply this 5% discount towards my payment. I never heard back from him.
  • Poor Customer Experience

1 out of 5 starsby ChrisQuinn on 03/30/2016

A/C stopped blowing in our Prius, so I made an appointment for a Saturday morning. I arrived on time and still had to wait 20 minutes before a Service Adviser came over to help us. We were one of two cars in the bay, so I'm not sure what they were so busy doing. My Service Adviser told me that we would get a call in a couple hours once the Technician diagnosed the problem with the A/C. We did not hear from Toyota until the end of the day, right before they closed, and the Service Advisor told us they would order the part first thing Monday morning and call me by 10am. Monday came and I did not hear anything, so I called around 2pm. After listening to the same automated message repeat three times before finally transferred me to a person. I asked to speak with my Service Advisor, so they transferred me to his line and no one picked up. The voicemail message wasn’t even his, so I had no idea if they got my message or not. I waited an hour without hearing back, so I called again. Same thing happened: listened to the same automated message three times, talked to the same person, and they sent me to the same voicemail. I waited another hour and called back again, going through the same process, but this time asking the person if they can physically hand the phone to my Service Adviser. They said they are in a different part of the building, so they cannot, but they transferred me to the Service Manager instead. I got her voicemail and left another message. I waited another hour and a half, now 5:30pm, and called back again. The same Service Receptionist picked up, but this time they apologized and offered to physically walk down and hand my information to someone and wait there while they called me back. I finally get a call back at 6:30pm, over 8 hours after I was expecting to find out the status of my repair, and I get excuses “Sorry, man, I had all sorts of stuff happen this morning and I wasn’t in until late.” Then I find out my car will not be ready until Tuesday morning because the part was not ordered first time as promised. On Tuesday morning, I get multiple calls from the Service Director and Service Manager, both leaving messages saying my car is ready to be picked up. I guess they realized how much they screwed up on Monday and were trying to make up for it. I talked with my Service Adviser around 11:15am and asked for a shuttle to pick me up from home. He said the shuttle would leave shortly to come get me. An hour and a half later, the shuttle still has not arrived, so I call to leave a message and go through the same frustrating process as Monday. After leaving voicemails for the Service Adviser, Service Manager, and even the Service Director when no one else returned my call, I finally get a call from the driver around 1pm. He drove to Gastonia! I live in South Charlotte, 15 minutes from the dealership, so now he’s 45 minutes in the wrong direction. He shows up at 1:45pm, 2.5 hours from when I requested the shuttle. Super nice guy, but he took his eyes off the road twice to check his phone while driving me to the dealership. Did not feel safe, but I was grateful for the ride. Finally at the dealership, my Service Adviser is on the phone! Ironic. I have to wait almost 15 minutes before he runs in with the paperwork and says they will give me a 20% discount and a free service next time. I told him how important communication is to me, as a customer. I said it doesn’t matter if the estimate is wrong, but you have to communicate and at least let me know what’s going on, either way. I’ve been living in Charlotte for over 5 years and have had my Prius routinely serviced at Town and Country Toyota, but after this experience I do not want to go back, especially for any non-routine repairs. The level of service and communication has certainly gone downhill, and they just don’t seem to care about providing a good customer experience.
  • Fast service

I was there with my 2 young kids around 11:15AM and there were lots of customers waiting when we get inside the customers lounge. Dave, the toyota service tech was so accommodating and told me that he will do everything to make my waiting a little shorter and he did... It was a very fast service... Thank you.
  • Outstanding sales experience

5 out of 5 starsby SeniorChiefOS on 03/30/2016

My family and I purchased a 2016 Toyota 4Runner Trail edition and I must say that I am very happy with the whole process. There was no pressure, every question I had was answered, and I didn't have 3 salesmen trying to corner me nor making false promises. The salesman was very professional and the price was cheaper than a base SR5 4x4 at another dealership on Highway 74. Great job Town and Country.
  • Couldn't of asked for a better experience in buying my truck!

5 out of 5 starsby terrihuff on 03/28/2016

After spending 2 days driving around town looking for my new truck, I found myself in Town & Country Toyota used car lot. Upon entering the building, I knew this was going to be a different experience. I wasn't stalked by a salesperson, rather greeted by one of the managers. Once I told him what I was looking for, he explained the pricing at their dealership, what the difference of certified vs non-certified, and the value that my Tacoma holds. He then put me in touch with Jeff to go and search for my truck. We walked out to the lot, and we looked out what they currently had in stock. I settled on a certified 2013, and having done my shopping, felt like this was an excellent value. No haggling the price as the price that is on the truck is the price you pay. They cleaned it up, filled it up and completed the paperwork quickly and I was out the door a happy customer. Jeff even followed me home to drop off my car. I can't say I am a fan of car shopping (and I do it every 2 years) , but this was actually pleasant.
