Tips for buyers to purchase car at DCH OldBridge
by Buyers_Friend on 11/20/2018Here are some tips for buyers when purchasing a vehicle from this dealership. 1. Remember that you will have hard time when purchasing a car without adding any optional accessories as they wouldn't sell you any car without it. This is… their way to make additional profit. This means, rain spray treatment for windows, plastic safeguard for doors, window etching and the wheel locks. All these should be optional, but they charge you >$1200 for this. Once you make a deal then they add these things in your paperwork and if you object, they will tell you that these things are already installed and can't be removed. 2. Nitrogen in tires â They tell you that in their entire lot, they don't have a single car that doesn't have nitrogen, so I have no choice but to purchase that. It is around $200 3. Rain spray treatment â In my case, I can guarantee you that it was not done but I was charged. The only proof I have that I see no difference at all during the rain so if you buy it, test it by pouring water on windshield to see the difference or ask for proof that it was done. 4. After you do the deal and ready to do the paperwork, the finance department and then manager and then salesman, all will ask you to give them 10/10 in the customer survey. If you show any dissatisfaction or mention anything negative, they will make sure that you never get the survey. Because getting anything less than 10 in the survey is 0 for the dealership. So keep the problem to yourself and mention in customer survey. 5. Go to Edmunds.com and get the truecar saving certification worth for $1000 and apply towards your purchase. You can also call Edmunds.com and they will send you this certificate. You can use this in addition to the best price you get. Hope this helps someone as I did purchase the car from them by purchasing all overpriced accessories because I didnât have time to go to other dealerships and spend time negotiating things all over again.Love my car

The vehicle was in great condition and exactly as advertised on their… website. I took it for a test drive, along with my parents, and found the ride to be very smooth and comfortable. It was a big step up from the car I've been driving for the past 8 years. The salesman was very helpful and did not put any pressure on us to purchase. Once I had decided to buy the car, I was put in touch with the finance and insurance salesman. He did not use any high pressure sales tactics on me to buy any additional warranties or services, he just explained what they offered and what their respective costs would be and left it to me to decide. Overall, I am very satisfied with the customer service and dealership experience at DCH Academy Honda and would shop here again for my next car.Great people

Only two tires were new. I called… dealer the next day and was told only some tires are replaced. When we walked in we were greeted by a salesman Mina Suryil who… was extremely nice and patient with us. We took a look at several choices before ultimately deciding on a civic. We got a certified civic at a great price and the deal was great in comparison to what we had seen at other dealerships. He didnt play any games and gave us exactly what he said he would. It would be a great idea to visit DCH if you are in the market for a car.
