Grateful for a positive experience; I LOVE my new car

I had a problem with my 2016 Honda Accord which I brought to Honda of Keene (one of the Fenton Family Dealerships). I wasn't planning on replacing my car, but because of the extremely helpful and accommodating sales staff (Eric and Jeremy) at Honda of Keene, I decided that it was better to replace my 2016 Honda instead of trying to repair it. After looking at pre-owned cars, it made more sense to get a new car. I ended up getting a brand new Honda Accord Hybrid, which I LOVE! I feel I was given a very fair price on the new car and an excellent price on my 2016 Honda trade-in. The whole sales process (including business manager, Teagan), was painless and stress-free. We think this is the ninth car that we (my husband, son, and myself) have bought from Fenton Family Dealerships; there's a reason people keep going back! Thank you, Bill Fenton.

    Brought my car in for servicing, the problem turned out be a major one! The next thing I know I am buying a car. They gave me minimal trade in value but enough to help with a down payment.   • Unnecessary maintainence recommended

    I went to Honda of Keene to get a recall service on my 2023 Honda CR-V. At the end of the service, which was promptly done, they recommended that I get both me transmission and differential service with a fluid change for the cost of $300+. My car only had 30,000 miles on it, and I declined the service. I went and checked with my normal mechanic, and he said that such a service was totally unnecessary at that mileage. Perhaps it would be needed at 60-70,000 miles but not at 30,000. This clearly seems like an attempt to sell me as service I did not need in order to get an extra $300 out of me.

    I have always stressed over buying a car. A purchase that should be fun, dealerships/salesmen always take the fun out and I have always walked away thinking I was taken advantage of. 40+ years of buying vehicles always the same until now. I went in knowing exaclty what I was looking for, I had called the dealer earlier in the day, and spoke with Larry Gilmet, explained the vehicle I was interested in. When I arrived at the dealership Larry met me at the door, he had the car all ready for a testdrive. Larry was very helpful through the entire purchase, no pressure, he listened to my concerns and I walked away with a good experience and thinking this is how buying a new car should be! When Alex Mackay the sales manager came to the desk, I said to myself ok now is where the sales pressure starts, I was wrong, Alex showed me a couple options for warranties, we went over financing and what I expected, I picked the one I wanted and that was it, no pressure and a feeling that I was respected. All around great experience and I highly recommend this dealeriship to everyone. Larry was exceptional if only all salesmen could follow his example. Sincerely, Todd Souza
