Best new car purchase experience
by Danh0713 on 06/06/2018I had an absolutely excellent experience with all the staff at Prestige. My salesman was Dan Carey, and he was fantastic. Based on past experience elsewhere, I planned for several hours of negotiating. To my surprise, they offered me a… price below what I was expecting to pay, no haggling needed! They also gave me the price I expected for my trade in. The finance manager was able to secure me a loan which was, again, better than I expected based on my credit score. This was the easiest, most pain-free experience. It was apparent that every staff member I dealt with only cared about one thing: a happy customer. A+ all the way.Shady dealings

Made a deal on a used Outback including 5 year wrap around warranty included in the price , made a deal on the trade in , then when it was… time to sign the deal they tried sneaking in an extra $900+ for the warranty hoping we wouldn't see it . I'd expect this type of bait and switch shadiness from a here today gone tomorrow dealer , but not one from a supposedly reputable auto dealer .Review

I will state that the delivery took an extraordinary length of time and the vehicle was missing all of the dealer installed options that had been… purchased. However they made things right. The paperwork was even incorrect and had to be redone. But they try to make things right. My only complaint is that no one at the dealership knows the technology well enough to explain it.Our experience

by akekee on 08/21/2010I found this dealership, which is pretty far from my house, because I was hoping to do comparison test drives of the Subaru Impreza, the Impreza Outback Sport, and the VW Sportswagen all in manual transmission. This was my first new car… shopping experience, and I think it was about as good as it gets. I was immediately greeted by the sales associate, Mary Bevan, who was extremely friendly and patient. She worked with me to test drive all three models. She was very knowledgeable about the Subarus but less so about the VWs. Ideally, I would have liked one of the VW specialists to have worked with me as well, and this was one of the only negative aspects of the experience. After test driving, I knew I wanted the Impreza Outback Sport. My original plan was to go home and sleep on it, but Mary convinced me to buy the car by offering me a very good deal. This was the only time that I felt any pressure, but it was worth it. All of my research before and after the sale has convinced me that I received the lowest possible price. I compromised on the color, but I have no regrets and absolutely love the car. The dealership also worked hard to find a very low interest rate on the financing and was patient while I researched all possible financing options. Mary was also very quick to respond to my emails and phone calls. I drove the car home that day, and the dealership arranged to deliver my old vehicle to my apartment free of charge. Overall, everyone on staff was very friendly and helpful and really seemed to believe in the product.Great Experience
by todrit on 06/09/2014updated 06/10/2025Had only the second great expereince with a card dealer in my almost 50 years. our salesman Tom T was very helpful, quick, and listened to all our needs and wants. He along with Tony the sales manager made our experience quite pleasing and… quick. I would have liked to have a bit more choices when it came to their inventory, but it could have been due to 2015's coming out. showroom was very clean and they offered us both beverages during our wait. I never understood why it takes so long once you make a decision to sign papers, however Prestige had one of the shortest times that I have had to deal with.bad service- classic bait and switch
by sweet24752 on 01/26/2011updated 06/10/2025My husband and I went there to buy a Mitsubishi, we were very specific about the car, wanted a black outlander sport with a premium package added. We got preapproved for the special deal Mitsubishi is running, and left a deposit for the… car, which the sales manager said would have in in about 1 week. The next day we got a call from the salesman saying he wasn't able to find what we wanted, we had a few options- 1, take the same car but with 1200 extra options that we were going to have to pay for even though we didn't want, 2: take a grey color that they had on their lot w the options we wanted, 3: wait until march until mitsubishi built more cars. We said we wanted none and wanted our deposit back. The salesman said let me see if my boss will lower the price of the black extra options and we said fine, we'll hear what price you come up with and make the decision. They would not come down on the original price and insisted they could not find the car we wanted. We called another dealership and within an hour they had located the car we wanted. My husband then went back to Prestige and asked for our money back. The sales manager cursed at my husband, told us we wasted their time and the deposit was nonrefundable. My husband started to make a scene, told them they didn't hold up their end of the bargain and they finally gave us our money back. Would NEVER go to them again.Excellent Buying Experience

Prestige Subaru, in addition to being the highest-rated local dealer on that site, offered the best price for the car I wanted. When I… went to the dealer I was greeted by their sales representative Larry W. He made the buying process a genuine pleasure (I had previously regarded car buying as something slightly less desirable than root canal surgery). I was so pleased with the vehicle after the test drive and Mr. W.'s patient explanations of all of its functions that I wound up buying TWO 2014 Forester Limited, one for me and one for my wife. There was no pressure at all and there was extreme courtesy, professionalism, and friendliness on the part of Mr. W., Mr. Brett H., the sales manager, and everyone else with whom we came in contact. I can highly recommend Prestige Subaru.
