Customer for years
by S Linder on 10/02/2024I wanted to take my vehicle in for service. When I tried to see how long for an appt., it was going to take a couple of months to get in. I talked to someone in the service dept about the issue (having troubles starting it on the first… try a couple of times) to see if it would be covered by the warranty, but they were unable to tell me until they looked at it. It takes me almost an hour and a half to get to them from where I live. I was hoping they might be able to tell me, so that I could decide if I wanted to just take it someplace local and pay for it. The lady I spoke to was very nice. I am disabled and sitting around there the whole day would have caused great pain for me. I was also concerned about what I would do if they had to keep the car for some reason. Would I have to get a hotel room and stay there or what. So, needless to say, I greatly appreciated the loaner car she offered me (a very nice one by the way). She said that if I would bring it in, they would just squeeze it in as soon as they could, so I did. I dropped the car off and within a couple of days I heard back from them. They could not find the issue. Of course, when you take your car to the mechanic, it stops doing whatever it was that you took it in for. I asked them to keep it another day or two to see if it would do it again, but it didn't. I went ahead and picked the car up. Maybe it was an issue with me and not the car, who knows. Everyone there was very nice and I had no charge for the service. I have purchased my last 4 or 5 vehicles from them and have had very good experiences.Thank you for sharing your experience with Dolan Kia. We're glad to hear that our team was accommodating and provided a loaner car during your visit, even though the issue couldn't be replicated. Excellent service
by Carl Bodin on 02/23/2024Arrived at assigned appointment. Was greeted by service personnel and checked in. went over what had to be done to my car and was given an accurate estimate. Was offered a courtesy ride if I had any errands to run. Returned hour and half… later and my car was finished. Oil change, safety check, tires rotated. Went over what was done and what needs to be looked after in the near future, brakes and tires. I'm satisfied with the service here at Dolin Kia.Carl, we're glad to know you had a positive experience at Dolan Kia. Our team always aims to provide efficient and thorough service. Shout out to Spencer!
by Kia on 12/01/2023Depending on what you need and who you get to help you. I went in for oil change. Was a little bit un-happy to have to wait for 2 hours to get an oil change even though I made an appointment 2 weeks out. Short staff was the reason. I guess… every time I make the appointment, they are always short staffed because it’s usually how long it takes, for an oil change. Needless to say, I was offered to wait at the lounge and have some coffee, how does one drink coffee without a cup? Asked the parts attendant, who didn’t seem concerned just responded no cups! So there I sat and waited. One hour and a half later, Spencer came over and said, car wash would probably not happen unless I can wait another 15 minutes if I wanted it done, really? ( I guess car wash means just spraying the car with water, because the car wasn’t even cleaned) I finally just said I guess another 15 minutes will not hurt to wait. Needless to say I waited, Spencer came back said that the car was done. He was courteous enough to keep me informed. I asked about my other problem, he said he would mention it to Vanessa ( assistant service rep) who was suppose to get back with me with regards to my problem, but never did. Spencer said that he would mention it, but I have no faith that things will get resolved. My next step with go to the owner and voice my complain. Needless to say, the 3 star is for Spencer. For the dealership itself…no comment. Only reason I get my oil change done is because I was given free oil change card. Which is part of the problem, otherwise I would not recommend to anyone this dealership. I don’t know if the owners are aware how this place is ran, considering they advertise themselves as a caring and family oriented. If anyone takes this comment seriously, I hope that I get a call from one of the owner.Great Service
