    My wife and I were shopping for a specific car with specific wants and needs in terms of color and interior appointments. Melissa Scelsi stepped up and found the car we were looking for. Melissa stands on what I believe is character and… honesty. Melissa made herself available via telephone whenever we needed her and always picked up the phone. I would without any doubt recommend Bay Shore BMW to friends and family and more importantly, would recommend they deal specifically with Melissa Scelsi. She is an asset to your organization.

    I had Vidal as my sales Rep, he was very courteous and not pushy. Vidal did not make a promise of getting me approved. All he kept saying was, 'let me work on it'. Vidal did not promise Vidal deliver.

He was fantastic throughout the entire process and even rush delivered my car at no extra cost 4 weeks ahead of time. He was… very friendly, professional, and knowledgeable and always got back to me when I would email or leave him a message on status and updates.     Just purchased an X5 at Habberstad BMW! Carlos Villegas was a pleasure to work with. He made the return of my previous lease easy and even made sure that the return went smoothly. He followed up with an email to document that all went… well. Regarding my new car, he found programs which ended up saving me money and got me the car I ordered ahead of schedule. He spent time going over the details of the car. A very positive experience!!

  • Rippoff!!!

    Please DO NOT go here for your service. Took my car for a battery change and was charged close to $700. $700 for a battery replace, really? That is absurd!!! I called other BMW service and was quoted only $500. This place ripped me off an… extra $200 of my hard earned money. Never again, please beware if u bring your car here!!!

    Carlos V was the most helpful salesman I've ever dealt with. He did not stop searching for the exact car I wanted until he found it and boy did it impress! Carlos was always available whenever I had a question or concern. The dealership… overall has the most friendly, helpful staff and I can say that when my lease on my car is up I will MOST DEFINITELY return to this dealership and work with Carlos again.

    I bought my car at competition in smithtown. Service was average, no complaint's, just typical dealer service as expected on Long Island. After waiting an eternity for the Bayshore dealer to finally open, I stopped by @ 6:30pm one night… because my tire light came on and I was on my way into New Jersey to see if someone could show me how to reset the stupid thing. Surprise-Surprise !! Someone on Long island finally get's it, the Service department was open!! , the shop was closed, but the "Service Manager" dressed in a suit and tie, took me upstairs to their shop (which was so clean you could perform open heart surgery) inspected the tires with me and found a nail, he rolled up his sleeve's, plugged my tire, gave me the nail, check all my fluids and refused to take a dime because it only took 10 mins of his time. He thanked me for visiting their new facility, gave me his business card and invited me to their free service clinic in next month.. The place is as pretty inside as it is outside, and they seem to know how to treat people, my first experience was excellent, they'll being seeing us again.

    After visting many other dealerships I stopped in Habberstad of BayShore and met my sales advisor Rob P who was great from the start. His no pressure easy going sales tactics worked great and I came back to purchase the vehicle in which he… showed me and took for a drive. The purchase was seamless in which it was the first time I signed a contract and picked up the vehicle within 24 hours with no additional haggling or issues. Great work Rob P and the rest of the staff there. I will be back and definitely recommend my fellow friends and business partners.

    Purchasing a vehicle can be a headache with much confusion, but when you have a professional sales person such as Paul that is willing to take the time and patience to explain every aspect of the transaction and is looking out for your best… interest it make's things much easier as well as a memorable experience.

    Well I guess the Service Rep said it all "BMW's aren't for everyone", so if you want good service and to be treated with respect BMW is not for you.

    People there are extremely friendly and know what needs to be done to keep a persons car running well. Always a smile from the greeter to the advisor. Easy to get a vehicle in without an appointment and the work gets done to complete… satisfaction. Wouldn't suggest any other place to buy,lease or have service done on a BMW vehicle.

    Very good experience after my car got totaled in Hurricane Sandy. Went through sales associate Robert P. Everything has gone very smoothly. He has kept me up to date during the whole order process and gotten me a great price on my lease.… Will definitely be a returning customer.

    From reading Edmunds I've obtained a lot of information and costs of new cars. I also read lots of magazines as well but you can't beat Edmunds for making the final decision and for checking inventory. So,I knew that the 2014 X5 was going… to be a completely redesigned model and that many of the new features appealed to me. I purchased other BMW's from Habberstad in Huntington and living in Bay Shore, I stopped in to find more about the new X5. I met my salesperson Melissa S. and she explained that there was not very much pricing information available. Melissa promised to call me when information was available. After the call came, I visited Habberstad and with pricing available, agreed on a price and I placed the order with delivery "sometime in the future". I called Melissa probably more that I should have to see if there was any information on delivery. Melissa is a former Kindergarten teacher and since that is about my EQ level, she knew how to calm me down and to be more patient. She kept me posted and called me when the car left South Carolina. She did get even with me when the X5 arrived. She called and said "very bad news Allan". I figured the car fell off the truck. Then she laughed. Could've sent me to the hospital. I remember that kind of humor in the 60's when I was in the Army. I still appreciate that humor even if it is at my expense. Anyway, buy a car from Melissa. I promise she will answer all your questions, offer counseling, and never bore you.
