    I am a believer in it’s where you end not where you start. I had some issues with my car and wasn’t necessarily a happy customer at first. Samantha was amazing and made sure to get me my car in working condition and that I was taken care of along the way. Gm had back ordered parts so even though not the dealers fault they stood by their product. I would recommend because all dealers or service departments will have issues but ultimately it’s about how it’s handled and customer service and this dealership does have that. I bought another car from them as well recently.

    Horrible service - horrible service manager, lie after excuse after lie.............overcharge - work not completed..............every excuse why it's not their fault.

  • 60,000 Major Service For My Lucerne

    Pricey, but thorough, service to ready my 2007 Lucerne for the next 60K. My only controversial item was the broken motor mount, producing "clunks" when gas was applied or released, much like an old worn differential. In my opinion a motor mount should not fail, and if it did it should be warranted by the manufacturer. My 2007 Buick Lucerne is the finest car I have ever owned, and because I cannot buy another I must take care of the one I have.

    miYou had my car for over two weeks. I had to make calls to see where the progress was. Each time I had to leave a message ( really a message). To top it off I had to call back after leaving a message after 4 hours of no return call. I waited at least 2-3 hrs for returned calls each time I left a message. Once I spoke to a lady who was pissy at best and after being put on hold she said 'it's not ready' I asked her ' well how long then ' she responded in a pissy voice ' I would have to go out andask the mechanic that question' which I replied 'what were you doing the 5 minutes I was on hold'. Got no response other than I would have to wait for someone else to call me back. Mark was nice but after over two weeks I still don't have all the parts and have yet to receive a call explaining when a motor cover will be in and how they plan on getting it on. I live in incline and because of your poor management and mistake I will be again out of time and money to drive to your shop for less than quality service. Disappointed as I respected your shop. It is where I bought my vehicle and had two friends buy vehicles. I will not look to buy a vehicle here again as I like having my vehicle serviced at the place I purchase. Also why wait for 6-8 days for parts. Amazon can deliver ant product anywhere in 2 days and I hdave to wait 6-8 days and then the order is incomplete. Inexcusable. I have been asked how my service went and I know of 5 people who chose not to go to your shop die to my experience. I really wanted to be a fan but this over two week incomplete and poor communication did me in. I will say Mark was nice when I talked to him but he had nothing to wok with other that 'I am sorry'. 'Out of my control'. Sorry does not work if it is a regular tool used and out of control is a sign of poor company.

    The service was excellent, The only thing I hope that can be changed is a call back that was stated would happen when the part came into the shop. Instead I had to call back and see how things were progressing. This seems trivial but I feel that if your going to tell me you will call, I should get the call. The main thing is that the service was great after the vehicle was dropped off. I also appreciate being picked up since I did not have a way to get to the shop. High marks for the staff after all was done.

    I had my Encore's oil changed, tires rotated and they took care of my recall notice. All the above was done in the time frame they advised. I like being able to make a service appointment via email and get a confirmation the same way.

    I had a great experience. It was very easy with no drama. The car was ready when it was suppose to be. Easy in and easy out.

    Horrible experience. The service dept. initially misdiagnosed the problem then falsely accused me of creating the problem. This dealer and service department is NOT a customer advocate. They are looking out for their profit and if they don't warranty the problem they make more profit. Chevrolet ended up covering the claim under warranty, after numerous calls. The dealer NEVER offered to help me in any way. When I did pick my new vehicle up the interior was covered with greasy handprints. I had to schedule another appointment for them to clean it and they even got wrong on the first try. I will NEVER do any business with Michael Hohl Chevrolet again. The dealership looks nice and new but don't judge a book by its cover, they are not a customer-focused business. For me it will be well worth the drive to Reno Chevrolet. This is the first negative review I have written on any site. We all deserve better.

About our dealership
