    Can't say enough great things about Josh W of MINI of Freeport! Josh's extensive knowledge, attentive communication/ follow through and general thoughtfulness were so appreciated. While my fair cash offer within a few hundred of asking was not accepted by sales management and sold to another party without a chance to counter them, I'd still highly recommend Josh. Working with him was a pleasure!

  • Very bad experience

    Contacted the dealership multiple times so get the price of a vehicle, they all confirmed the price at 45.7k, I told them I want to move forward and purchase the vehicle. One of the sales reps started texting me and I told them the terms that I want, came back with a ridiculous monthly payment, I told him he’s mistaken and he said I will get you the correct numbers and that there was a confusion. He then texts me back 10 mins later and says the price on the vehicle is wrong (which is advertised on multiple websites) that it’s not 45.7k, it’s now 52k. Never in my life have I experienced this, after multiple people telling me the price is what’s listed online and that’s the bottom line price then to switch it up on me. Just an overall horrible experience and I wouldn’t recommend anyone dealing with them.

  • The Biggest Disappointment

    I had used Freeport BMW for my 3 previous leases. For the 3rd lease, we had a terrible experience with both the sales manager and the General Manager. They were not forthcoming in their practices, did nothing to make the experience of leasing a car enjoyable and in the end, cost me far more money once I actually left the dealership, then when I was on site. For my 4th lease which is up in one month, BMW of Freeport reached out to start looking at new cars and I advised them that based on past experience, we wouldn't be returning. The GM passed us on to the Director of Business Development, who at first, seemed authentic and concerned about our experience. After speaking to him for some time, we made an appointment to meet. As I reached out to reschedule the appointment to the next day, he never responded. I reached out again, he still didn't respond. For the 3rd email, he STILL didn't respond. Speaking with them to reconsider for almost an hour was a complete waste of time and I regret attempting to give them another chance. Leasing a BMW should be that of a luxury experience and it was far from that. It was unprofessional, non-committal and showed no talent on behalf of the senior leadership at this dealership. They lost a very loyal customer and I would never work with them again.

    Update: I was contacted by the General Manager and then subsequently the General Sales Manager regarding my experience. As the situation could not be changed they did offer their apology and assured me that this is not how they wish to conduct business at their dealership. They have kindly provided me with a gesture of goodwill in hopes to rectify the situation. Although, my initial experience cannot be changed, I do appreciate that they were willing to address the situation and take responsibility for what happened.

  • Deceptive, Unethical and Unfair Practices

    I had a very bad experience at BMW of Freeport. Do Not let their overly welcoming behavior deceive you. I arrived at 11:am the day of purchase and left after 5pm that afternoon. They baited me and sold me a 2016 528I almost $10,000 over the advertised sticker price. After traveling back and forth 8 times to confront them and to find a resolve for the issue I was approached with more deceptive BS. When I threatened to expose them the General Manager Gregg Vitello and General Sales Manager Matt Dency tried to blind side me even further by offering to customize the lease vehicle with accessories and a free car wash and detail. Even offered to paint the rims Ridiculous!!!!. I declined their offer and I am currently seeking out legal action against BMW of Freeport. This is my fourth leased vehicle and First at BMW I have never experienced anything like this before. An absolute nightmare! Please do your research because I did not, take someone knowledgeable with you, do not trust BMW of Freeport staff!!!!

    After what happened to be an unfortunate miscommunication, dealer went above and beyond to rectify the situation. The sales team and management couldn't have been more helpful, kind and accommodating in making leasing a new vehicle an incredible experience. Good customer service is hard to find and I would absolutely recommend this dealer to others.
