Other staff experiences I had were considerate, such as with financing specialists, who kindly answered questions I had without making me feel… dumb. This was my first experience buying a car and it was great! I had no issues and the process from start to finish was 2 hours long, not all day. I appreciate Jon for staying later than usual to help me with my sale experience! Echo Park is definitely different from other dealers. I love how they have a clean facility and that they are warranty-centered. I am super happy with my car and happy to have a warranty!Sell it!

He went above and beyond, making sure I got the best deal possible. Even though I bombarded him… with a million questions, he stayed polite, respectful, and super patient through it all. Not only did Jimmy handle all my concerns like a pro, but he also made the experience comfortable for my daughter, even letting me test drive with her in the backseat. I never heard of EchoPark before this, but now I can't imagine going anywhere else. I'll definitely be back for my next car, and I’ll be telling everyone to ask for Jimmy—the guy who can handle it all (and fellow left-hander, might I add)! I reserved the car online, worrying the price was too low to be true - but I worked with a salesman… over the phone and they had everything printed off and ready for me when I arrived, after I drove an hour. I was in and out in 30 min, the car was perfect - easiest experience I've had so far buying a car. I've referred two of my friends to them so far. If you want the same car as every other dealer, but thousands cheaper and not spend the entire day getting passed around, then this is the place to go.Great Car, but dealbreaker over hidden dealer fees
by Bewildered Customer on 06/23/2024My experience was interesting yesterday...I've never been to purchase a car from a place that forces you to use their own financing. I had gotten preapproved through my credit union and was told that I could not use them, but had to use… their list of lenders (which was charging over 1.5% higher than my bank). I worked that out and then test drove the car and was prepared to purchase the car and was told that they only took cash, no checks, as a good faith hold to purchase (which was of course, non-refundable). Then I was informed that the dealers fees were almost $600 and was also going to be forced (I was told it was not an option) to purchase an inside and outside protection service of almost another $600, so just know going in, the wonderful price they advertise isn't what you are going to really pay. It was a deal breaker for me, so left. It was a shame, because I was going to purchase the vehicle without haggling.The worst mansplaining I've ever experienced
by Teri in STL on 02/27/2024This was one of six dealerships I visited while shopping for my car, and the only one where the salesperson mansplained his way out of my business. I shared that I was paying cash, and Elijah (knowing NOTHING about my financial situation)… tried to convince me that I made the wrong choice. Even when I gave him some of my situation, he doubled down on why I should have asked HIM before committing to a plan of action! I told him that I did not want a car that had been used as a rental. He again tried to convince me that my preference was invalid, and that I should reject my own life experience in favor of his opinion. When the woman training with him was going to get a second car for me to drive, he also tried to control how she worked. She was attempting to be of the best service to me, while he had some idea about parking the other car first and letting me wait. I attempted to call the manager and tell him all of this. He had no voicemail or email for me to talk with him. I was told he would get the message and contact me back. Instead, the message was passed to Elijah and HE tried to contact me. Just wrong on so many levels!
