  • Very rude

1 out of 5 starsby Rohaun on 09/11/2014

When you are buying a car the people from centennial are very nice but if you have questions or concern about the vehicle that you already bought from them as if you dont have money in your pocket they dont have time and dont want to entertain questions They did not properly assist and informed us about warranty and the features of the vehicle ...

  • Very friendly, helpful and not too pushy

    5 out of 5 starsby sandman1020 on 07/19/2014

Our car buying experience with Centennial Toyota was excellent for the most part. The one thing that was disappointing was the dealerships failure to honor the "No payment for 90 days" promotion that they advertised. But besides that our salesperson Zaid M. was a pleasure to do business with. As with any car buying experience at a dealership there is a negotiating process that must take place and it usually is not an enjoyable experience, but it comes with the territory and the negotiating process with Zaid M. was surprisingly stress free. I would highly recommend dealing with Zaid M. in Sales and James N. in the Finance Department if you ever plan to do business with Centennial Toyota. When it came time to go into the financing office we dealt with James N. who was also very friendly and a pleasure to deal with. Of course James made his pitch to sell extended warranties and things of that nature and I expected that because that is his job and when I declined on most of the additional products James was not pushy and accepted my decisions with a smile and some humor. I did purchase the extended bumper to bumper warranty that extended the standard 3 years/36,000 miles to 5 years/100,000 miles because personally I like to have that piece of mind especially because I will be towing with the vehicle. One thing that really stuck out was the attentiveness and friendliness that everyone at Centennial Toyota displayed. Every employee goes out of their way to make you feel welcome by consistently making eye contact, greeting you and making every effort to make you feel special by addressing you by your name if they know it and constantly offering snacks and refreshments. It was not just directed towards me because I was buying a car but to everyone such as customers getting their vehicles serviced or just people browsing that had no intentions to purchase at all. It is because of those little details I will definitely do business with this dealership in the future even though there is another Toyota dealership that is much closer to where I live. I also had I couple of minor service issues that needed attention and the employees in the Service Department are just as friendly an attentive. As with any car buying transaction at any dealership be prepared to question everything and negotiate until your face turns blue to get a fair price. I have been through this process many times at different dealerships that were no fun at all and downright miserable and I must say that the employees at Centennial Toyota made the process a somewhat pleasurable experience for me.
    • Hello Sandman, Thanks for the reviews! It's great to hear that Zaid was able to get you the Toyota you were looking for. We value your business and hope you enjoy the new vehicle! - Centennial Toyota

  • Superb Service Department!

I recently purchased I new 2014 Runner and there were a couple of very minor issues with the interior of the 4 Runner that needed attention. When I went for service I had the pleasure of dealing with Carmine K. who was very helpful and friendly. Even though my service issues were very minor Carmine treated it as if it were his own car and promptly took care of the issues in a decent amount of time.

  • Quintessential Toyota Dealership.

I was very impressed with my visit and purchase at Centennial. I had purchased my previous Toyota from Fletcher Jones in '07 and the sales philosophy of the two dealerships are entirely different. Centennial Toyota didn't pressure it's customers. In fact, their want to make sure that you acquired the vehicle you needed far exceeded my expectations. Short of fitting me for the vehicle I purchased, the sales advisor really helped me to see some things about my driving habits that assisted me the purchase of my 2010 Toyota Venza. I have often said and wrote Toyota about the sales manager that helped me. Slade Talbot should be a G.M. of a dealership. He was more than knowledgeable; he was responsible and understood the investment that I was making. The overall sales concept at Centennial Toyota is fantastic.
    • Dear Customer! Thank you so much for writing such a wonderful review. We agree Slade is amazing and will be so thrilled to hear the great things you had to say about our dealership. We hope you enjoy your new vehicle and look forward to your next visit!-Centennial Toyota

Overall, a pleasurable experience. Our salesman Douglas and the sales manager James were a pleasure to deal with. We went in with a quote from Truecar.com and with no hassles, the quote was honored. I will certainly take my business to Centennial Toyota the next time we shop for a new vehicle.

I would recommend this dealer to anyone who wants honest and straightforward salesmanship. No pressure at all and I have often thought that Slade Talbot needs to run his own dealership. He is the best no pressure salesman that I have had the pleasure to work with.
    • Thank you for your kind words and welcome to the Centennial Toyota family! We appreciate your business. We are so pleased you had a great car shopping experience with Slade! Enjoy your vehicle and let us know if you need anything!-Centennial Toyota

  • Beware--Old School Tactics

    1 out of 5 starsby skycrane77 on 02/23/2012

This neighborhood dealer had exactly the car we were looking for; however, our experience with their sales personnel quickly drove us away to another dealer. The salesman was intent on doing things his way or the highway. He treated me as if I was some 18 year old kid buying his first car. Furthermore, this dealership adds their own window sticker alongside Toyota's official one wherein they add about $2000 worth of dealer add-ons (which we all know is pure profit) such as appearance packages that nobody wants or needs. I thought that tactic went away about 20 years ago. Finally, during price negotiations, the so-called sales manager appeared, never introduced himself, provided no business card, and threw his price sheet on the table and in so many words told us to take it or leave it. We promptly left, never to return again to this dealership, even though it is only 10 minutes from my home. The next day, we visited a another dealership across town and bought the same car for a very reasonable price and with sales professionals that not only knew what they were doing, but were extremely pleasant to work with. Bottom line, in having purchased about 30 brand new cars in my life, this was the absolute worst experience ever!
