by tbj115 on 02/25/2019The week of February 18th I visited this dealership twice - inquiring about two vehicles that were near my max price point. Both times I worked with Greg Patton. He seemed interested in my needs and my wants with my budget. Thursday,… February 21st, I brought my family in to show them the car, it was a 2016 Santa Fe, with low miles, priced at $18,000. The family loved it. After that visit, I talked and texted(i still have all of the texts) with Greg regarding our desire to get this car, even though it was $500 over our max price point. At one point(at 5:38pm on the 21st), Greg said "just got done talking to the gm. He glanced at the two cars you're interested in and said we're close enough that we'll make it work, that it's worth coming in Saturday". Great news, right? WRONG!! Come Saturday morning, Greg isn't there(he was in Florida from what i was told) and we're dealing with Kati, whom, according to Greg "is up to speed with what your deal is". After going back and forth with, what i thought was "taken care of", we come to find out that the car which was listed at $18,000, is now $19,750 - due to the Napleton Experience cost, the certification cost and the documentation fee. Instead of meeting us halfway, these folks actually raised their asking price. Again, I have all the documentation to back this up. At this point, our two young kids, one of whom was missing out on her Girlscout Volunteer project(since the "quick transaction" is now over an hour long) - we said we're walking away from this deal. The gm or floor manager(bobby, i think?), came in and tried to justify the increase cost - which I responded is all "minutia since we relied and believed Greg was speaking from a place of knowledge and experience. I finally asked about the other vehicle, which was priced at $17,700, only $200 over our max price point. Was told they could not go any lower, and in fact, after all the certification and Napleton Experience, it would be into the high $18,000's. At this point, we were so discouraged, frustrated and disappointed, we left. Not only did we take away our daughters' volunteer opportunity with her Girlscout troop, but we were deceived and flat out lied to, and making this matter even more frustrating, leading up to our visit, we told our kids we're off to buy a new car. Even when I should Kati and Bobby(i think that was his name) the messages from their employee about the price, they still would not honor it. Also, during this visit, I texted Greg several times asking him "what the heck is going on with them raising the price"? No response from him. Please consider another dealership before buying from these folks - they are not honest nor do they honor what a current employee says regarding pricing of a vehicle. Lastly, at 5pm on the 23rd(only 6 hours after I left), their website changed the asking price from $18,000 to $17,500, which was the price I offered and was told they couldn't do. In my opinion, this dealership does not put the customer first, nor do they honor a offer(in text form) a deal that was agreed upon a day earlier.No truth in advertising
by Dena_M on 12/29/2018I was ready to purchase a used sonata at the Internet advertised price. Dealership would not sell at that price. They required a protection policy for $899 be added. News flash, thats Illegal advertising. They also required we finance the… car when we were ready to pay cash. They get kickback from credit company when financed.We're disappointed to hear of the negative experience you had at our location. We would like an opportunity to make this up to you. Bad Customer Service
by Mari-s17 on 12/12/2018It is unfair that a person over the phone that is a customer willing to get a car get's the end of the stick after trying to get a car over there for three weeks just to have me talk to the assistant of the director to have me talk to the… manager and find out they sold the car today this was supposed to be a family owned business how are they supposed to take care of family if they can't take care of customers and they say they go above and beyond for customers but they couldn't even return my calls.Best experience ever

Made us feel like family from the get go, can't thank Barry Jones and all the guys,( you know who you are),… for making this experience unforgettable. Honest, open , and upfront with us from the start all the way through us driving off the lot , have never experienced such an outstanding balance of leadership and support from a dealership sales team, Thank you all for all your hard workGreat Advice

Sales Good, Service Not So Good

The service we received after/during the purchase was not as positive. We… purchased a pre-owned vehicle and were told it would be detail cleaned before pick up. I pointed out a specific area I noticed that needed to be cleaned in the rear of the vehicle. We were assured it would be, but it wasn't, nor was it properly vacuumed. Kati sent it for another detail cleaning which caused us to wait another 40 minutes when we should have been ready to leave with the car. Kati provided us some QT giftcards for our trouble, which was appreciated. I just wish it would have been cleaned appropriately when it was sent initially for detail cleaning, since we had already been there for over 2 hours finalizing paperwork. Also, there was an obvious, large smudge on the interior of the windshield which was not taken care of during either detail cleaning. We were also very disappointed to find out, only upon being ready to leave with our vehicle, that only one key was included in our purchase. The vehicle has a keyless entry and therefore is an expensive key. I can't quite understand how/why we were only given one key. When I asked about this, the answer provided was it is part of the Napelton Experience to get a free key when a key is lost. I don't think that should mean that only one key be provided to the purchaser of the vehicle. That seems silly and requires for me to purchase an additional key elsewhere because I don't feel comfortable not having a spare key to my vehicle at the ready, regardless if I would get a free one from Napelton if I lost one. Lastly, although we purchased the vehicle over 2 weeks ago and our check for full payment was cashed almost 2 weeks ago, we still have not received the title in the mail. It would have been helpful to know that it would take this long to receive it, given the window of time to register the vehicle is only 30 days.Thank you for taking the time to leave us this detailed review. Fantastic dealership

Kati (our salesperson) was kind, professional, and knowledgeable - a breath of fresh air after dealing with pushy and disingenuous salespeople all day. Easy process!

Great test drive, she answered all questions we had or helped us find the answer. We felt like she was in our… corner and made the process less stressful than car buying typically is! She has been available for questions, follow up information, and know we can come back as well! Very thankful for an easy decision and feel confident in our new family van! The GM Bobby Clifford is the man
by Wes on 01/18/2018I went to this location because its not to far from my house and was looking for a newer vehicle .I stress the word Looking because I have credit issues and have been told in the past I would need several thousands of dollars down so was… thinking of buying around tax time.I was greeted by Bobby with a friendly smile and a firm handshake and made me feel very comfortable. We discussed my situation an he suggested to allow him to try an assist him in getting into a vehicle so I decided to do a credit application.After completing the application he came over an sat down with me and I figured here we go same speech ....can you come up with 3k....can you get a cosigner ? Instead he asked me some question's regarding my budget and said let me make a phone call. He came back and introduced me to a sales person that test drove a vehicle with me,been here before also and was reluctant to drive the car because I didn't want to get my hopes up. When I came back he asked if I liked it an I loved it then asked would it work for me and said yes and before I knew it I was buying a vehicle.He made me and my family so happy not only with getting me finance with basically a few hundred bucks down but most of all he spoke to me with respect and made me feel comfortable .
