Salesperson great, finance department argh!!!
by Soccersteve on 09/12/2015After dealing with jason behlam our salesman i was ready to give this dealership a five star rating. He was the most foward, honest and just all around the best salesman i have ever had the pleasure of buying a car from. if i could… individually rate him i would give him a 6 out of 5 stars. Unfortunately after dealing with the finance dept i would never recommend anyone even go to that dealership, even if they were selling brand new cars for a dollar. Not only did they lie to us about the pricing, when we tried to fix the issue in a calm and adult manner we got the run around. So not only have i had to call and visit the dealership many many times i have had to call a warranty company, the BBB and Nissan corporate. It has been two and a half months since we bought the car and the issue has still not been resolved. If it not fixed soon i will also be calling the local news station to bring attention to the shady practices of this dealership.Zero customer service zero ethics
by steveno1 on 03/15/2015I bought a used 2010 pathfinder in 2013 being my credit is not the best I figured on a high interest rate. What I did not count on was them adding 9000 on charges to the price of the car between the fees and a warranty which I never asked… for and didn't really want. The Salesmen seem to be the pawns in their game and then the finance guy gets you in his room stuns and robs you. I could not get the salesman to commit to even q ballpark figure on what the term rate or payments would be and I would know that information until it was time to sign! What? Everything is a big joke to the salesmen and totally unprofessional I even heard the gray haired guy who thinks he is a gangster threaten to punch someone in the expletive face! When I went back to complain to the finance guy Stan he showed me all the fees and pretty much said there was nothing that could be done. He offered me free maintnence (oil changes) for two years but of course the card they were supposed to mail me never arrived. They are not good people. Go to Sayville ford.We are sorry for the bad experience the last time you were here! However, we have made some changes since 2013 to help improve our customer service. My salesperson, Qwen, was extremely helpful, kind and understanding in helping me to choose… a vehicle to my liking. Everyone, from the managers at the door (especially Ray) to the finance & service departments, are warm and inviting. I would not hesitate in recommending Nissan 112 to family & friends. Shame on the Allstate located in the dealership
by billtammy2001 on 08/08/2014My son was interested in a new car, but needed to get a quote on insurance before signing for the car. The Allstate agent located in and owned by Nissan 112 got him a great deal so he purchased the car. A week later we find out the policy… was written wrong and the rate is much higher. The women who oversees the agents decided the policy was not ok and too bad for my son who now can't afford the car. To top it off she was insulting. It's a real bad practice to have insurance agents in an auto dealership working with salesmen to make the sale. SHAME ON NISSAN 112!!!Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. Worst experience by far

Salesperson lied about the final lease payment amount and told me not to bat an eye about excess mileage and damage. A month later I receive a lease statement of $40 more per month than… agreed upon then received over $700+ bill for excess mileage/wear and tear. They lied and told me they sent $3K for settlement with Nissan for my returned lease. What do you know, 3 months later Nissan contacts me to collect $700+. Avoid Nissan 112!Joe, thank you for alerting us of this issue. Our top priority is delivering 100% customer satisfaction and I'd like to extend my sincerest apologies that you left our dealership with disapproval overshadowing your experience. I found a car on the internet that I liked and wanted, but was skeptical after reading… the reviews. I call up and go in anyway - because this was the car that I wanted. So I connect with Rob C. on the phone and while he wasn't the warmest on the phone - we really hit it off in person (worked across the street from each other for several years - worked with his brother-in-law, etc.) So I look at the car, take it for a ride and decide that I want to buy it...I'm not big for negotiating, but asked if they could do better, he came down and we agreed. I won't even get into the stupid fees that they were trying to get me to agree to...I'll just fast forward to when I was going to pick up the car...seemed like all was good, brought me in with the finance guy and started to sign papers - without sounding too foolish, I had a conversation going with both of them and then Rob left...why wouldn't I trust this guy? What a moron I was...I quickly glanced at the papers and my mind saw a 4 in the price (the one we agreed to) and thought all was good, my quick glance didn't see that it was really a nine. Again to cut through the drama - ending up signing to pay for 500 more than I wanted to. Please understand I blame no one but myself for crossing all T's and dotting all the I's. I tried calling - nothing...I only got 2 call backs (no messages) after I shared that I was going to move this up their corporate ladder and try to spread as much negativity that I can. My feeling is that if I can get ten people that have read this review and go buy their car from somewhere else or at least not from Rob C., I kind of level the playing field with them. BTW - the finance guy is [non-permissible content removed] named STAN. If you decide to go to Nissan 112, please be very careful.We would like to take this time to apologize for your unhappy experience with our sales department. by ray_r2 on 05/14/2014updated 07/12/2025They use deceptive tactics to lure you into their dealership. I drove over 50 miles after communicating with their Internet Manager, Raquel R. I was very specific as to which vehicle I wanted (2014 Nissan Rogue Select AWD w/convenience pkg,… white or red) and explained to Raquel that this was a cash deal, NO LEASE, NO FINANCE. After Raquel quoted me a price, I asked her are there any hidden fees? Raquel said to me, that there are no hidden fees just add tax and DMV fees to the quoted price. She also said to me that Nissan 112 does not ever use hidden fees what so ever, the price quoted is the price. Before going to the dealership, Raquel assured me that the vehicle I am looking for is in their lot and that she'll have it ready for me. I trusted her candid tone over the phone and made the over 1 hour drive, paid tolls to their dealership. Once I entered, Raquel handed me over to a sales associate, John. John took me to their other lot down the block from them. John couldn't produce the vehicle that Raquel assured me she had on stock. I explained to John that I drove over one hour and if you didn't have the vehicle, you or Raquel had plenty of time to call me in advance and tell me and I would had gladly came back another day. John tells me the vehicle is on the pier. At this point I'm beginning to have my doubts. Then we go back to the dealership so that John can locate the vehicle. John never told me he actually located the vehicle but jumped right into the price. John tells me the price is $250.00 more over quoted price unless I'm willing to finance the vehicle. At this point, I realized that I had been lured to Nissan 112 under deceptive tactics. I went to the dealership with the intent to purchase the vehicle. The price quoted to me was in line with other dealerships had quoted me, so I felt confident that it was a quote that was realistic. I only went to Nissan 112 because I did my homework and wanted to find a dealership that actually had the vehicle that I was going to buy. As a consumer and as a hard working man who saves his money......my only interest is in actually seeing the new vehicle that I want to pay cash for. That is my right as a consumer!!! In summary, DO NOT TRUST RAQUEL R. DO NOT TRUST JOHN. AND BY FAR.....DO NOT TRUST NISSAN 112!!! THEY WILL LIE TO YOU TO GET YOU IN THEIR DEALERSHIP. THEY WILL TELL YOU THINGS THAT ARE NOT TRUE.We are truly sorry for coming to our store and left with an unpleasant experience. In this case we understand that the situation was magnified due to the long distance traveled. I can personally assure you that we absolutely never instruct our staff to lure any of our customers, nor do we condone the practice at all. We strive to provide our customers with an experience so legitimately positive that they return for all of their servicing and purchasing needs. by emr3 on 07/12/2013updated 07/12/2025Awful experience at this dealership. From each aspect of Sales, Manager and Finance department. It is the quintessential nightmare car dealership. I bought my car last month and as soon as I walked off the lot they treated me like I didn't… exist. I still, WEEKS later have not received a spare key. I was also charged hundreds of dollars later that has still not been explained. SIX visits for this information, the finance office has been rude and not helpful. The manager is patronizing and the sales people ridiculed me when asking questions. This place was so disappointing and disheartening. As a loyal Nissan customer for the place ten years I would please consider not buying from this dealership or a company that would keep this dealership in business at all. I regret my purchase wholeheartedly and am extremely displeased with the treatment I encountered.Dishonest to a fault

We went in on a whim because we have been trying to buy a Pathfinder. After speaking with… the sales girl, she brought in the manager/owner. We told him our VERY bottomline price. He said he would work on it, but to secure the care we needed to leave a deposit. We did. That was Sunday. He said he would let us know the deal by Tuesday. Tuesday, we heard nothing. Wednesday the salesgirl called and said the car would be in the next day, gave us the VIN and said we could call insurance as soon as she knew the car was in. Still...no price. So, Thursday came and I asked the price again and was told I had to deal with finance. Luckily, we were smart enough NOT to call insurance. On Friday, my husband called and spoke to the manager and OF COURSE he wanted more than we told him we could pay. So, back I went to get my deposit back, only to have the manager in my face saying things like "it's only $20 more a month" and "I am already giving to you undercost". Regardless, we told him what we could afford, and he played us. Had we called insurance, they would have droped the insureance on our current car. In the end, all parties lost, we lost the car and he lost the sale. Its ok, someone who runs a better business will get our money. I have never in my life been treated so poorly and with such dishonesty by a business owner. I am not one to write reviews, but this was worthy of it. I would not reccomend this dealership to anyone and have filed a complaint with the better business bureau.Continued excellent experience

Chris was knowledgeable, honest and considerate of my time. The entire process (from walking in… to receiving my car took less than 2 hours. The agreed upon lease price was the final price with no hidden surprises. The car was delivered exactly as promised. I certainly will return to lease or purchase another vehicle from this dealership.Thank you for writing about your visit with us and congratulations on your new Altima! worst experience ever
by krivalsi on 08/13/2013updated 07/12/2025Dealing with Nissan 112, Medford, NY was by far the worst experience I have ever had with any car dealership. It was, perhaps one of the worst dealing with any company in my life. I believe they deliberately mislead, misinformed and under… informed my daughter and I when she was purchasing a new car. When my daughter went there on her own to discuss the issue, they were condescending and insulting. Avoid this dealership. We have made over 8 trips back to the dealership. They promise to call but never call. They could not care less about a customer once they have your money.
