I recently purchased a car from European Masters and although I do not have the best credit, they made the purchasing experience very easy. Alex was very helpful and did all that he could to help and assure I got my car! I am forever grateful!

5 out of 5 starsby Gronassman on 08/15/2017

I had a smooth and easy experience here. They paid my uber, went above and beyond to make me happy with my purchase, explained everything I asked them, and with smiles. Darryl is the man. Everyone seems like they really enjoy what they do. That's why they are the Masters.

  • It's not about the car it's about the salesman

5 out of 5 starsby ernieroos on 03/20/2017

My experience with Darryl is what determined my car purchase. I was settled on another vehicle and dealership, but his honesty and patience along with integrity is the entire reason for my ending up with a Benz. And everyday I am benefiting from his commitment to me as a customer.

  • Didn't go for the deal because.....

    1 out of 5 starsby Yadav_Bhaji on 01/18/2017

***** This review might not show up as I see google took it off from reviews, and the guy named Darryl called me right after I left this review and questioned me why would I leave such review***** I will be honest and fare, went to see this dealer (European Masters or MastersNY.com) after scheduling an appointment to see the car of my choice but they had no info which car I had requested via their website even though I was told on the phone same day by “Marian” (with nice voice to attract customers to showroom) that it’s available, my fault was I had not noted down the stock number from the website. Sales person was “Darryl”, nothing against him honestly but he talks to much. Luckily I had stock numbers with me of other similar cars which I requested to see them at the dealership but I was told they were sold as well, FYI any car stock number on their website which has “S” at the end means sold, fare enough may be dealer is too busy to take down all those sold listing or they might want to show higher number of cars in stock, I am giving them benefit of doubt that they are very busy, although those online prices being competitive with higher number of cars in stock will bring customers to the dealership surely. Now the real tricky part, the prices on website are only to lure you to the dealership, those numbers means nothing or other way around add minimum $100 on top of that number to your monthly payments, that will be the real number of your payments for the car which you might be interested in, again nothing wrong with that but it’s just misleading, some people will be coming from far just to find out those online payments are not real or they are balloon payments (as I was told). Balloon financing basically means lump sum balloon payment at end of finance term results in lower monthly payments than standard financing. Final balloon payment must be paid in full by cash payment or financing arrangement. Locked into making payments for the duration of the lease - no option of paying it off early. This dealership has another trick in their hands which personally I liked because it gives some kind of satisfaction after getting a discount automatically and it saves you from a pain of car price bargaining but unfortunately it blocks you out from getting any more discounts, they start pricing cars with higher number (as they did with me) then would drop it down little bit on their own making an excuse like, I liked you or we are from same ethnicity or I am Republican or Democrats depending on what you believe in or any reason to show that you are getting a deal but who knows what’s the real deal is, some car might have accidents reported on them, you don’t get a clear picture but again to the their honesty I should say some cars does have carfax history report on their website but I didn’t telly car’s vin number mentioned in the report to the existing one at the dealership, I believe it is none of my business unless I am really going to buy one. (kelley blue book is the best source to find out the real value used or new, from the dealer or owners directly). At the end if any business starts with unclear info that simply tells me it’s not practicing a fare trade, some fall for it and some don’t, some people might have got a deal those who left 5 star ratings or could be paid review as some reviewers mentioned that but the best way to find out is to try yourself by visiting this dealer and compare with others. Be visionary, don’t fall for tricks & baits, be safe!

Great car and an even better salesperson. Really happy with the purchase of my new car. Big shout out to Mo and his team. They got me done in a few hours and within the same day. Quick and easy process and glad they helped me out in getting my insurance. Car was exactly what I was searching for the last few weeks and it was under my nose the whole time. Very excited and will definitely be recommending this place. If you go to Masters, ask for Mohammad. He wants to make your comfortable throughout it all and will give you solid customer service and undivided and undivided attention.
  • WORST DEALER EVER

    1 out of 5 starsby Lomax510 on 12/08/2016

If I could give this dealer 0 stars I would. This has been one of the most miserable experiences in my life- I purchased the most expensive vehicle in the dealership BMW M6. The vehicle was supposed to be under warranty with only 12,000 miles. After I purchased it and took it in for service BMW told me the car was in an accident and the warranty was voided. European Masters failed to tell me about any accidents and the car had a clean car fax. European Masters promised to fix all issues with the car so I brought it back to them for repairs. A month later and I still haven't received my car back, they haven't done any repairs, and they won't return my calls. Now I'm stuck with expensive car payments, and I have to ride the bus. To summarize: 1. Purchased most expensive vehicle in the dealer. BMW M6 under warranty. 2. Vehicle ended up being a lemon - not covered under warranty. 3. European Masters said they would help fix the car, instead they took it held it for a month, preformed no repairs, and now I'm stuck with expensive payments and no car. 4. They have my car and won't return my calls. Worst buying experience of my life. They will be hearing from my lawyers
    • WOW! After reading the first two reviews of these AHs, I am glad I took the time! Thank you for saving from a fate such as yours. I hope things work out.

    • Hey! If Carfax said it wasn't in an accident they have to buy it - according to their [non-permissible content removed] ad, anyway. I'd push it into the dealer hard. Isn't there a lemon law in NY? Christ, we even have one of those in Maine and we're still in the dark ages up here.

  • Great Dealership

5 out of 5 starsby LoveMaster on 11/14/2016

My experience with the entire staff was marvelous from start to finish. Alex, my sales rep, was very patient in helping me find the car I wanted. They didn't have the Mercedes CLA in house, and, somehow, they magically found it at another dealership and drove me there so I could test drive it. The car was a Mercedes lease, so I knew that it had been well cared for. Alex explained to me that a car can have a clean Carfax, in the event that a repair was made out-of-pocket and not reported to the owner's insurance. But, he explained, because Masters has such a close relationship with the local Mercedes dealer (and the other dealers too), they are given the inside scoop on every car they buy--most of which are off lease from the local dealers. In addition, Masters also inspects the cars they sell. The bottom line: Alex made me feel so confident that the car was in good shape, I didn't even pay to have an independent inspection. In addition, Alex did all the legwork to get the insurance squared away and he applied for my new title. I literally didn't have to lift a finger! Now, Norman, the manager, is fantastic. He went above and beyond to be responsive to me. He satisfied all my quirky, perfectionistic requests for cosmetic repairs to the wheels, and finish touch ups. He even replaced an interior panel and the rear bumper, just to make me happy. And, Joseph immediately searched and found me the perfect financing. I could have driven off the lot with the car, had I not asked for the cosmetic tweaks. Since the car wasn't ready for me to drive off the lot, due to all my cosmetic repairs, they actually drove it to me (and I live 2 hours away!) a week later. I totally recommend Masters. Everyone made me feel like family. I'm actually going to miss all the guys. But, I know I'll see them again soon. Since I will definitely only buy my cars from them in the future.
  • Great Experience

5 out of 5 starsby AngelMC on 02/15/2016

I had been talking to Tammy and Jose about a specific vehicle for a few days and decided to fly in from out of state to take a look. Everyone at the dealership was extremely friendly and helpful. Tammy stored my luggage and made sure I was comfortable. Jose let me take my time looking around the vehicle, test driving, and explaining everything to me. There were no surprises when it came to the cost and out of state taxes. Afterward, they made sure I would be ok for my long drive home. Overall, I had an amazing car buying experience and I would definitely recommend them.
    • Angel I'm glad that Tammy and Jose could help you to get the vehicle you were looking for., I will also like to thank you for the words of appreciation for our team. We at European Masters thank you for your business and as always, let us know if you need anything! - Norman, General Manager

  • [non-permissible content removed] and full of SCAMS

    1 out of 5 starsby ddk3 on 07/29/2015

I agree with the other buyer that this dealer is fraudulent and full of scams. First of all, their internet price is fraudulent. All the prices they list on internet is after $2000 to $5000 down payments. If you find a car online that you think is a good or fair deal, when you get to their shop, these guys will tell you that the actually price is internet price PLUS the down payment. So suddenly you are facing a $2K to $5K price hike. Secondly, they told me the car has only one owner and clear history. But when I get the Carfax, it says TWO owners with Accident.
  • Worst Experience Ever, Lies, Excuses, Dubious Practices

    1 out of 5 starsby carbuyer2032 on 05/01/2015

Worst Car Dealer I've ever dealth with. Everyone tells you want you want to hear, ranging from the phone service, sales person, finance manager, to the general manager. Dubious business practices. Poor Customer Service. Try to squeeze you for every dollar they can. And when they figure out a way to make more money, they'll kick you to the curb. My Story: I contracted European Masters to purchase a vehicle. I called prior to driving there (2hrs away) to confirm they were open. Was told they were open until 8pm. Got there at 6pm and they were closing (I chalked this up to miscommunication, but it was just the beginging). On that date, I placed a deposit of $500.00 via credit card and received a written piece of paper from the senior sales associate outlining the price. I had informed them I would pick up the car on the following Tuesday. I then called on Sunday 4/12/14 to confirm that the car would be ready and was assured it would be. On Tuesday, I come to pick up the car and it is nowhere to be found. I am told that the car has lights that had turned on that would prohibit it from passing inspection (excuses excuses.... who puts a car for sale on the lot that can't be sold). At that point, I suspect that the car may have ben sold in the interim following my deposit/contract as one of the salespersons had let it slip. After discussing with the general manager, I was told that the car is being sent to the mechanic and they are unsure when it will be fixed if at all (affirming my suspicion of fraudulent sale). Fast forward nearly a week(4/23/15) I am informed that they cannot fix the car and are "selling it back at auction." In this time European Masters is unable to produce the car and/or service records to affirm that they cannot sell the car. They also are noncompliant with my attorney who is speaking with them on my behalf. I was told they'd sell me the car "as is" (which i doubt they could produce it). But That was beisdes the point.... I bought a working car, not a fixer upper). My deposit was refunded. But wasted a ton of Time and Money for nothing. Stay away, as they provide no less than unsavory business practices, near fruadulant activity, and/or bait-and-switch techniques for personal gain.
  • The price rose up to $1000 more!

I had a negative experience with Masters Auto Mall dealership. Once I saw a desired car online GL-450 (2010) I have contacted them via email. The listed price was $36.895.99, I specifically asked if there are any additional fees such as title fee, dealers fee or any other b/s fees and to give me the total cash price excluding tax and registration. I’ve got a response that the listed price is correct and will be honored. This sounded unbelievable every dealership has their fees from $250-$1250, I asked again if I will bring the check for the listed price ($36,895) will I leave with the car or there are additional dealer's & titles fees? They confirmed just bring a certified check for the listed price and you will get the car, plus I will have to pay taxes and registration (duh) Fine the same day I came to the dealership, the person I have talked wasn’t there, even though was arrived to scheduled time, but whatever. The other guy shows us the car, looks ok, a few minor details I didn’t like, but not important, no used car is perfect. Then we went to the manager to discuss details and here we have the catch. The price rose up to $1000 more ($299.99 – Title, Reg, Tag, Lisc, Inspct.; $599.99 – Delivery Prep Inspection; $99.99 – Doc Fee). He said that the 600 delivery prep inspection can be waived if I finance. I tried to argue that I was told there are no any additional fees, but he didn’t care and was very arrogant. I just killed my time to travel them, so be prepared, no integrity whatsoever.
