    This dealer has a lot of cars and because of that you can get okay price like other big dealers. But you gonna have to deal with the people that work there, and unfortunately they love to play games with their clients between a sales guys like Chris Jobs that never answer phones or emails if he doesn't like you, to Anthony Marino that comes to help you with the deal and after you come back to finalize the deal they change it. and finally after you close the deal and you figure out that they rapped you off, you go to talk or try to get help from Doug Wells the Big Boss then he let you wait for him about 45 minutes and try as much as he can not to meet with you and he thinks that because he's the manger that he has the right to be rude and speak a bad way to the clients which is unacceptable and never help or solve any of your problems, and that was my bad experience with them, and if i have the option to give zero stars i will do it so just be careful dealing with those people

    I went into Ray Catena to explore the possibility of purchasing a Mercedes Benz. I was met by Christina Colucci who turned my search into a wonderful experience. Christina provided the exceptional insight into all models that MB offers, once we had chosen the vehicle she efficiently processed all the paperwork so I could drive home in my new dream car! Christina was extremely knowledgeable and walked me through the whole process seamlessly and made it enjoyable too. Mr. Catena, this young lady represents your dealership in the most exemplary way!     I purchased a Mercedes Benz from Vincent, he and the entire staff were a pleasure. The car buying experience is usually a little painful but NOT THIS TIME!!! It was fun this time. In a relaxed setting with an amazing facility. I came in asked for Vincent based on reviews I have read on other sites. He is professional and knowledgeable. He helped me find the right car for me. Ray Catena Mercedes Benz is the only place I will be buying a car from, and Vincent Santangelo is the only person I will deal with.

    Upon entering the Ray Catena Edison dealership the staff was very friendly and professional. Sales Consultant, Vincent Santangelo, went above and beyond to make my car buying experience positive and smooth from finding the right car up to the financing process. I highly recommend him to anyone who's looking for an honest and knowledgeable sales consultant.

    BUYERS BEWARE!!!!! Stay Awayyy!!! Do not waste your time or money here. Bought a vehicle that they supposedly did a lot of work to, which delayed the purchase by 2 weeks. Have had nothing but problems since picking up. Wish I could give these unprintable expletives a lower rating. Run, do not walk, away from them! Purchased a Vehicle that was "guaranteed" to pass inspection. Not only did it not pass, but the check engine light came on the day after we purchased it, and started flashing the next day. Took the car to our local mechanic who found multiple engine faults, including a bad cylinder, and when it was up on the lift they also found severe body rot. Our mechanic advised us it was not safe enough to even drive back to the sales lot. I can not say they treated us fairly in any way, shape, or form, including endangering the lives of my children by putting us in a vehicle they knew was unsound. JON WALL Is the Worst Person To Deal With!!!!

    Great experience dealing with Matt Kratzer. He was very friendly, honest and professional. He gave me the best price and did everything possible to get us the car we wanted. He even came in on his day off to show us the car. The customer service he provided was exceptional and I would definitely recommend buying/leasing from him.

    I leased a CLS from them. The car has been a disaster from Day One. I've had nine blow outs in two years, after going a quarter of a century driving without a single flat in other cars. When I complained,they said that I should consider myself lucky that I had bought the tire and wheel package. When I mentioned the inconvenience attached to having all of these flats, they said that is what happens with a sports car. I don't consider a four-dour all heel drive car a sports car. I think that they should have warned me ahead of time. Oh well. Live and learn, I guess. But after a decade with the Ray Catena family, they've lost this customer.

    Grigory Rozenfeld and Ray Catena Mercedes were truly exceptional! Grigory helped us with his patience, care, and concern to make the decision to buy a car we are now so very happy with. He took the time to answer all our questions, show us our options, and highlight opportunities. The financial side of the experience was pleasant and met our needs. We each shared some personal stories and the personalized buying experience was our best yet.     Vince Peluso is an excellent salesperson, he is very knowledgeable about every aspect of Mercedes, friendly to talk to, accommodating and patient. My experience at the dealership was outstanding in every way. The showroom is vast with seemingly every model on the floor, the lounge is comfortable and quiet and the service center is indescribably nice. I look forward to an ongoing business relationship with this dealership for many years.

    This is my first car from Anthony Marino and it wasn't like any other experience I have ever had before. He really went above and beyond to make this happen for me. Never did I think I would walk in and take a new Mercedes right there on the spot, however Anthony made this all possible. When I have purchased vehicles in the past it was such a painful process but after this experience I cannot wait for my lease to be up to see Anthony again. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a Mercedes.

    After visiting 3 dealerships with the information i had gathered from mb.com i started to become discouraged. While at the dealerships instead of listening to my wants i was instead trying to be sold cars that i did not nor did they have the specs i was looking for. When the first dealership i had visited was trying to sell me a car for $2500 over the final price(msrp,tax,tags) etc i was going to give up and head over to BMW. Luckily, i gave it another shot and tried a different approach edmunds.com.There i was able to view the cars specs, inventory, options and accurate pricing and then it began. I submitted a few inquiries Less than 24 hours later i received an email from Vince Peluso Jr. at Ray Catena and thats were the magic started to happen! At this point i was pretty well informed and knew what i wanted. I shared my expectations with Vincent and he explained everything to me to the detail by detail leaving nothing to the imagination. The only thing left to discuss was the price. The car was a little over my budget and before i could even mention it Vince blew me away with an offer i could not refuse!! A couple of emails later i was confident in him and ready to buy so much that i gave my deposit with no hesitation. The car was at the port and i was given a time-frame as to when it would come. During that time Vince worked with me to make sure i had all the necessary documentation and paperwork ready for when the car arrived. We continued to communicate via email at work and at home keeping me up to date until the day came when the car had arrived and it did exactly when he said it was. When i went to the dealership to pick up my baby he showed me her and she was shining and twinkling beautifully, he have all my paperwork ready and he had one of the service guys give a quick tutorial on the car. As if things couldn't get any better he also beat the financing that i came in with and saved me a few hundred dollars. Never in a million years did i think id be buying my dream car via email and the whole process took less time than one of the previous deal visits!! I wish i would of found Vince sooner it would of saved me alot of time and gas lol. No hassle, no pressure ,no stress, no lies, no games, no nonsense, no headache!! Vince Peluso Jr made my dream car buying experience one i will never forgot and for that i am forvever grateful. You have a client for life!!

    Over the years, I have purchased/leased 5 cars from Ray Catena dealerships, 1 Lexus, 2 Porsche and 2 Mercedes (the 2 MB with with the help of Bob Gold). In my opinion they are a first class operation from top to bottom, (I'm sure it comes from the top). While all high-end dealers should treat you well, considering the amount of money involved, these guys are a significant cut above. Firstly, they will work with you to ensure you get every discount/incentive for which you are eligible. Secondly, in my experience, and I consider myself a we'll informed car shopper, the final price and terms will be as good as you will find, and lastly when you go to sign the papers there are NO surprises. No shuffled off to the F & I department who will try to sell you all the high margin add-ons. Lastly, their service dept which I use for the MB & the Porsche. is also top notch.

    I bought my first benz from RC 10 years ago. I lease both my Benz's. In the last 10 years I have leased 3 cars from them. The other 3 cars, I did not go to them as they call you to discuss prices but then give you the classic run around. Even as I am writing this review, Chris Russo from the Edison office tells me to shop around and come in with the price and they will beat it. I spend time with other dealships and go to him. He goes back and forth and just does not get anywhere close. I would never deal with him or this dealership. Avoid at all costs. They think that people who come to buy a Benz are stupid.

    Walked in to buy a off-lease R350 car. The salesperson (Scott Clifton) told me that they've just got a fully-loaded R500 for $36k. Well, we discussed all the options and even though the manager didn't want to pay for the remaining 3 payments on the lease of my SLK55, Scott made it all happen in the paper work. I was suppose to pay $2k down and get the care off their hands. Well, on Tuesday I was told that the bank wanted another $5k down. Weird...I spoke with a firend of mine that is in auto industry and he told me that the dealership wanted probably more money out of me. It was the end of the month and they wanted probably to fulfill the quota. Or probably they wanted to recover the money they're puttin gin the R500 to make it look like new (brakes, tires, etc). Anyway, my wife and I really wanted the R500, but we settled on a ML320 BlueTEC. It has only the Premium 1 package, nad yet Scott asked us if we know how to input the seat settings in the memory. I expected him to know that the Premium 1 package doesn't include seat-memory. I have to say that he did try to find us a good color combo for a ML350 before we decided to go for the Diesel engine. This is my 3rd car from MB Ray Catena. Although Scott seems an okay guy, the whole experience wasn't as great as the previous two. But, I will still be doing business with them.

    Dealt with a sales person by the name of Tom McGowin who is allegedly the nephew of Ray Catena himself. Having bought two other MB's before, I wasn't expecting at all the type of service I received. I literally felt like a second rate citizen where Tom was doing me a favor by letting me get that new car at a "bargain" price. He was always in a hurry and acted like he owned the joint. The epitome of a [violative content deleted] car sales-person casting the web of lies and deceit in order to sell the car. A few times I caught him in a lie, he simply acted like I was at fault for not understanding. THIS GUY WILL RIP YOU OFF!! I will write to MB corporate to file a complaint against this dealership and the people they employ.

    I bought my car @ Ray Catena in NJ, The salesman there Frank Fahy, He sold me the car. The deal was considerable less than two others I had been quoted. Most of all, It was the easiest transaction I ever had. I have owned more cars than I can count with all my fingers and toes. But by far this was the most painless, And most pleasant experience I have ever had. I have been in a related auto businesses for 15 years, So I knew what to expect. As long as I can afford Mercedes Benz products, I will always go back to Ray Catena Mercedes Benz.

    I hate to admit it, but I bought a car from these people because they did have exactly what I wanted in stock. The salesman and his manager made me feel like I was at a Hyundai showroom with their pressure tactics, and lack of knowledge about the car. All they wanted to do was sell me a car right then and there, and they acted like they were doing me a favor answering my questions. And when I tried to negotiate the price they acted like I didn't belong in a Mercedes showroom. And it wasn't just this one salesman. I had been to Catena's other Mercedes showroom in Union, and the salesman there was intent on selling me this one car that they had in stock despite that it was not equipped as I wanted. He told me he could order me the car equipped the way that I wanted it, but that I would probably never get it. What nonsense! They actually had the car as I wanted it in stock at their other location, and he apparently never even bothered to check. I've owned Mercedes before, and while my experiences have been far from perfect, at least the people I've dealt with at the other dealerships have been reasonably professional. Not so at Ray Catena. It gets worse, wait until you read my review of their Service Department.

    I ordered a new Mercedes from Ray Catena because they told me they could get me the car much faster than the MB dealers in Bridgewater and Morristown could. They claimed this was because they are the second highest volume MB dealer in the U.S. Obviously they lied to me just to get me to order the car from them. The car did not arrive when promised, and when I started asking questions both the salesperson and his manager were very evasive, did not return phone calls, and outright lied to me. I finally got the car 2 months late only after dealing directly with the dealership's General Manager.
