    Freeman Marshall from Dutchess Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram was absolutely fantastic in helping me find and purchase a new 2016 Jeep Compass. Words cannot explain how helpful and friendly he was from the start of the process, to picking out all of the options that I wanted, securing financing, and finally when he was waving goodbye to me a day later when I took delivery of the car. What is often times thought of as a daunting process, buying the car for me was an absolute piece of cake. I have dealt with other car salesmen before and left with, at best, a sour taste in my mouth and at worst swearing off the dealership for good. He worked with me on the price and both sides came to a happy medium and I will certainly be back for my next car! I would recommend anyone seeking a fantastic dealership experience to go to Dutchess Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram and specifically talk with Freeman Marshall. You will be happy you did.

    This dealer is by far the worst we visited while shopping for a vehicle. Service was sloooooow. The issue here was that apparently all decisions are made by the owner's relative. If they can't trust their people to make any decisions, then hire other staff that has the knowledge and experience. They asked for $200 to process the registration,tags, etc.up front. BIG mistake. They said they would call us with information about financing. they never did. When we inquired, the only person who can make decisions was "on vacation". I am now placing a consumer fraud complaint because they will not return my $200 until the sales manager returns, they say he will be back in two weeks. This is reprehensible behavior. Either thay are that incompetent at basic business practices or they are dishonest and untrustworthy of anyone's business.

    I dealt with Mark Watt who assured me he was trying to change the poor reputation the sales business has. He promised he is about building a strong customer base who will refer others to him in the future. The car I purchased was filthy when I went to pick it up, Mark promised a full detailing. He promised a two week check in call and a one month check in call after my purchase. I have not heard from Mark since I purchased the car & have not received the promised detailing. Prior to my purchase I was greeted by everyone in the showroom with kind smiles and helpful attitudes. I've been back to the dealership numerous times now, each time I was totally ignored as they remember I have already purchased a car. My temporary registration expired on the car because Dutchess Cars never sent the permanent registration to me (after 2 months!) I emailed Mark numerous times about the registration as it got closer and closer to it's expiration date... Mark LIES & promises he had ALREADY SENT IT out to me and it should arrive in a couple days!! I call them two days before it expires and they tell me they have the registration and I can come pick it up. Okay, so I go the next day to pick it up... Turns out the office woman has already left and the MANAGER REFUSES TO GO IN THE BACK TO GET MY REGISTRATION! So my temporary registration expires and I can not drive my car. I manage to get a ride to the dealer the following day during the office woman's hours and she informs me "oh, I just sent it out in the mail today," less than 48 hours after I instructed her to hold it until I picked it up. Then, she lies and tells me I called her a full week ago and she couldn't hold it that long. Now I'm unable to drive my car due to an expired registration and stuck waiting for the permanent registration in the mail... on a holiday weekend. I have had the absolute worst experience of my life at Dutchess Cars. I've dealt with Friendly Honda, Brewster Honda, DCH Acura, Hudson Valley VW, Healy Brothers Hyundai and all are much more committed to customer satisfaction than Dutchess Cars. If you can negotiate a good price on the car through this dealership, purchase here AND NEVER COME BACK. Stay far, far away from this dealership after the date of purchase. It is the last time you will ever be treated as a customer here.

    I too also worked with Mark Watt and had a totally different experience. He was fantastic! He always answered all of my questions, and responded to my constant emails and calls. In the end he was able to get me the vehicle I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. After dealing with three other Dodge Dealerships in the area, Mark was the only one that seemed to be treating me honestly. He gave me real numbers to work with not, the "well how much do you think we should make" comments that I received from other dealerships. Mark was able to secure my purchase by being honest with me from the beginning. I truly value that is a salesman. When we took delivery of the vehicle he spent time with us showing us how everything worked, and gave us a nice overview of the vehicle. The time my husband and I spent in the dealership was minimal. Mark had all of our paperwork ready and complete, we were able to sign everything and go. I received all of my registration paperwork on time and I did receive a followup phone call from him to see how we like the vehicle. My only issue was that the interior did not appear to be detailed before we picked it up. Buying a new car, I would have really like to have the car detailed. Other than that, Dutchess Dodge was fantastic. I have recommended them to anyone shopping for a vehicle and will continue to do so.
