    Ruben Negron, the service manager, held my car for over two weeks for what should have been a straightforward recall, oil change, and rim replacement. The problem? Despite paperwork showing the recall was completed — and Ruben personally confirming it — the work was never done. I only discovered this when Kia Corporate contacted me six months later to notify me that the recall was still outstanding. When I confronted Ruben and the Kia West Nyack team, he lied to my face, claiming I told them not to perform the recall because "I didn't want the engine moved" (no idea what this even means, it was never discussed and sounds like a poorly thought out excuse. Regardless, their own paperwork directly refuted this. And honestly, what reasonable person would be fine leaving their car at a dealership for two weeks just for an oil change and rim replacement? Not only did I lose those two weeks without my vehicle, I then had to bring it to Kia White Plains, who completed the recall in under 24 hours (would recommend them, by the way). I also shared my experience with Kia Corporate (who did nothing) and the dealership’s ownership group, Dennis & Co. Auto Group, who simply referred me back to the very same dealership. Kia of West Nyack should be ashamed of how they treat customers, especially when the recall in question carried a fire risk. Do yourself a favor: go to a different Kia dealership, and avoid Dennis Auto Group dealers altogether.

  • Scammed Out of Money with Little Care

    I recently got an oil change from this dealership and found out I needed to change out my brake pads. For brake pad replacement, brake fluid and an oil change, this establishment tried charging me upwards of $1100!! Of course that's absurd, with the help of two lovely gentleman -- Steph & Mike -- my price was brought to $988. That's right, still nearly $1K. We went back and forth for hours on the pricing and before we landed at a final price the work was done so I didn't really have a choice but to pay. What appalled me was that although the parts were less than $400, I was charged $700 for 6hrs worth of labor when this job took no less than 1 hour realistically to do. It was explained to me that this is just standard procedure to charge 2hrs worth of labor for each part of a job. Which is INSANE. The management at this establishment should be ashamed of themselves for being such scam artists and taking advantage of their clients with very little care. I understand salaries and bills need to be paid, but I also heard at least 6 other clients complain about unreasonable pricing for work done on their cars here. Steph and Mike are the only good things about this dealership --- DO NOT GET YOUR CAR SERVICED HERE! DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT. GO ANYWHEREEEEE ELSE!

    Customer service was excellent. My name was known without me having to say it. That was really impressive for me. Having Wi-Fi in the waiting room was also a plus. The wait for the oil change was about the same as what was told to me in the beginning. Look forward to going back.

    Vinnie was outstanding. He kept me informed throughout my wait. He was aware of time constraints I had while waiting and was an absolute pleasure to deal with. Your entire staff was friendly and professional. Yonkers Kia should emulate the performance of West Nyack Kia.

    Best service given. The gentlemen , sorry can't remember his name, was excellent. Always checked in and informed me with whatever I needed to know and recommendations he suggested to keep my car at its top performance level.

  • Great Service on Challenging Problem

    When my 2011 Sorento stopped running wit 64k miles on it, I was very concerned about the major work it needed. I had a nice conversation with Vinnie (the service mgr) and provided him with my service records. It turned out that a very unusual transmission problem had put strain on the engine and that both (transmission and engine) needed to be replaced. Vinnie provided me with a loaner car and within two weeks, my car was returned with a new engine and transmission. My cost: $0. I am thrilled with the professionalism and service of their team and would recommend them to anyone!
